A hidden gem 💎 great value for money and amazing coffee and food. The milkshakes were a particular hit with the kids with such a huge variety of flavours. Cleanliness and presentation was 5 stars all round and staff were all really lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be back again!

A very pleasant and quiet cafe well tucked away. Only £1.95 for any hot drink between 0930 to 1000 hours and between 1500 to 1630 hours. Hot chocolate made by friendly staff called Lira is excellent.

Overpriced in my opinion. A small cheese and ham toasted sandwich with no side salad or crisps and slice of cake costing £8. This place used to be very good and offered delicious food which was fairly priced.

Nice little shabby-chic style Cafe. Friendly and welcoming... but more important than any of that, aside from a lovely decaf cappuccino I got a GLUTEN FREE toastie. I chose cheese and bacon, and it was lovely. My fellow Gluten-free people will understand the significance of being able to eat something other than a brownie during a visit to town. I could've hugged the guy who told me "We always have gluten free bread here", but that's not really appropriate, especially during a pandemic! 😊 They also sell jacket potatoes. This will now be my essential 'go to' when I'm in town.

Popping into Northampton for a socially-distanced potter around after months denied the opportunity to casually gaze and graze, Cafe Coco was a handy port in a storm before getting back in the motor nearby. Very clean and tidy, well-spaced tables and well-organised but not intrusive post-lockdown hygiene processes, good coffee and a surprisingly moreish cheese and marmite toastie which we only ordered because it was there. The sandwich menu is nicely judged with flat rate prices, and the kiddy sandwich offer is a real bargain and a good idea. Staff were full of smiles, one to remember for the next time we are in town.

Visited with my sister. Ordered a cheese toastie £4.10 but it said it came with crisps and a side salad. Whilst waiting for our order I observed the young girl on her phone then touching her hair, very unhygienic. The food was delivered , what a disappointment. The toastie came out very crispy, side salad was chopped up iceberg, cucumber and tomato which looked like it had been in the fridge for several days and small handful of crisps. The cafe itself looked like it needed a good clean !

We use Cafe Coco regularly since we came across this little gem one Sunday several years ago. Best Apple Pie i have ever tasted and it got to the point the staff knew our order before we had even asked. Staff always friendly, place is always clean, portions of everything on the menu are generous and it is our favourite place to go to eat when shopping in the town and if there is one thing we really love, it is a good Cafe.

This is hands-down my favourite coffee shop in the UK. Everything is so gorgeous and it’s recently been refurbished. The food is to die for every single time - it’s the real, lovingly crafted food that you’d expect from a family business. I always mix it up, but whether I go for jacket potatoes, baguettes, toasties, the fillings are always exciting and delicious. Choosing is the worst bit! Don’t even get me started on the drinks - it’s proper coffee but they do so many varieties and fun twists. And their milkshakes are just wow!I’ll be back ... again, and again, and again ... thank you Cafe Coco, the only place I’d go in Northampton!

First time we went to this lovely cafe we loved it, the decor is cute, and it has a nice atmosphere, whoever, i have to point out, that second time around i asked for a jacket potato, it was delicious, but the jacket potato had sprouts all over, some people say its not good to eat a sprouted potato, im not a picky eater, so i just cut the parts aside, but the salad was also wilted, looked like it was a made a few hours ago. We went in late afternoon, but shoulnd be an excuse for being served that. Regardless if you go for the cakes, and milkshakes you wont be disappointed.

My friend had apple pie and ice cream which looked yummy. I love their mini cinnamon buns.Lots of seating on ground floor and seating outside. Very fast and attentive service. My only issue was the not very nice one shared loo which made a shocking loud noise when flushed - was not sure if it was going to explode, so was quite disconcerting. You have been warned.

I visited the cafe earlier this afternoon and I was very surprised at how lovely it was. I loved the decor and it is very individual compared to other places in the town. Tables were cleaned regularly which is always a good sign. In my opinion there are a wide selection of choices on the menu such as sandwiches, toasties, baguettes and jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings. The drinks were brought over first of all and the tea was served in a very cute teapot. The food was brought over not long after and was also on very unique plates. My jacket potato had a salad garnish and the sandwich for my mother had ready salted crisps which were lovely additions. We both enjoyed our meals and couldn’t complain at all.I would recommend this to others and will definitely return again.

This place is super cute. And I definitely recommend popping in for a coffee. The reason I don't rate it that highly is because the food isn't anything special. The soup isn't homemade it's just bought in and microwaved. This doesn't make it awful it just means it isn't that homely or special.Go for the cute decor, the friendly staff, a nice coffee and a piece of cake.

I was so impressed with this little Cafe and the amazing atmosphere, I visited it on the 10th of December and spoke to the two lovely young men in charge and explained I was going to surprise my daughter by taking her for a cream tea as that is her favourite treat, I asked would It be possible to book a specific table and decorate It with sequins and some helium balloons which they were very happy with, and they would set the table for my daughter when she arrived from University. On our arrival the table was beautifully set with a lovely vintage tea set and all the decorations had been set up so she was both embarrassed and very surprised, which was the effect I was trying to achieve! The sandwiches, scones and tea were amazing and I cannot praise the staff or the atmosphere of this tiny little hidden gem in Northampton enough! Also if anyone is thinking of organizing a surprise can I highly recommend the lovely lady a few doors down from the card shop, who has a coffee every day from this charming little cafe, and kindly agreed to deliver the helium balloons for my daughter once she had sat down to tea, which created another cute and embarrassing moment for her!We will definitely be back every time we visit Northampton!

WE faced a long drive home and dropped in to Cafe Coca with three friends for a snack meal to refuel. The cafe is sited in a walk through thoroughfare between the Square's large car park and Gold Street.Among items we bought were toast, a jacket potato, two different types of sandwiches and half a dozen teas and coffees. All of them hit the spot, all of them were well presented from nice salad garnish with the sandwiches to a free chocolate chip cookie with every tea and coffee.Tables were clean as a whistle, the toilet was very well appointed indeed, friendly staff welcomed us with smiles and brought everything to us at our table and there was a relaxed atmosphere the whole time we were there with gentle conversation giving a little buzz to the place. One of our number was disabled and had no trouble negotiating their way round the eating area. The bill was way below what we might have expected and was definitely value for money. We now intend to use this cafe again when next we are in Northampton.

Attentive friendly staff and a nice atmosphere made this cafe a good place to go. Delightfully made hot drinks were accompanied by poor quality ingredients food wise. Possibly the cheapest wafer thin ham I have ever seen served in Kingsmill bread with cheap Iceland milk to make the drinks. The presentation was nice but this cafe needs to serve better quality ingredients to match the prices they charge. The sausages were mushy and low quality. Staff pleasant and efficient, if only they used better suppliers! Shame.

I bought a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea for two for this place, I'd walked past it in town several times, but never been in, so this was a good buy to try it.The cafe itself is quite petite, but has a lot of tables. Could feel abit tight if it was busy, but it wasn't too bad when we visited. There is seating outside also. The decor is lovely. Very cute with a country feel. Loved it! Hubby and myself had the afternoon tea, and I bought a sandwich for my daughter. She was pleased as it came with salad and crisps! Us grown ups both had baguettes, and homemade carrot cake. Both baguettes were full of filling, again with a side salad and crisps. Cake was delish! Although I only bought the sandwich on our visit I did look at all the other prices and they looked very reasonable. All food is freshly made, nice warm baguettes. Lovely tea and a latte. Cakes where chocolate chip shortbread, we chose them from a good choice.....so nice we brought some more for home.I purchased a groupon voucher as had never been here before, I would have paid full price. We weren't even going to stop for refreshment but our 'quick nip in to Northampton' in search a birthday present for our four year old brought us from Toys'R'us to Argos at St Peter's Square. "Shall we stop for a Mocha?" I suggested and around the corner we went! How could you pass Cafe Coco and not go in? The decor is quaint, unique and quintessentially English, refreshingly decorated with a fantastic selection of fillings for you to put in toasties, ciabatta, wraps and paninis. Not to mention some fantastic cakes!WIth one eye on the cakes I chose a Sweet & Sour Chicken wrap with salad whilst my wife went for the Peri Peri Chicken Ciabatta. Her tea was presented on a twee tray in a teapot with the cutest of pots to pour the milk from. I had the Mocha which was really nice.We couldn't help but order the Lemon Cake (me) and warmed Chocolate Cake with Cream (she) which we were meant to share (half and half) however I only got two bites of the warmed Chocolate Cake with cream ~ shan't agree to that again! We look forward to being able to find a reason to return to Cafe Coco. I know my wife has already arranged return visits with her Mother and a on other occasions her friends. Can't recommend this place enough!Cafe Coco (from what I recall) opens Monday to Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm and on Sundays 9.00am-10.30am then 4.00pm-5.30pm.
