Cafe Espresso Mk1 in Milton Keynes

Visited this hidden gem while our Grandson was having swimming lessons. What a find, being inside a large gym it was extremely unlikely that I’d ever stumble across it. I’m glad I know it’s here now. The cheesecake was to die for as was the Victoria sponge that my wife had. All homemade on the premises by the very friendly guy who looked after us. I suppose if you really thought it necessary you could go and work it all off in the gym. I preferred to sit comfortably in the lovely spacious cafe though and let it all settle gently. I’m definitely going to come back and try the breakfast!

Such a great spot! We were greeted and served by Glenn. He was super smiley and friendly. We asked to pop a couple of flyers for our business by his counter and he said yes. He then offered us a FREE drink each! It was such a sweet touch and it made our whole day and week!!! We will definitely be returning and telling all our friends and family about this great spot. This hidden gem (hidden within Fitness First on MK1 Retail Park) is a treasure. Visited a few times recently while my daughter has done her thing in the gym and it is a lovely space. Light and airy, spotlessly clean, a varied and reasonably priced menu all held together by two lovely people who cook and serve themselves. As an added bonus, they serve home made cakes. I almost forgot to tell you about what I had. The full English breakfast and it won’t be bettered throughout MK. It might be equaled but certainly not bettered. I won’t inform everybody what it contains but recommend you go and try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed 🤩

Food was brilliant. A extremely varied menu with something for everyone. I had the 3 egg omelette and it was so beautifully presented! I use the gym it is attached to but you don’t have to be a member. You just sign in and away you go.

We found this lovely cafe today on our visit to the shops in MK1. Unfortunately you can’t see it from a distance as it doesn’t have a big hoarding outside. Its within Fitness First so unless you’re specifically going that side of MK1 it’s difficult to locate. Parking is free which is bonus. The cafe is quite spacious with lots of seating and toys available for children. The staff is friendly and service is quick. We had tea along with a slice of Victoria Sponge and Strawberry Cheesecake. It was delicious. They have breakfast and lunch menu too which we will try on our next visit.
