Service and historial building are the only things worth it… the bar set is lame, limited -only small cans of coke and no redbull- ticketmaster was overwhelmed and didn’t show the tickets, they sell seats were is barely impossible to see anything…. and awkward and endless NGO campaigns taking ages before the show killing the vibe.

The **Royal Albert Hall** is one of London's most iconic and prestigious concert venues, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich history. Located in **Kensington**, it was opened in **1871** and named in honor of **Prince Albert**, the consort of Queen Victoria, who envisioned the hall as a place for promoting the arts and culture. The hall’s design is a striking example of **Victorian architecture**, with a massive, domed roof and a seating capacity of around 5,000. The building is famous for its **elliptical shape** and **acoustic excellence**, making it a popular venue for a wide variety of events, including **classical music concerts**, **rock and pop performances**, **ballet**, **opera**, **awards ceremonies**, and even **cinema screenings**. One of the most famous events held at the Royal Albert Hall is the **BBC Proms**, an annual summer season of classical music concerts. The venue is also home to the **Royal College of Music** and has hosted numerous **world-class musicians**, **composers**, and **performers** over its long history. Beyond music, the hall is a cultural landmark and a symbol of Britain's dedication to the arts. Visitors to the Royal Albert Hall can explore its rich history through guided tours or experience its stunning acoustics and atmosphere by attending a concert. It remains one of the most visited and beloved cultural venues in London.

Beautiful venue to see film gala/any classical concert.Drinks are very expensive /a lot of mobile phone filming during concert which was distracting and concerns raised at interval with stewards.late comers let in half way through musical pieces -which again was distracting and slightly spoiled the moment. Feedback given to RAH. Will visit again though despite the above however vouchers for drinks /money off future tickets would have been welcomed given the issues we had.

I was there specifically for the Wardruna concert. I picked up my ticket at the box office and the employees there were just super nice and accommodating and the security had a wonderful sense of humor. In the hall itself - the staff was wonderful, super nice, approachable and the security was just great. It was the first time that you took the time to introduce yourself to the front rows along with the names of the people in the crew - it immediately gives you a feeling of being "together" instead of "against each other". When it got warmer, we got water straight away and just felt completely welcome and safe. There's nothing to say about the sound and atmosphere - just bombastic. Sound-wise it's a dream, I've visited a lot of venues but none have come close to this sound (maybe it's largely due to the band's sound technician). Great evening all around, and as soon as the band plays here again (I hope so!), I'll definitely be there.

Magical Night at the Royal Albert Hall: Dance Music Meets Orchestra Visiting the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time was nothing short of amazing. While it might raise eyebrows among traditionalists, I’m convinced that this iconic venue has always embraced boundary-pushing performances throughout its history — and this night was no exception. To attend with my son, sharing one of my favourite music genres, and to hear deep, heavy basslines paired with the soaring power of a full orchestra was an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by thousands of like-minded individuals — all regaining a sense of their youth while standing shoulder to shoulder with the next generation of music lovers — was a true joy. This was Fabio & Grooverider at their absolute finest, commanding the stage with their signature energy, joined by incredible guest artists who each added something special to the night. It was a seamless fusion of past and present, beats and strings, rave culture and classical grandeur. This wasn’t just a concert; it was a celebration of how far dance music has come. It brought back vivid memories of the 90s rave and dance events held in music halls up and down the country. That same spirit of euphoria and unity filled the space, proving once again that great music knows no age limits. To say it was magical and inspiring feels like an understatement. I sincerely hope this won’t be a one-off — because nights like this are a reminder of the power of music to connect generations. More of this, please.

My first visit here, first impressions are stunning. It's beautiful inside and out with a fantastically decorated bar. The staff inside the venue were some of the happiest looking people I've seen, really friendly and polite. However that's where it ends for me, the sound at the Wardruna show was horrific, its was like someone put an amplifier in the middle of an empty warehouse. If you're visiting for a musical performance, give it a miss. It seems to be that circular venues have a habit of sounding poor, I've been to a few, and always left unimpressed. This one no exception sadly.

Our spend included cocktails at the bar and wine with dinner for 2. The Vesper cocktail that I had was perfect. Our table had a great view overlooking the rooftops and we could see many of the sights of London. We shared crispy olives as a starter with bread. The olives were out of this world delicious. For mains we both had hake, French fries and broccoli with garlic and chilli. Everything was fantastic, hot, tasty and fresh. The shared rhubarb dessert accompanied by excellent shortbread was a perfect way to end our meal. A restaurant that we will definitely return to.

Not the wine bar but the secret Crypt at Fortnum & Mason: A Private Dining Experience Worth Its Weight in Gold Leaf There are certain dining experiences that stick with you—not just for the food or the service, but for the sheer sense of occasion. The Crypt at Fortnum & Mason is one of them. If you’re looking for something a little more special than the usual hushed fine dining or predictable steak-and-claret affair, this is it. It’s intimate, exclusive, and ever so slightly surreal. Firstly, getting there is part of the magic. You’re led—quite ceremoniously—through the famous Fortnum & Mason shop, past the well-heeled shoppers fondling tins of truffled almonds and debating whether their loose-leaf oolong should be single estate. Then, at the back of the wine department, through an inconspicuous doorway, you descend into another world. The Crypt itself is pure old-school charm: all dim lighting, wine bottles lining the walls, heavy wooden tables, and grand old paintings that make you feel like Henry VIII might pop by for a goblet of something robust. It’s the kind of place where whispered conspiracies seem likely, but instead, we were there to celebrate a good friend’s 50th—eight of us, tucked away with our own playlist, our own space, and absolutely no need to worry about disturbing anyone else. And then there’s the food. This isn’t a set menu affair, but a carefully handpicked selection—tailored, considered, personal. Each course arrived with the kind of effortless grace that only the best service teams can deliver: attentive but never intrusive, knowledgeable but never patronising. Wines were paired with precision, reinforcing Fortnum’s reputation as the grand old dame of London’s luxury food scene. Three glorious hours passed in a haze of good conversation, clinking glasses, and that rare sense of truly unhurried dining. But the pièce de résistance? At the end of the night, we were escorted through the now-empty shop, past the glittering counters and silent shelves, like something out of Night at the Museum. It was a little bit magical, a little bit cinematic, and entirely unforgettable. Yes, it’s expensive. But then, some things should be. If you’re looking to truly spoil someone—or just remind yourself what dining should feel like—The Crypt is as special as they come.
