Cafe Croyde Bay in North Devon

Such a beautiful café, lovely spot surrounded by the sea and beach, staff are super welcoming and friendly, food is cooked to quality and really flavoursome. I was served by a girl called Eva who just made the experience amazing,she was super friendly and accommodating, made a delicious coffee and served with a bright smile! Really recommend trying this place out it’s perfect for a stop in if you’re on a walk or or if you’re staying in the area and need a place to eat x

One of my favourite cafes to visit after a beach walk or National Trust Baggy point loop. Trendy, surfy and relaxing with good coffee. Sit outside with a blanket watching the waves and the surfers.

This cafe is a hidden gem ❤️ we always love coming here ! The food is glorious with the best veggie sausages EVER , the staff are lovely and friendly and very accommodating… such a chilled vibe in the cafe whether you’re sitting inside or out and the views outside are spectacular. We’ve visited here nearly every day on our holiday and will keep coming back!

This spot is a perfect location next to Croyde Beach and the coastal path. I popped in for some lunch and coffee after a coastal run. The staff were super lovely and the coffee was top tier. This was my first time to the cafe and I would really recommend!

So we went for breakfast last Wednesday (12th) and loved it. Lovely staff, super breakfast and great relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We liked it so much we went again on Friday. Completely different experience. Front of house staff member was saying all the right words but with a total lack of sincerity. They were happy to swap my fried egg to scrambled on Wednesday but refused on Friday saying they don't deviate from the menu when I explained gently that it hadn't been a problem on Wednesday she checked with the kitchen who said no but would swap my egg for a hash brown which was fine. The kitchen staff were I would say unprofessionally noisy on Friday with poor singing and inappropriately raucous laughter. I like to have fun at work but there are levels of appropriateness! I literally put the last mouthful of my breakfast in my mouth and before I could start chewing our plates were swept away leaving my half drunk drink but leaving my husband who had finished his drink with a bare table in front of him making both of us feeling uncomfortable and like they just wanted their customers to eat and then leave ASAP! For context we were sat outside where at least 20 seats were available. There were no more than 10 customers including us in the whole place. Such a shame as we would think carefully about returning now. 5 out of 5 for Wednesday. 1 out of 5 for Friday purely because of how we were made to feel. The atmosphere on Friday was the complete opposite - officious, tense and insincere. Please try to find a way to get consistency in experience - it's so important.

Loved our first visit to the cafe this weekend, such a lovely chilled out place. We had a couple of beers each and some Loaded Fries which were delicious and a very generous portion! The view just tops all this off brilliantly. You guys should be proud! 👌🏼

Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Outdoor seating for good weather with views over Croyde beach. Indoor seating for any weather. We lovely stopping here for a cuppa either before or after a walk round Baggy point or if we are out for a bike ride.

Lovely cafe located just past the National Trust Baggy Point car park. Tables outside and inside, quite small but didn’t have to wait long for a table to come free. Good menu, plenty of choice and not too pricey.

Lovely place to come and have breakfast with a beautiful view of the sea😍 Staff are so friendly and clean the tables so quick so there always tidy for when you first walk in. Would recommend to everyone.

We visited here in June 2023 and returned in October 2023 . The Cafe is definitely worth a visit if you’re staying in Croyde or visiting for the day. Car Park National trust Baggy point, short walk up hill. The food is excellent!! Staff are so friendly and look after you! Dog friendly. We have been for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
