Food never arrived and didn’t get a refund. I got the blame from the store owner with no apology. Waited over 2 hours for nothing. I don’t recommend.

Extremely late, took 2 hours to come! This then made me late for other plans I had. The food (brown stew, ackee & saltfish) is nice, the festival is tough doesn't seem fresh. When I rang up to discuss my order the person I spoke to barely let me speak then said the order was on the way and put the phone down. The man who dropped off the order was nice & apologised for being late, but blamed it on traffic which doesn't excuse the order taking 2 hours to come when it said 35-50mins - that is very late. Wouldn't order from here again because it takes far too long to come and bad communication.

Order never showed. I had to ring them to be told that he rang me saying to say they couldn't fulfil the order..they didn't ring at all shocking service. liars. should of read reviews first.

This is Bristols best hidden gem always the most amazing food the goat curry is simply the best 👌 jerk chicken cannot be beaten I dare you to try it and if you do you won’t regret it authentic Jamaican food at its best 👌🔥

Got the goat curry and the jerk chicken for takeaway, was quick, affordable and some of the nicest food I've had in a long time. Chill vibes and friendly staff too. Couldn't be happier!

Me and my partner were not satisfied with the food at all I ordered brown stew chicken and curried chicken both of them were extremely watery and tasteless. We ordered large but was not a reasonable amount at all. The chicken in the brown stew chicken had alot of fatty bits and was like eating tasteless gravy and rice. We've eaten here many times but inside and never had a problem. First time getting it delivered and will be the last. My partner said whichever cook was in the kitchen tonight can not cook

Food was not great.. arrived on time but was items missing. The plantain was stone cold and The fried chicken came in a sauce which was very bitter and also made the fried chicken very soggy. The curry goat was very watery and didn’t have a lot of taste. And the dumplings were rock solid I couldn’t bite through it. Over all wasn’t pleased with the food and most of it went in the bin. Sorry to say but I won’t be buying from here again.

Barista is excellent! Super friendly and coffee is one of the best in Berkeley in my opinion. Nice selection of coffee varieties. Outdoor seating available and dog friendly.

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE, I ORDERED AT 715PM AND AT 915 IT HADNT ARRIVED. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT SEVERAL TIMES AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS ON THE WAY, BAD TRAFFIC, BAD WEATHER BLA BLA BLA. IVE WAITED AND WAITED AND WITHOUT ANY FOOD......IVE JUST HAD A NOTIFICATION SAYING 'YOUR FOOD HAS BEEN DELIVERED' IVE NOT RECEIVED ANY FOOD, THIS IS AWEFUL SERVICE, CANT BELIEVE IT!!! : (((

Have to leave home to go to work now. Was supposed to be my dinner. JUSTEAT refund me please as I am no longer at home to take the delivery. I ordered with plenty of time to spare however it has taken so long I can't be late for work

This was the worst takeaway ever, how are they still in business. Flat fried dumplings, dry fish and no flavour on rice £17, would've been better to eat dry bread. Fix up café conscious. Never buying from there again.

I am still sitting in Conscious Cafe. We came for a lunch. My husband had vegetarian quiche with salad and I had superfood salad. Throughout the meal we continually praised the delicious choices we had made. The other diners food looks very tasty too. There is art for sale on the walls and good music too is playing. We are delighted to have chosen Conscious Organic Cafe with its welcoming vibe.

It was even later than the delayed estimate! Delivery took 36 minutes to travel 2 miles!

Brown stew chicken is a bit tasteless

Been waiting for 2 hours, food didn’t even arrive but was put down as delivered. Tried to ring the restaurant quite a few times but no answer.

Lovely food & prompt delivery. Driver was really polite. I will definitely be ordering again.. which is why I gave 5 stars on all.

Delivery came early and food was well hot….the curry goat was well cooked but I’ve tasted better curry. I could of tasted the freshness in the Rice and peas so I know the food is fresh 😍 Reasonable price and I will order again.

So we live literally 3 minutes from the restaurant lazy of us I know but we wanted a delivery, it was 20 minutes late and food (which is normally good) was cold and not very nice. Unlikely to give the restaurant another chance.

Order delivery time was 7.15 pm. Text arrived at 7p.m. saying food was on its way. Food arrived at 7.25, barely lukewarm with the curried goat floating in grease that came 2/3 of the way up the sides of the plastic boxes it was in. The 'coleslaw' portion was tiny and while it was a creamy white in colour, the texture was more like humus. Wouldn't bother again.

Had the soya veggie curry, wasn't tasty. Very plain and boring. My friend enjoyed her brown stew chicken, but said the rice n peas weren't up to much, and I have to agree. Dumpling very hard and dry. Bit more spice and it would have been fine.

Previously have really enjoyed the food and had good service, but this is the second time I’ve been let down. Changing the delivery time after ordering to an hour and a half, and then it turns up over 40 minutes after that. Waiting for over two hours for my food means I’m unlikely to order from here again.

Ordered at 7:20 pm, arrived at 10:00 pm. On the app changed status to delivered at 08:50pm even though they did not deliver for another hour.

I wish I could give this service a 0. This website says they are closed but they are still very much open. We ordered our food at 7pm. Every half an hour we rang and they promised us the food was on the way. By 10pm I rang again and he said he ‘wouldn’t lie’ and that the food is definitely on the way. By 11pm completely starving we gave up and ordered from somewhere else. 4 hours we waited for this food. Absolutely shocking service. Being lied to about our food arriving when it never was at all. Worst service I’ve ever had.

Food was good but it arrived almost an hour late and 2 hours after we had ordered. The restaurant seemed irritated by us ringing up to find out where the food was after it being 45 minutes late.

Long time for delivery. Phoned up to chase it two hours after ordering Blamed the delivery team (Uber). Questioned the driver who refuted this. Food turned up cold and pretty blandm not great experience m sure it was only a one off though

Restaurant called after an hour of placing my order saying they ran out of Ackee & Saltfish so I asked them to send the rest of the food and take the Ackee & Saltfish off the bill waited over another hour not heard anything so called the restaurant and they told me the whole order was cancelled they asked if I still wanted it I said no as I have waited long enough and I have still not got my refund. Never ordering from this place again.

Food was over an hour late, so late the restaurant had closed long before the delivery came so when I was trying to call there was no answer. Eventually after waiting over two hours for the food I went to a kebab shop, at which point the delivery finally turned up. Didn’t eat the food as I had by then paid for another meal. Delivery man was VERY rude about how long I had been waitin and the receptionist at the restaurant didn’t seem to care that I had been waiting so long and told me to wait another 20 mins whilst laughing when I called the first time. NEVER GO HERE!

8.35pm was promised delivery time. Hadn't arrived by 9, tried to call restaurant repeatedly, said mailbox was full. Messaged Just Eat, and food arrived while on chat at 9.15pm. Food excellent however.

Food needed to be reheated because it was late. Was mostly very nice but about a quarter of the dumpling was completely solid and inedible. Enjoyed the rest of the food.

Food was amazing and worth waiting for - but although the order initially said food would be delivered for 9pm I got a text through saying the food was on it's way at 8.10. It eventually turned up at 9.40. When we called, the staff were helpful, but it took much longer than I think even they expected to deliver. Other than that I cannot fault them and the food has been lovely this time and every previous time we have ordered.

The order took a lot longer than stated on JustEat at the time of booking. When in arrived, the food was luke warm (actually stone cold by the end of the meal) and the chicken was quite dry. Really disappointed as the last meal we had was nice but really wasn’t impressed this time.

I didn't quite get what I ordered, I was missing a main dish but got 3 extra portions of rice, which are Tupperware tubs not 'pots' as advertised so even if I had received the correct amount it was still a huge portion. Also delivery was 20 mins later than it said on the update. other than that the food I got was delicious and full of flavour.
