Cafe des Negociants in City of London, Westminster

Highly recommeded this place for coffee/tea and salty snacks. We took quiches and they were fresh and very tasty. The decoration of the place was cosy.

Mi hijo tenía 18 años. Nos habíamos decantado a un frenético Victoria de 'Hamilton' un viernes por la noche y estábamos buscando un lugar para pastel y café para terminar su tarde. Este lugar estaba a punto de cerrar, pero al escuchar nuestra historia, reflejó el mensaje de Navidad abriéndonos y dándonos el tiempo y los medios para celebrarlo.

Habiendo bajado del autobús para una excursión de un día y visitando las cafeterías típicas de cada esquina (sin personalidad porque estábamos demasiado ocupados y nunca volveremos a ver su actitud), ¡nos topamos con este hermoso café! Perfectamente situado y a pocos pasos del Palacio de Buckingham, que era el próximo destino. A las 9 . 30 am sirvió las bebidas calientes y el desayuno perfecto, que es justo lo que quieres después de un viaje en autobús de 4 horas y el servicio fue aún mejor. Mis ojos nunca han estado tan ocupados como la decoración es cautivadora. Intento visitar Londres cada pocos meses y volveré otra vez!

Necesitaba un café y un pastel antes de una matiné en el cercano Apollo y tropecé con esto. Tal soplo de aire fresco de los lugares habituales de café. Simple y sin pretensiones, ubicado en una antigua farmacia sin molestias para The Queen, los cajones de la boticaria también se llenaron de notas y pensamientos de clientes a lo largo de los años para rebuscar. Café encantador, pastel de pacanas encantador, encantador encuentro pasajero. Solamente efectivo.

Estaba lloviendo, decidimos visitar este lugar, descansar y esperar a que pasara la lluvia. . . . Decidimos tomar pastel y café. Pedimos un chocolate caliente, agua y un moca más un par de pasteles, desafortunadamente el tipo dijo que no aceptamos pagos con tarjeta, así que tuvimos que cancelar el pedido de los pasteles ya que solo teníamos efectivo para los cafés y el agua. Estábamos esperando que nos entregaran nuestros cafés y el chico nos dio un pedazo de pastel para compartir gratis. Pensé que era un buen gesto. El lugar interior no es grande, tiene más espacios para sentarse afuera. El baño estaba limpio El lugar es muy antiguo, lo que disfruté fue como en 1800 o en esas viejas películas

It’s the 21st century. You’re a restaurant on a popular street in zone 1 and you don’t have card machines. Had to walk to find an ATM. Highly annoyed.

Het is niet groot maat het ademt wel de heerlijke sfeer uit van een oude apotheek. Daarnaast serveren ze onder meer heerlijke koffie, thee en pies.

Piccolo locale appena fuori da Victoria Station, a due passi dalla scuola di inglese da me frequentata, per una settimana è stato il mio appuntamento della mattina. Te e paste, molto buone, prezzi leggermente più basso dei locali della zona. Personale cordiale, sembra un bar dal sapore antico rispetto alle grandi catene che si trovano ovunque a Londra. Non metto il punteggio massimo perché non accettano carte di credito

A really nice little gem of a place nearby Victoria station Cash only which seems to have shocked some reviewers I thought prices for a non chain cafe ok And smiley staff

Entramos 8 de sopetón y el tipo se asustó algo. Nos acomodó de buen grado. Es una antigua farmacia muy acogedora. El desayuno es abundante, bueno, variado y son muy amables. Caro, como todo en Londres. Volveremos

Quite inconspicuously tucked in this busy district is this quaint little cafe that serves breakfast all day! Great location and easy to find. Food was served fast and I had the big breakfast with mushrooms, sausages, scrambled eggs and toast though you’ve to ask for the butter. Nice old original interior deco which makes the place like a time travelled destination! They’ve outdoor seating as well as indoor and WiFi too. Desert cakes option looks amazing by the way and I had the fruit mix smoothie. Very Parisian feel. Can pay after you finished your meal.

Visited here this morning on our way to train station, to go back up north. Friendly staff and excellent coffee and very well presented and tasty breakfast. All very good quality ingredients....would recommend a visit

My friend comes here very often and they know her very well so she finally brought me and everyone here is lovely and I had the most amazing pecan pie with ice cream for a reasonable price so if you are in Victoria you should definitely come and visit

Thought this place looked lovely from the outside & a nice change from chain cafes. Was bit pricey, £3.50 cappuccino, £5.50 for a smoothie. The cappuccino was small, afew mouthful & my partner said it wasn't great. Really disappointed with the smoothie, I expected it would be fresh for the price but was from a carton & not a very big glass. We paid less yesterday for 2 drinks & 2 cakes!. The place quaint & quiet but that is the best thing.

Relaxing atmosphere, tucked away from all those busy places. Coffee is well made and tastes perfect! my caffeine fix in the morning i cannot miss!

Was there with three colleagues to have a light lunch. The smoked chicken avocado salad is nice, the atmosphere ok. Just unbelievable no credit cards accepted. Nowadays maybe this should be put in writing at the front door...

Food was ok. Latte was not so great. Shocked when I went to pay and was told they don’t accept credit cards.

The food was good and coffee was okay, but the service wasn't all too nice. And inside, it looks alright, too!

Some of the reviews below do not bear scrutiny: the cafe is clean and tidy and the service is friendly and efficient. The menu is somewhat limited but we enjoyed lentil soup and scrambled eggs. The coffee was rather good. The toilet is down some...

Had to remind the waitresses of our order 3 times.. Waited 15 minutes for really poor tasting coffee

Stopped here for coffee which was superb. Great surrounding being an old pharmacy. Didn’t eat but would highly recommend the coffee.

It would be a very cute cafe if it wasn’t because of the smell and the dirtiness. Three waitresses standing and chatting instead of keeping the place nice and tidy. On top of everything it’s overpriced. Also they don’t take card. We won’t be going...

One coffee with milk and a slice of pecan pie: £9.00. There was no price on the cakes so I fell for it. I believe this is truly extortionate!!! It wasn’t even that nice/ fresh.
