My family & I stumbled across this fabulous find.... Cafe Jazz, located nearby Primark in Scunthorpe town centre. The menu has standard cafe dishes & all made from scratch says Sam, the lovely friendly owner. I opted for βfull worksβ breakfast which was really tasty & included Lincolnshire sausages & a generous serving of black pudding! The breakfast included a coffee & was amazing value for money! Well worth a visit when your planning a shopping trip to the town centre! Thanks Sam & team! And thank you for the COVID safe environment! We appreciated it.

Me and my wife went to Scunthorpe today to do a little shopping for Christmas. We had lunch at Cafe Jazz and that was one bad mistake. I ordered curry and chips, well I have to say they were the worst curry and chips I have ever had in my life it tasted nothing like curry at all. It is shameful that they could serve a customer with food so poor that I could not eat it. My wife did complain to one os the staff and in all fairness the did offer to replace it. The waitress said the curry was a madras and then went on to say that it was a slimming world curry. So my advise is stay well clear of the curry.

Do not use the booster seats for children in cafe jazz, one year old had just tipped himself straight onto the floor, staff didnβt really do much to help other than given me a damp cloth for his head. Came to the table after heβd calmed down and my partner suggested them getting proper high chairs to which the manager just said oh well weβve never had a problem before and then walked off. Rude and unhelpful Then paid Β£12 for all our food which we couldnβt eat because it was cold by the time we calmed the baby down. Didnβt even offer to knock any money off or make us fresh food Pic of little ones face after he hit his head off the floor

From the outside, doesn't look anything, but step inside as there is great staff and food. Very clean place and staff really make you feel at home. A cheap place to eat and drink and surprised that it isn't used by more

Location wise this is central to town I've tried it a few times but disappointed staff were rude and rushed our food burnt toast and sausages cold beans the price is really cheap for breakfast if you go early but this reflects in the service and cooking.

I had been to this place before but quite a while ago now and I was in Scunthorpe with a few hours to kill. I remembered that this place does superb breakfasts so this was an ideal time to see if it still was. I remembered that on entering you had to go and tell the staff what you wanted which I did and was told to sit down and it would be brought to me. My coffee was brought while I waitd, black with milk supplied if I wanted white. It wasn't long before my breakfast appeared and I must admit it looked amazing. Too right, it tasted amazing too. Two sausages, two bacon, one egg, beans and toast and believe me it was filling I almost struggled at the end but I survived. The sausages were proper butcher's sausages that were quite filling on their own but tasty doesn't even describe it. The place is basically a Cafe but it is clean and the food is quite fantastic. It cost Β£6.25 which isn't a cheap breakfast but you would have to go a million miles to get a better one. The staff were very cheerful and helpful and at the end of the day what more do you want. They advertise 'Good honest food at Good honest prices' how true that is with Private Buffets catered for to boot. I for one can't wait to go back to Scunthorpe so I can go and have another fanastic breakfast. If you wnt to email them it is vickerssam9@gmail.com

Great spot in Epworth, right in the center! The accommodations are basic but very nice. Comfy beds and hot showers. Love this place. The staff at the Red Lion in October 2024 were very friendly and made me feel welcome.

Top marks all round, 5πππππ, 10/10, ππ. Usually when I have to work away I end up in a Travelodge or similar hotel chain because it's generally easier for the office to book etc. This time I found myself working at the Port and found this little gem. It must be a reasonable price because there was no grumbling from said office and they even paid for my breakfasts. I received a very pleasant, happy and friendly greeting when I checked in, Stephen (or Steven) is a superb host/landlord. I was shown to my room which was more than adequate, the beds and also the bedding were very comfortable and the bathroom with the great big shower head and hot water was just the ticket after work. True there's not a great deal of local facilities you are basically on a road with a pub and a local corner shop, but the food in the pub is very good, (I can definitely recommend the fish and chips) there's dartboards and a pool table. Breakfasts are spot on very tasty, Bacon, Sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns, tomato, mushrooms and toast, washed down with a glass of orange juice and a good size pot of tea or coffee. I've stayed on 2 separate occasions and it will be my first choice in the future if I'm working that way again.
