Cafe Arriba in Highland

Not impressed by the temperature of the chicken and chorizo rice dish served in a cold dish.. sent it back.. was obviously stuck back in the microwave as the dish was hot second time around. Too salty. Also not impressed with the layers of dust on window ledges all round the room. Could do with a proper deep clean. Coffee was good. Waiting staff were lovely. Sorry... won't be back.

Mexican-themed upstairs café near the harbour, was busy but efficient service meant we didn't wait long for food. Simple, hearty dishes like bacon & cheese flatbread melt.

Lovely lunch at this fab cafe. Staff were super friendly. We had the macaroni cheese with haggis which was delicious and the tuna flatbread which was also lovely. This is a really dog friendly place 🤩. I don’t know if we got these special salt and pepper pots because of the dogs but we thought they were really sweet. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

The atmosphere is very alternative and very cozy at the same time. The meals are mostly very traditional like typical Scottish breakfast. The combination of these vibes is very fun and actually works very well. This is a perfect place for breakfast in Portree

Siamo entrati in questo locale durante il nostro viaggio attraverso la Scozia, era l'unico aperto che prendesse i pagamenti tramite carta (^_^). Si è rivelato un posto molto piacevole, la cameriera che ci ha servito era molto gentile e i menù erano scritti sulle lavagne alle pareti. Abbiamo preso una zuppa di pomodoro e chorizo, molto buona e sperimentato il nostro primo Mac&Cheese. Decisamente troppo scotta la pasta, per i nostri canoni italiani, ma localmente viene servita in questa maniera. Il gusto non era nemmeno male, il formaggio era un misto ma senza cheddar. Consigliato!

We stopped for lunch on a Wednesday. While it was busy, we were able to find 2 seats. The tables seemed to turn very quickly. We had the pastrami sandwich, bacon and egg roll, flat white and a diet coke. Everything tasted great, service was good. Fresh ingredients. Worth a visit.

Très belle adresse pour un bon breakfast à Portree! Nous étions 5 couples et avons eu 3 matins de suite de la chance de trouver des tables dans ce café très couru! Deco originale avec pour certaines tables une vue sympa sur le port . Grand choix de pdj , accueil jeune très sympa et produits de qualité !

Café sympathique ! Sans réservation, nous avons trouvé une petite place aux alentours de 16h ou nous avons pu nous rechauffer avec soupe et un bon chocolat chaud. Personnel jeune et dynamique.

We came here for lunch after going on a boat trip, only waited a few minutes for a table however it was packed. The seating is all upstairs so not accessible for some people. We were seated at a window seat which had a nice view but we did feel a bit cramped in the corner. The kids got macaroni cheese, cheesey chips and nachos and me and Marty got sausage butties. Everyone got soft drinks and I had a coffee which was lovely. We were served quickly and staff were polite. It served a purpose although not sure we would return as we struggled to find things on the menu we all wanted to eat, plus it was a bit too cramped to feel relaxed.

Nous avons découvert ce merveilleux endroit car nous avions rendez-vous pour un taxi devant. Quel bonheur ! Nous y avons déjeuné , puis sommes revenus pour le tea time puis le lendemain pour le breakfast. A chaque fois c’était un bon moment dans ce cadre chaleureux et coloré , avec du personnel sympathique et souriant . Tout est excellent, les plats, les gâteaux , les boissons . Essayez le vite !
