Cafe Boheme York in York

One of my favourite pubs in York. Excellent choice of beers. Am yet to sample the food but it sounds great.

Husband enjoyed xhilli his but I felt that although the portion size was good/big, the meal itself (lasagne, garlic bread, chips, salad) was very obviously 'pre prepared' and whilst I am no connoisseur I was disappointed

Had special biryana lamb very tough sauce good rice good starters again lamb tough chapatis were very rubbery and the service charge is not justified nor optional.

Went to Cote for dinner today with my family and it took them 1 h 20 to bring us our food and then when food came, it was very average. I had a chicken dish which was cooked so much it was tough to cut and came with reheated roasted potatoes. A few of the group had steaks which were chewy and came with very sad dry green leaves. All very disappointing.
