Visited today, waited at least five minutes at the empty counter, one couple behind us walked out and I had to shout through the door to the kitchen and eventually a young girl came out, cream tea was nice but pot of tea was not hot.

Too many dogs. A group of 3 people came in with 4 dogs including 2 St Bernard's. It was selfish of the owners and the cafe manager took no action. There were already quite a few other dogs in the cafe. It was absolutely shocking.

We found this hidden gem of a cafe almost by accident but were delighted to have done done so. Tucked away, opposite the historic church, it offers a real escape from the hustle and bustle of Burford. Plenty of seating at either tables or lounge chairs and dog friendly too. We ordered cream teas, what else in the Cotswolds, and found the scones light and fluffy with plenty of jam and cream all served on stylish white crockery. Very helpful staff and a very relaxing vibe on a busy Saturday afternoon. Well worth taking the time to find it - but don't tell too many people as we would like to keep this as our own special spot.

The cafe is in an attractive long new built extension fitted alongside another building. On a hot day after a good look round the interesting historic church it was a great place to go. We bought ice cream and drinks from the till. The building was cool and refreshing. It also has a garden, but it was too hot for us! The staff were helpful. Can't comment on the food. Tables were clean. Gents was clean. So would go there again. The free car park is nearby over a bridge.

Our food was forgotten, I asked after 30 minutes. Another 5 minutes went by and then we were told they couldn't fulfil our order and then when I went for a refund they magically found the food but one came without salad.

Beautiful space, inside and out, part of Burford church. Friendly and professional service, very nice food and cuppa. Not cheap, but typical for the Cotswolds, worth a little extra for the calm comfort. Really nice.

This was our third big family event at Warwick Hall / Cafe15. We booked the Old Hall, and asked Cafe15 to provide the buffet lunch for a party of 25 family members. As expected, the service was excellent, the food was fresh and generous (well-filled sandwiches of our choice, 2 excellent quiches made in-house). There were some thoughtful touches, too, including provision of chilled water on what was probably the hottest September day for many years. We found Jo and her team to be very willing and very welcoming.

Quiet secluded cafe off the Burford beaten track; away from the overbearing tourists. Coffee and tea good; cake selection small but excellent. Highly recommend the Orange chocolate cake - simply superb. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only found this place by chance after parking down by the river so definitely off the main high street. Modern, lovely and clean. Got a nice vibe about the place and their offering was good too. Can recommend the red lentil and harissa soup it was gorgeous. Prices similar to the high street but felt that we were contributing to the local community.

The meal itself was nice but with an hour wait for only sandwiches and no attempt of an apology from the waitress we were very disappointed and would not return, an apology goes a long way!

Off the beaten track and I'd imagine well known by the locals, this excellent cafe offers good lunches and great value. Service can be a little slow, but it's worth the wait. The honey roast pumpkin soup was amazing.

On arrival we were told table service only and someone would be over to take our order shortly. After 15 minutes of being ignored, the lady who greeted us said that a colleague would be over soon to take our order. We then saw said young male colleague take orders from other customers who arrived after us and completely blank us as if we didn't exist. We then attempted placing order at till but it seems this isn't possible for some bizarre reason. After waiting over 30 minutes without our order being taken, we gave up and went to the Priory instead where service was vastly better. Staff seemed to be lacking in knowledge of what customer service is about. General vibe was also pretentious, with those of a certain class being seen to first. Food looked quite good, but be warned, you may have a long wait!

After visiting the church, we thought it would be nice for a coffee and cake. Tables were dirty and we had to ask for them to be cleaned. Service was good but slow. The big downside was the state of the Gent's toilets! They need to be cleaned! The hand dryer was a health hazard!!

Very friendly staff, lots of room, including outside space (with glorious views!). Modern and clean, fab loos. My toastier was hot and with a generous filling. Drinks were very nice too. Dogs welcome. Cyclists have the back garden in which to leave their steeds safely. Altogether the best place yet I’ve found for lunch in Burford.

Good selection and quality food, and lower prices than the high street cafes in Burford. Comfortable seating in lovely surroundings including a rear garden down to the river.. I hesitated in giving this place 5 stars as being a local I’d quite like to keep it a secret and to myself, but it is deserving of your custom!

This was a long lunch for six families. We had a table for three hours, had teas and coffees, then a good lunch each, then more teas and coffees and some cake to finish off. All of the food was good. Most important for us was the welcoming, willing and 'nothing is too much trouble' approach of the staff. Oh, and the cafe is a pleasant place to sit, and, when the weather is good enough, has a nice garden area too.

I always bring my tour guests here. It's off the beaten track and in a really lovely modern Cotswold stone building. I particularly love sitting outside in their garden on a sunny day. The garden adjoins the river, so its fun to walk down and watch the swans whilst enjoying your coffee

Just visited with all the family. Food lovely but the young guy was quite rude - we came to Burford for 2hrs so it was disappointing that our sandwiches and drinks took over an hour - when I said all the food except one had arrived he bit my head off saying they were busy (ok but I did actually ask politely, wasn’t moaning?) Then 20mins after we finished eating I had to ask for our 2 missing teas only to be told the teapots hadn’t been washed yet….. waited another 10mins then asked if we couldn’t just have it in a mug as we needed to leave - tea duly arrived, no apology nor explanation. Actually embarrassed by his awful customer service and feel aggrieved that I spent over £70 with you! Lady clearing tables was really polite and friendly but would not return!

A very cosy environment and a busy atmosphere gave the Fleece a really nice buzz. There was some big tables in enjoying Xmas work meals and so we were advised that service may be a little slower but in fact everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and professional despite being busy All the food was delicious, the service excellent and the choice of 0% beer very good! Portions were decent, there were some nice ‘gastro’ touches like the crisp chicken skin accompanying the Chicken Schnitzel and the truffle mayo. And the Tiramisu was stunning! All in all, great food, friendly service and a cosy venue
