I went to see Sleeping At Last with the London Contemporary Orchestra and frankly it was in-credible, the venue is magnificent, the acoustics are incredible, a small downside is the space between the seats, but hey, in 1870 they were all 1.50m tall, you can't blame them for not having anticipated. In short, I was really happy to have been in this legendary venue for a few hours. I was going to say go for it without hesitation, but hey, who would hesitate...

I've been to the Hall many times and it's always a great experience, no matter where you're sitting (or standing!). My last visit was for Anna Lapwood's concert in May, gallery standing: an absolutely fantastic evening of music that and even some misbehaving speakers didn't manage to ruin. The lighting was also on point.

We went to the Daryl Hall and Glen Tilbrook concert earlier this week. The venue can only be described as magnificent, especially given the Albert Memorial opposite and the surrounding area of posh Kensington/Hyde Park. Our seats were in the Rousing Circle, but a little too close to the stage, so the view was at a difficult angle, but not too bad. Great performance from both singers and their amazing band, slightly let down by some technical issues with the sound. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable evening! Recommended.

The tour is only in perfect English, which seems absurd since upon entering, you're given a device to view no more than half a dozen photos when the guide feels like moving on with the presentation. Therefore, it wouldn't be so difficult to add audio in other languages, or at least a brief description for each photo. English arrogance.

Magnificent concert hall with exceptional acoustics. We went to a concert on May 12th with Gary Barlow and Brad Kella as the opening act. The house was packed, with several entrances, so it flowed smoothly and was super organized. Inside, the bars and staff throughout the venue... really great. During the concert, we had a small problem... a woman in a wheelchair behind us... at the beginning of the concert, the audience stood up throughout the venue. To avoid disturbing the person behind me, I stood on the stairs... then a very nice young man (really) asked me not to stay on the stairs because it was forbidden... I explained to him in my broken English that if I got back into my seat, the woman in the wheelchair wouldn't see the concert... he told me to wait 5 minutes and that he would find us two other seats... when he returned with two new seats, we decided not to move and we made an arrangement with the women behind us. The theater staff is truly attentive. The woman who was handling our entrance to the venue called out to me at the end of the concert to thank me for the attention I'd shown to the woman in the wheelchair. A fantastic venue with attentive and caring staff...a superb organization.
