Great music venue but always so confusing to get around! Cafe food (especially for the price) not really worth it when there's so much else on the high street.

An icon of a concert venue & probably the best concert venue in the world. The acoustics are amazing, the view from whatever seat you have is fantastic and it is no surprise that artists love playing at this venue. Really helpful staff will direct you to your seat and if you fancy a drink and a bite to eat, the bars are worth a visit too. Situated at the top of 'museum alley' in South Kensington it makes for a wonderful day out in that part of the City. If you've not gone there before - go!

We really enjoyed our tour of the Royal Albert Hall when visiting London. Music is very important to our family so this was a must-do! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She gave loads of tips and highlights throughout the tour. We could not take photos inside the auditorium based on the requests of the artist performing that night, but that is okay. They are available to see online ;) We loved the tour and recommend it!

A beautiful venue but very overpriced for drinks and snacks. Seats are comfortable and in the stalls they swivel so you can get a better view/sit more comfortably. Bar service is subject to a 10% discount with Barclaycard or Barclays Premier at present. Well staffed and professionally organised. Toilets are pretty foul likely as they're so busy rather than through lack of care/maintenance. The gents only have two cubicles and a large trough that inevitably means urine all over the floor so I hate to think what is on the bottom of people's shoes walking around in there.

The staff were really friendly and organised. We had tea/soft drinks in the cafe before which had a nice atmosphere and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our tour guide Paul was brilliant, he was extremely knowledgeable and had lots of funny stories that brought the tour to life. I recommend the Good Friday concert at the Royal Albert Hall, where Handel's Messiah has been performed for 150 years, with the famous Hallelujah. Come and see a Cirque du Soleil show. It is recommended to confirm your seat first before going to the corresponding entrance, which can save a lot of time. There are bars selling drinks near different seating areas, but the snacks sold at different sales points are different. The front row seats on the second floor are a little crowded, and the guardrails are not so friendly to short people and will just block the view.

However, I found it very upsetting that the RAH is selling extremely restricted view tickets for a category A price ( seat 5 in the boxes at the rousing circle). Why? Because they can... great venue, not far from the tube station. subway tunnel is usually closed by the time the performance is over though so have to walk to the open entrance. crowds aren’t too bad when leaving and performances ended at a reasonable time so i actually had a chance to use the toilets without fearing missing the last train home. the actual venue is beautiful, great sound and atmosphere. i’ve sat up in the rausing circle and down in the stalls. the stall seats can be angled to face the centre or the stage, depending on performance which is a game changer for sufferers of back or neck pain. the view from the stalls were great and unobstructed, even from the people standing in the arena. the rausing circle seats we had however had a restricted view, this was warned before we bought the tickets, but restricted undersells it. when sitting in your seat, you can only actually see a small sliver of the stage. that show wasn’t massively visual, more of an audio experience (the christmas performance) so it wasn’t too bad, just be prepared to basically not see the stage if you are getting restricted view seats, unless you heavily lean or stand.

I went to the Oliviers yesterday and it was an amazing show. However my night was ruined by two very impolite ushers at the door (door 6). I am recovering from surgery and have multiple medical problems meaning I can’t wear a dress. This was a black tie event so obviously suit trousers and a smart sparkly top would be fine. The ushers tried to turn me away at the door saying ‘you’re a lady you need to be in a dress’ I was gobsmacked. They called over their supervisor and in the mean time one of the ushers was mocking me saying that I can’t wear dresses. Luckily the supervisor was very nice and didn’t see a problem with me coming in but honestly it made me really really upset. I have been looking forward to this event for months and that stuck with me the whole night and honestly I’m still really upset now. As an usher myself I imagine my manager would be gobsmacked to hear this kind of derogatory language being used towards guests.

The **Royal Albert Hall** is one of London's most iconic and prestigious concert venues, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich history. Located in **Kensington**, it was opened in **1871** and named in honor of **Prince Albert**, the consort of Queen Victoria, who envisioned the hall as a place for promoting the arts and culture. The hall’s design is a striking example of **Victorian architecture**, with a massive, domed roof and a seating capacity of around 5,000. The building is famous for its **elliptical shape** and **acoustic excellence**, making it a popular venue for a wide variety of events, including **classical music concerts**, **rock and pop performances**, **ballet**, **opera**, **awards ceremonies**, and even **cinema screenings**. One of the most famous events held at the Royal Albert Hall is the **BBC Proms**, an annual summer season of classical music concerts. The venue is also home to the **Royal College of Music** and has hosted numerous **world-class musicians**, **composers**, and **performers** over its long history. Beyond music, the hall is a cultural landmark and a symbol of Britain's dedication to the arts. Visitors to the Royal Albert Hall can explore its rich history through guided tours or experience its stunning acoustics and atmosphere by attending a concert. It remains one of the most visited and beloved cultural venues in London.

Located in the luxurious & posh CORINTHIA hotel. Fine dining dining at it's BEST! (Classy but Comfortable). Our start was with their champagne cart .... Their start: A Chef's amuse-bouche followed by a tasty bread service (& the BEST butter 😋 EVER!). If your choice is beef ask to be escorted & shown the chef's larder, you'll be impressed. Choices & selections vary as their cuts are carefully sourced. Our night we choose the grass fed, bone-in sirloin which came on the table pre-cut. It was extremely tender but w/ enough substance, amazingly juicy, cooked to perfection & the flavor was wonderful: a blend of fields & richness! THEN moving on the the lobster thermador. I always try this entree when I c it. "Here" it was fabulous. It was nicely seasoned w/ a perfect touch of well balanced creaminess, w/o being lost in structure. The mix was reshelled & topped with a herbs & garnish for interest. We skipped dessert bc we had other plans, but I was tempted for to try their chocolate & orange thingy. The service was quick. Only slight mistep was a cocktail ordered might have had a mixup @ the bar, that was quickly and graciously solved.
