Quick & very friendly service. Lovely food. Didn't have skimmed milk but did have oat. Coffees lovely & hot which is a refreshing change! We returned for a second visit.

A bit disappointed with the breakfast, egg very pale and served hard, bacon undercooked for my liking (lots of fat) sausage had very hard skin maybe oven baked. Coffee nice. Overpriced for breakfast. Service very good friendly staff. Seating great.

I just love this place! We’ve been coming here every time we’re visiting Tavi during summer. The cream teas and breakfast bap are our favourites, although by now we also had a brownie, a cheese scone with cheddar and chutney, and the chicken goujons. The staff is always friendly and one waitress even helped us out when we missed our bus into Dartmoor by telling us how we could still go for a hike up to a tor. (Shout out to her: We did follow your advice and had a great day, thanks to you!)

Popped in here whilst we waited for bus back to Okehampton - in fact we missed a bus as we were enjoying our tea. Lovely HOT tea and plenty of it. I wasn't going to have cake but the next tables looked so lovely I had the lovely lemon and ginger which was lovely and light. A good end to a lovely day in Tavistock

Really friendly local cafe serving lovely coffee and delicious food. I had a cheese scone (warm! mmm) with a rasher of bacon, delicious and my partner had the full English. Served quickly by friendly staff, the place has a great atmosphere and if full of locals you know it's going to be good! Thankyou!

Really smelly , it always has this really weird smell whenever you walk past it , it’s very nasty and makes me feel sick , smells like gone off hot food , really unpleasant

Lovely little place in beautiful environs, smiling, helpful staff, food was lovely, best Full English I've had in a long time, big pile of fried sliced mushrooms, even the cup of tea was tasty, well worth the money. Well placed for visiting the lovely Pannier Market and the rest of what Tavistock has to offer. Public transport, courtesy of the bus station, onward to Tamar Valley villages was good.

Tavistock the home of cream teas allegally I had a cream tea with coffee I know sacrilege I had nearly finished my coffee by the time the scone arrived the coffee was good the scone was warm but to small for me and fell apart when I tried to put the cream on but taste was good

Tavistock lays claim to the fact that it is the birthplace of the cream tea...so naturally, we had to try it. Cafe Liaison was recommended to us as the BEST...and it did not disappoint. We ordered fruit scones with English breakfast tea and, wow. Scrumptious! We were gently informed that the Cornish way to dress the scone was jam first, then clotted cream. Warm, tender scone, full of fruit, delicious thick cream and jam. Courteous, prompt service. I bake myself, but have never been able to achieve the quality of the scone Cafe Liaison is able to produce! Would love to have the recipe, but likely this is a secret ;-). Thank you for a delightful experience!

Enjoyed a lovely bacon, egg, sausage, and hash brown in a brioche bun, together with a delicious cup of coffee. Amazingly quick service, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be revisiting.

Popped in from a night wild-camping on Dartmoor for breakfast on the way to a friend in Padstow. Lovely, friendly vibes. Bright and modern decor. Food was cooked to perfection. And a service with a smile too 😊 I would highly recommend a visit. 👍🏻

Great place to sit, eat, and watch the world go by. Lovely view across the church green. It has my recommendation, and I will definitely drop in again when I next visit Tavistock.

This is our local Coffee shop, we now default to this over any other. Highly recommended, lovely staff. Admittedly we are quite regular customers now, it has gotten to the point our order is predictable. Highly recommend the combination of Cheesy Chips and medium oat mocha (1 shot oat latte and 2 shot oat mocha pictured). Vegan options for those with dietary restrictions etc as well, and will modify the strength of coffees should you have any issues with caffeine. Parking is available either long stay for 4hrs at £2 or shorter stay for around the same at the nearby Russell Street. Hi to Natasha, Rachel and the gang, see you in the week (work allowing :3)

Great vegan bun-free burger, amazing vegan coleslaw all home made so you know it’s good. Had to ask about gluten free and they knew all the dishes so could recommend for my partner (hard to find both vegan and gluten free together for her). All homemade and banging coffee to boot with a choice of cow, oat and soya milk!! Wait staff so kind and didn’t make us feel like we were moonmen, really know their stuff are are clearly proud of what they do.

Great breakfast on Monday & very nice coffees. Ate downstairs, but had a look upstairs, which looks really nice & cosy for a leisurely coffee. Evident from the chat around us that there are lots of regulars, which is a good sign!

Perfect take away breakfast! What a great little cafe. We popped in to ask if they did takeaway and, whilst takeaway wasn't advertised, it was top notch. We had a nut allergy and the baps were brought out well wrapped, bagged and labelled up for allergy, ketchup or daddies sauce :) Food was great, atmosphere buzzing and staff so attentive and helpful! Thank you so much, it made a great start to our long drive home from hols.

We recently stayed near Tavistok, and this became a favourite for breakfasts and lunch. On various days I had the veggie breakfast, which was one of the best I've had, a tuna melt and a burger. The burger seemed homemade and was delicious. The coffee was great. Staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, and the menu is varied. The cafe has tables and chairs downstairs with more of a lounge feel upstairs. We never felt crowded or rushed even when they were busy. Would recommend.

I only had a cup of chamomile tea. However, I did notice the food being served to other customers, and it looked yummy. They seemed to enjoy their meals.

Had to wait for a table to become available, we ordered tea for 2 and it was served in quite large teapots, we actually got 2 cups from each of teapot. It was clean and well staffed.

I CAUGHT THE BUS TO TAVISTOCK ON THE 28TH IT WAS A RAINY DAY AND I HAD NOT BEEN TO THE CAFE LIASON FOR OVER 6 MONTHS OR MORE BECAUSE OF WORK. I ORDERED A BREAKFAST AND A LARGE LATTE IN WAS FANTASTIC FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, I ONLY WISH I COULD GO THERE MORE OFTEN, MANY THANKS CAFE LIASON, I FELT VERY WELCOME, FIVE GOLD STARS TO THE STAFF TOO.

A busy café with friendly service. Worth getting away from the Pannier Market crowd. The food at neighbouring tables looked good but we were just in for a flat white and hot chocolate with plain scone. Very nice space upstairs. Would return for a meal at another time.

Always love it here, service is friendly and Archie (the husky) loves the staff. I have never yet had a complaint about the food and the personal touch of a bowl of water for the dog and also allowing me to order a cooked sausage or two for him is also wonderful.
