Fantastic location and view. Food excellent and reasonable. Have returned every year! Have visited every year for 10 years. Great view of the harbour. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Lovely, cosy wee place with lovely views despite the bad weather that day. Pictures of pancakes and waffles but sadly none on offer. Not the most wide menu but what we had was lovely. Very friendly staff who were lovely with the kids.

A very busy place which is sign of how good they must be. The dealt with the customers efficiently and it was a quick turnaround without feeling rushed. A very enjoyable full English breakfast. Staff were very friendly.

Busy but not too much of a wait for a table. Just had coffee and a breakfast roll. Coffee excellent with milk alternatives available. Filled breakfast roll was tasty. Good food selection. Recommend the cakes here too. Take away vegan cake very good.

Vandaag, 13u, café zat vol maar je kon aanschuiven. Als eerste stond een oudere meneer, die kwam scrabble spelen met een vriend. Na hem een vriendelijk koppel aan de babbel met de eerste meneer. Daarachter wij: koppel met 2 kinderen 10 en 12 jaar. Het eerste kwartier gebeurde er niks. Dan mocht de meneer binnen en een beetje later het koppel. Wij bleven geduldig wachten. Ondertussen was er achter ons een groep Italianen aangeschoven, die ongeduldig stonden te wachten: 1 voor 1 liepen ze het restaurant binnen om rond te kijken of om naar toilet te gaan, het personeel reageerde hier niet op. Iemand van het personeel kwam vragen met hoeveel we waren en zei dat het nog 5 à 10 min wachten was voor ons was. De groep achter ons was met 7 en zou ook 5 à 10 min. moeten wachten. 1 van de Italianen kwam voor ons staan en keek voortdurend het restaurant binnen. Tot hij het opgaf en hij ging met een gedeelte van de groep weg. Ondertussen, een kwartier later ipv de 5 à 10 min, kwam er een tafel voor 4 vrij dus het zou nu snel aan ons zijn dacht ik. De tafel werd leeg- en schoongemaakt maar er kwam niemand naar de deur. In plaats daarvan stond 2 man personeel achter de toog naar een gsm te kijken. Mijn zoontje van 10 keek even binnen en onmiddellijk kwam een derde personeelslid vragen of we achteruit en aan de zijkant wilden wachten, iets wat we al 30' braaf aan het doen waren! En ze ging terug weg. Mijn geduld was op en mijn gezin en ik zeiden dat we weg waren. Liever naar de winkel en thuis koken dan dit... Als je de drukte niet aankan of je bent de toeristen beu, zet dan een bord 'volzet' ofzo maar blijf professioneel. Kortom: Lui, niet kindvriendelijk personeel dat een druk restaurant niet aankan en toeristen meer dan beu is. Ik spendeer mijn centjes dan wel ergens anders

Horrible, la serveuse a oublié notre commande résultat 1h d’attente, pensez vous qu’elle nous aurait fait passer nos plats en priorité, mais pas du tout , les autres clients arrivés bien après nous ont continué à être servi, en plus toute cette attente pour une nourriture infâme, trop salé, frites pas cuites et j’en passe, c’est un attrape touristes, mon conseil n’y allez pas!

Watered down coffee undrinkable. Cheese scone had a peculiar taste and had to be warmed up to be remotely palatable. Lovely view over the sea is the only reason to stop here.

We popped in for breakfast, seems like a busy wee place. A small cooked breakfast for one was enjoyed. The bagel daily special with goat's cheese, bacon and chilli jam was just okay. The bacon in jam was a bit too sweet and there was too much goat's cheese that was thickly cut on the bagel. Staff pleasant though a bit too efficient clearing tables as removed my teacup before I was finished my pot of tea but happy to give me a paper cup on request. Worth a visit if you in the area.

Great service and happy to be flexible with menu when I asked for no chili sauce but wanted add haggis to my venison hot dogs. Good portion sizes, you won’t leave hungry!

Staff are always friendly and the service is good. They do great scones and cakes, and a good selection of coffees and teas. I opted for the nachos on this occasion, a decent portion and well presented. However, it was covered in some very sticky sweet chili sauce (I think that's what it was meant to be). Just not what I would expect when ordering nachos.

Not impressed by the temperature of the chicken and chorizo rice dish served in a cold dish.. sent it back.. was obviously stuck back in the microwave as the dish was hot second time around. Too salty. Also not impressed with the layers of dust on window ledges all round the room. Could do with a proper deep clean. Coffee was good. Waiting staff were lovely. Sorry... won't be back.

Mexican-themed upstairs café near the harbour, was busy but efficient service meant we didn't wait long for food. Simple, hearty dishes like bacon & cheese flatbread melt.

The atmosphere is very alternative and very cozy at the same time. The meals are mostly very traditional like typical Scottish breakfast. The combination of these vibes is very fun and actually works very well. This is a perfect place for breakfast in Portree

Lovely lunch at this fab cafe. Staff were super friendly. We had the macaroni cheese with haggis which was delicious and the tuna flatbread which was also lovely. This is a really dog friendly place 🤩. I don’t know if we got these special salt and pepper pots because of the dogs but we thought they were really sweet. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Siamo entrati in questo locale durante il nostro viaggio attraverso la Scozia, era l'unico aperto che prendesse i pagamenti tramite carta (^_^). Si è rivelato un posto molto piacevole, la cameriera che ci ha servito era molto gentile e i menù erano scritti sulle lavagne alle pareti. Abbiamo preso una zuppa di pomodoro e chorizo, molto buona e sperimentato il nostro primo Mac&Cheese. Decisamente troppo scotta la pasta, per i nostri canoni italiani, ma localmente viene servita in questa maniera. Il gusto non era nemmeno male, il formaggio era un misto ma senza cheddar. Consigliato!

We stopped for lunch on a Wednesday. While it was busy, we were able to find 2 seats. The tables seemed to turn very quickly. We had the pastrami sandwich, bacon and egg roll, flat white and a diet coke. Everything tasted great, service was good. Fresh ingredients. Worth a visit.

Très belle adresse pour un bon breakfast à Portree! Nous étions 5 couples et avons eu 3 matins de suite de la chance de trouver des tables dans ce café très couru! Deco originale avec pour certaines tables une vue sympa sur le port . Grand choix de pdj , accueil jeune très sympa et produits de qualité !

Café sympathique ! Sans réservation, nous avons trouvé une petite place aux alentours de 16h ou nous avons pu nous rechauffer avec soupe et un bon chocolat chaud. Personnel jeune et dynamique.

We came here for lunch after going on a boat trip, only waited a few minutes for a table however it was packed. The seating is all upstairs so not accessible for some people. We were seated at a window seat which had a nice view but we did feel a bit cramped in the corner. The kids got macaroni cheese, cheesey chips and nachos and me and Marty got sausage butties. Everyone got soft drinks and I had a coffee which was lovely. We were served quickly and staff were polite. It served a purpose although not sure we would return as we struggled to find things on the menu we all wanted to eat, plus it was a bit too cramped to feel relaxed.

Nous avons découvert ce merveilleux endroit car nous avions rendez-vous pour un taxi devant. Quel bonheur ! Nous y avons déjeuné , puis sommes revenus pour le tea time puis le lendemain pour le breakfast. A chaque fois c’était un bon moment dans ce cadre chaleureux et coloré , avec du personnel sympathique et souriant . Tout est excellent, les plats, les gâteaux , les boissons . Essayez le vite !
