Cafe Bar at The Royal Albert Hall in City of London, Westminster

Service and historial building are the only things worth it… the bar set is lame, limited -only small cans of coke and no redbull- ticketmaster was overwhelmed and didn’t show the tickets, they sell seats were is barely impossible to see anything…. and awkward and endless NGO campaigns taking ages before the show killing the vibe.

Went here for a live performance and it was the best I've experienced. The acoustics and seating options are provide the best experience.

Beautiful venue to see film gala/any classical concert.Drinks are very expensive /a lot of mobile phone filming during concert which was distracting and concerns raised at interval with stewards.late comers let in half way through musical pieces -which again was distracting and slightly spoiled the moment. Feedback given to RAH. Will visit again though despite the above however vouchers for drinks /money off future tickets would have been welcomed given the issues we had.

Stunning venue. Staff were good, friendly and helpful. Drinks reasonably priced depending on what you have. Well worth a visit.

Teenage Cancer Trust event. Sex Pistols ft. Frank Carter. Fantastic gig. Great venue (as always). Staff were fantastic. Food and drink prices were high but quality was excellent. Seated in the upper (Rausing) circle, U5. Got extremely warm during the event and seats a little narrow. Great view however.

Stunning architecture all around. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Watching my first concert here will forever be a memory to cherish! Drinks are severely overpriced, I would say, "It's London prices," but that seems to me to be an understatement. A great experience overall.

Absolutely beautiful place outside and inside I was blown away. Seats really comfy and space to sit. Really friendly helpful staff really clean few places to get drinks so not a long wait. Would definitely recommend if you haven't been here before. Great evening

I was there specifically for the Wardruna concert. I picked up my ticket at the box office and the employees there were just super nice and accommodating and the security had a wonderful sense of humor. In the hall itself - the staff was wonderful, super nice, approachable and the security was just great. It was the first time that you took the time to introduce yourself to the front rows along with the names of the people in the crew - it immediately gives you a feeling of being "together" instead of "against each other". When it got warmer, we got water straight away and just felt completely welcome and safe. There's nothing to say about the sound and atmosphere - just bombastic. Sound-wise it's a dream, I've visited a lot of venues but none have come close to this sound (maybe it's largely due to the band's sound technician). Great evening all around, and as soon as the band plays here again (I hope so!), I'll definitely be there.

Amazing place, beautiful architecture. Also run very well, lots of entrances, exits and bars. Pretty much no que's.

Pistols gig last night. Staff were fantastic. My wrist band fell off while in the bar but they escorted me to box office and they found my ticket purchase and all was good.

How on earth has it taken me 60+ years to attend the RAH!! Spectacular evening of the massed bands of the Royal Marines. Staff, food and drinks, all great (usual outrageous prices!) it won't be long before I'm back.

First time visit to this amazing venue. Saw music from the movies concert with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, absolutely stunning. Family outing and we booked a box to add to the special occasion. Relaxed venue and huge variety of artists. Super easy to get to with buses stopping right outside.

First visit on 19.3 25 for Wardruna. Wasn't disappointed, what a night. Always thought it would be bigger than it actually is, but that didn't put us off. A very good mix of people. Staff are on the ball if anyone gets a little too over the limit. The only downside, the bar prices...way overpriced.

This was Fabio & Grooverider at their absolute finest, commanding the stage with their signature energy, joined by incredible guest artists who each added something special to the night. It was a seamless fusion of past and present, beats and strings, rave culture and classical grandeur. This wasn’t just a concert; it was a celebration of how far dance music has come. It brought back vivid memories of the 90s rave and dance events held in music halls up and down the country. That same spirit of euphoria and unity filled the space, proving once again that great music knows no age limits. To say it was magical and inspiring feels like an understatement. I sincerely hope this won’t be a one-off — because nights like this are a reminder of the power of music to connect generations. More of this, please.

One of the best venues in the world, every time amazing experience. But if you want to buy drinks they're little bit steep nealry 20£ for glass of wine or 50£for the bottle..

Beautiful and iconic venue. A privilege to be able to finally see a performance there. The sound is sublime as you'd expect. Seating is pretty cramped and they really could do with expanding their drink offerings. But will look forward to my next gig here.

i haven't been to this venue for a number of years. i'd forgotten how impressive it is. they had a number of different events going on, including a story time session with mother's and small babies. there was also a new exhibition being hung, to help raise money for a cancer charity. take a look on their website for coming event days, as well as forthcoming live concerts. very much looking forward to seeing my work displayed there this coming june.

Watching Wardruna (with support of Jo Quail) was an experience Ill remember forever

My first visit here, first impressions are stunning. It's beautiful inside and out with a fantastically decorated bar. The staff inside the venue were some of the happiest looking people I've seen, really friendly and polite. However that's where it ends for me, the sound at the Wardruna show was horrific, its was like someone put an amplifier in the middle of an empty warehouse. If you're visiting for a musical performance, give it a miss. It seems to be that circular venues have a habit of sounding poor, I've been to a few, and always left unimpressed. This one no exception sadly.

Royal Albert Hall s such a beautiful hall/building and worth going to watch a performance as the acoustics are good too.

Went to see The Brand New Heavies for an evening of Acid Jazz, thoroughly enjoyed the experience from the Choir seats. Loved every minute. Great Atmosphere, great venue, great music. No complaints. Large crowds in the bars though...

Attended Alec Benjamin’s concert on Sunday 16th and had a great time. The venue is truly beautiful and sound quality really good. Staff were nice and always happy to help when needed. Would definitely come back for another show.

Unfortunately this experience 'The Film Music Gala 2025' was not as good as previous visits. Our seats were temporary ones in the middle of the hall, that are uncomfortable & the route to them by tunnel was not properly signed. The music would have been enhanced by visual clips from the films. Champagne by the glass is costly no Prosecco!

A circular place that makes culture and the arts a perpetual renewal. Splendid place with unforgettable acoustics and spectacular scenography. To see as much as the surrounding museums!

Went to the film music gala and it was incredible. One of the things that really helped sat in the stalls were the chairs turn so being side on to the stage you're not hurting your neck We had dinner in the garden bar first which is stunning nestled in the basement. The staff were friendly and attentive and its one of the more fair priced eating venues in the building Only down side is some people seemed to have programmes but we didnt see at any point the chance to buy one would be great if they offered them in the eating venues before a show

Celebrating together the 60th anniversary of Redbridge Borough at the Royal Albert Hall choral festival. The atmosphere was epic, and extraordinary young musicians shared their talents. Our future stars performed westend quality contemporary and classical music pieces.

Here for the Alec Benjamin concert...while the kids are in the concert...hubby and I are sat in the cafe having to listen to the staff swear and shout...very unprofessional and not what I would expect at all

Barbie the movie in concert! It was amazing we loved every minute of it. The movie is obviously great anyway and the fact it was a real orchestra playing the songs was just great. Would definitely recommend 10/10

I managed to get an offer from TodayTix on tickets to Cirque du Soleil. The seats were in the choir area and were a restricted view but were a fraction of the high face value. While you are waiting for the show, there is lots of information you can read about the venue.

Every concert is a different experience and a different pleasure. The priceless point where history and art meet.

I loved to go to the Royal A.H. but I was deeply disappointed by the dirtiness especially when I went last Thursday. Very sad to see such an historical and beautiful place left so dirty...it really deserves much more..it was deeply disappointing considering the price as well we have been willing to pay..

Not the venue it used to be. Pretty grubby- looking. Glass in the doors look as if they haven't been cleaned in ages. In the auditorium popcorn and various bits of food all over the place. Keep comparing venues here to Japanese ones. Silly really. UK is now a dirty cesspit.
