we visited recently, great choice of cakes, the carrot cake is especially delicous. I had a mint chocolate milksake and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the kids play area is a bonus.

Having left another understaffed place because they told us of a long wait, we tried Aspire, despite its small selection of food that appealed. When we eventually got to the counter we were told that there would be a long wait for a simple sausage bap because there was only one person in the kitchen! By that time all the seats were taken so we just bought a snack at a nearby supermarket and ate at home.

I went here for a hot chocolate and found to my delight you can have cream and marshmallows for no extra cost! Divine and very reasonable, lovely packs of biscuits also. Other food seems reasonable also. Friendly service, went out of my way to go back today for same.

Lovely pies for lunch and baked potatoes you could feed an army with or if you want something sweet cakes to die for especially the orange or the toffee , or lovely light snacks cheese scones that you can taste the cheese in and huge toasted teacakes I have had the ham and cheese toasties with nice bread and good ham and plenty cheese. Or nice coffee in nice cups i don't think there is anything over £5 i visit weekly

I visited here with friends last week. The staff are very friendly and engaging and the coffee was hot fresh & tasty. The millionaires shortbread I had to go with it was gigantic, deep and appeared to be home made. Total cost under £3.50, well worth it!

I had to give this place 1 star because I can't give it 0. My daughter & I decided to eat here while shopping in Wallsend. When the assistant finished serving the person in front, she turned away and busied herself with other things. 3 staff members knew we were waiting to be served and they all ignored us. We stood for a long time waiting to be served and being totally ignored. Eventually we walked out and when I looked back the girl behind the counter just looked at me and wasn't the least bit bothered. This has to be the worst customer service EVER! Why would they ignore customers? My advice to shoppers, don't bother with this place.

Visit this pub frequently with family and live in forest hall. It’s a lovely pub and we always call in for a drink on a nice day when walking the dogs. They’re friendly and welcoming to all of us, and we always get what we want. It’s a pub, so you get what you bargain for - we normally get two pints of Stella, and large glass of wine and a fruity cider of some sort. We usually get like snacky food to share, nothing too high end. Anybody giving this pub a low rating, for honestly can’t understand why (unless they really dislike dogs). There isn’t a waiter, it’s all bar service, but it’s honestly lovely and always and the staff are always more than happy to help

If you're looking for a great place to watch the match, or just somewhere to chill after a bit of shopping, The Junction is ideal! Friendly staff and a decent location (right beside Northumberland Street and Haymarket bus station). Has TV screens up showing live racing, football etc and there is a decent selection of food and drinks.

Was good to get table service. Had ordered my meal. A bit later a friend arrived and sat with me. Stacey D, my waitress, assured me our orders would arrive at the same time., which I hadn’t expected due to the time lapse in ordering. They did arrive together. My steak was done just to my liking. The peppercorn sauce suited me as it wasn’t nippy. I’d ordered a side salad but am allergic to tomato. A nicely prepared salad with a variety of diced vegetables arrived. I was impressed by the service of both Stacey D and the kitchen staff. I was staying at the adjoining hotel which had sent me an email voucher offering 40% off main meals. Yet despite the big drop in income this did not affect the quality of service, detail and care.

Staying nearby stopped off for a swift drink, good service & clearly popular as quite busy, loved the bare stone walls, the flowery paper looked liked something from the 60’s lol
