This is our local Coffee shop, we now default to this over any other. Highly recommended, lovely staff. Admittedly we are quite regular customers now, it has gotten to the point our order is predictable. Highly recommend the combination of Cheesy Chips and medium oat mocha (1 shot oat latte and 2 shot oat mocha pictured). Vegan options for those with dietary restrictions etc as well, and will modify the strength of coffees should you have any issues with caffeine. Parking is available either long stay for 4hrs at £2 or shorter stay for around the same at the nearby Russell Street. Hi to Natasha, Rachel and the gang, see you in the week (work allowing :3)

Great vegan bun-free burger, amazing vegan coleslaw all home made so you know it’s good. Had to ask about gluten free and they knew all the dishes so could recommend for my partner (hard to find both vegan and gluten free together for her). All homemade and banging coffee to boot with a choice of cow, oat and soya milk!! Wait staff so kind and didn’t make us feel like we were moonmen, really know their stuff are are clearly proud of what they do.

Always enjoy a visit to the Cafe Liasion, great food and drinks, good atmosphere good service. Can get a bit crowded at times due to limited space, as it is a very popular local cafe.

Great breakfast on Monday & very nice coffees. Ate downstairs, but had a look upstairs, which looks really nice & cosy for a leisurely coffee. Evident from the chat around us that there are lots of regulars, which is a good sign!

My favourite cafe! Downstairs for a table for a meal and upstairs for a comfy chair for coffee and chat. Food and coffee excellent.

Perfect take away breakfast! What a great little cafe. We popped in to ask if they did takeaway and, whilst takeaway wasn't advertised, it was top notch. We had a nut allergy and the baps were brought out well wrapped, bagged and labelled up for allergy, ketchup or daddies sauce :) Food was great, atmosphere buzzing and staff so attentive and helpful! Thank you so much, it made a great start to our long drive home from hols.

We recently stayed near Tavistok, and this became a favourite for breakfasts and lunch. On various days I had the veggie breakfast, which was one of the best I've had, a tuna melt and a burger. The burger seemed homemade and was delicious. The coffee was great. Staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, and the menu is varied. The cafe has tables and chairs downstairs with more of a lounge feel upstairs. We never felt crowded or rushed even when they were busy. Would recommend.

This quaint cafe was a great find on our first visit to Tavistock. The full English breakfast was delicious 👌👌

I only had a cup of chamomile tea. However, I did notice the food being served to other customers, and it looked yummy. They seemed to enjoy their meals.

Had to wait for a table to become available, we ordered tea for 2 and it was served in quite large teapots, we actually got 2 cups from each of teapot. It was clean and well staffed.

I CAUGHT THE BUS TO TAVISTOCK ON THE 28TH IT WAS A RAINY DAY AND I HAD NOT BEEN TO THE CAFE LIASON FOR OVER 6 MONTHS OR MORE BECAUSE OF WORK. I ORDERED A BREAKFAST AND A LARGE LATTE IN WAS FANTASTIC FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, I ONLY WISH I COULD GO THERE MORE OFTEN, MANY THANKS CAFE LIASON, I FELT VERY WELCOME, FIVE GOLD STARS TO THE STAFF TOO.

A busy café with friendly service. Worth getting away from the Pannier Market crowd. The food at neighbouring tables looked good but we were just in for a flat white and hot chocolate with plain scone. Very nice space upstairs. Would return for a meal at another time.

Always love it here, service is friendly and Archie (the husky) loves the staff. I have never yet had a complaint about the food and the personal touch of a bowl of water for the dog and also allowing me to order a cooked sausage or two for him is also wonderful. We popped in for a late breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. Second time we've been here and it was just as nice as we remember before. There is cosy seating upstairs also.

Popped in for a luncheon and it was delightful. Food was excellent with great service. No appreciable wait either as it was reasonably busy when we were there. Menu is comprehensive giving a good choice. Good prices too. Thanks all.

Excellent independent café serving fantastic food (we had breakfast as it was on the breakfast menu when we arrived) and drink (I had a large latte with gingerbread syrup and squirty cream, which was top quality) and the staff were very pleasant and the service excellent. Also very nice inside and outside the café. First time in Tavistock and it is a lovely historic market town thankfully untouched by modern big chains.

A fairly basic cafe, with a reasonable but basic menu. Rather squashed downstairs but settees and more comfortable seating upstairs. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

What a lovely cafe had a lovely baileys hot chocolate on a very cold day which was lovely. My only criticism is that they allow dogs and with space being tight a dog lying on the floor makes it very tricky to move around and with my other half scared of dogs not a great mix.

I ate here a few weeks ago. Pot of tea was very nice and a generous size. Ordered the falafel flatbread and portion of chips. The falafel itself was tasty with the sweet chilli sauce, but the flatbread didn’t work in my opinion. Would have been better using a tortilla wrap or a pitta, and I would have added hummus and perhaps some peppers with the falafels. The chips were okay, not the best or the worst I’ve ever had. I also asked for coleslaw and then received only a small pot of mayonnaise. Quite expensive compared to other cafes and tearooms in Tavistock. Staff were friendly though and it is a popular cafe in town.
