Cache Cache in City of London, Westminster

This is a terrible bar. I know that it is a speakeasy so being led through a toilet to reach the bar is part of the experience. We were there as a group of 8 friends and we have booked a table. However we were then told that we could not have our table unless we guarantee to spend at least £50 per head. We ordered our drinks and they made us stand around which was very uncomfortable with such a big group. We had to wait almost 30 min for drinks to arrive! This was incredibly uncomfortable in high heels! After repeatedly complaining they eventually gave us a table but only for an hour. Chances are that we probably would have spend £50 each or more if we did have a good time. But we did not so we spend our money elsewhere! Avoid!

The atmosphere is amazing, the cocktails and food are delicious. I can recommend Erim for cocktails, tell him i said hi!!

We were there just for one drink but after the Dj performance started we couldn’t leave the place. Varadin prepared amazing cocktails so we stayed until midnight . Very cosy and fantastic place. Thanks for all the team it was suck an amazing night

Yes, I know this is a speakeasy but after walking around the Piazza for 20 or so minutes and no one able to tell us where to go, we finally asked at the Japanese restaurant where it was and found what can only be described as a very non descript sign up high by what looks like an emergency exit with two security guards. Upon arrival, you are led downstairs through a hallway and a few doors and then brought into a unisex toilet and briefed on "the experience". We were then led (by another person) to curtained table which was set for a meal (which I hadn't booked) and was advised that there was a minimum spend of £50 per person for the booking and the table was for 90 mins. Our hostess must have been new as every query I had, she said oh I don't know and had to go check with someone else. After waiting for 10 or so minutes, she came back and said we could have the table without a minimum spend but the experience and clientele wasn't to our taste (friend was made feel very uncomforable), so we decided not to proceed with the reservation and went elsewhere.

Best bar in London by far 🍸 Visited for my birthday night in London, was immaculate from the minute we got to the door, staff were unreal, the atmosphere was so nice, relaxing and really chilled but with a lovely lively vibe Could listen to music but still chat and met lots of people on other tables enjoying their night too and even when our time was up said we could join them Cocktails were the best I’ve ever had Can’t wait to come back ♥️

This bar is great fun with a really good vibe and music ! We cannot wait to return. It’s very small but that makes it more fun really and we loved the random dancing from waiters and musicians!

It is a really cool experience (and make sure you go to the loo). Lots of intimate tables. We just had drinks, my first one was AMAZING, The Great Gatsby. My second one was disappointing (spicy margarita - one dimensional - limey).

Oh where do I start not only was the entrance through a toilet and secret mirror we were greeted by darren who was very friendly professional and made the most BEAUTIFUL cocktails if I had my own bar he would be coming with me!!!

Locale stravagante ma una truffa per le tasche. Si entra da un bagno pieno di specchi. Tuttavia per due gin tonic ed un piattino con tre tartine al salmone abbiamo pagato €100,00. Una truffa per turisti.

I visited cache with my friends we were welcomed by the lovely 2 doormen into a wonderful atmosphere downstairs. 10/10.

We first saw this place being reviewed on Instagram and were staying around the corner for the night so thought let's go it looks great. We met a bouncer at the top of the steps and she asked if we had made a reservation and we hadn't and then said we could come in but we would have to spend a minimum of £40 each. I would normally say something to that but my partner said just let it go and let's see what happens. 2 girls on their own were let through before us without mentioning the minimum spend which was very odd. Walking downstairs to almost a secret door was great and that is where our experience ended. The 2 girls that were let in before us were refused entry and sent back up, again very odd. We were let into a very small bar area and sat down. The menu was ok and the cocktails were around £16 each. I was hoping we would then move to another area after our drinks were made but this wasn't the case. I asked the waitress about what else was there and she said feel free to look around. It was very small and not like it was shown on Instagram, so very misleading by Secret London. Online it said they had fake windows with Tv screens which looked great but they didn't even have them on. There were around 6 people in the place already and they appeared to be eating at a table but no one else here. We were not offered a food menu which was disappointing as we may have stayed longer. The music was really bad even though there appeared to be a DJ. It was like Cuban music with bongo drums. Who wants to listen to that on a Saturday night? Not exactly something you can dance to. I asked the barman if the music would change and I think he said probably not. Other people started to arrive and a group of 6 girls arrived and was told there wasn't table for them but there was a standing area behind us with 3 seats. They all came over and encroached on our space at the bar and with that we just left our drinks and walked out. So unprofessional for the staff to allow that to happen. Nothing was made comfortable or exciting about our visit. Why would we stay? What was the motivation to buy more drinks? None whatsoever!!! Basically we paid £74 and were there about 1 hour. What a complete waste of money. I would never recommend this place to anyone. From being told we had to spend £40 as a minimum and not even being asked if we wanted to eat why would be go back? The competition around you is very strong, you need up your game to contend with other bars.

Disappointing. Instagram makes it look so much more than it is. It’s not a secret door, there was no show on the Friday night that we went however we’re not informed of this, min spend still applied of 50pp, we were asked to leave before our 1.5hr time slot was up. Not worth the trip from Brighton

My daughter booked the venue for an evening for my birthday. Lovely place great looking etc food very nice however After spending an expected amount of £140 Andy was willing to continue to with drinks and cocktails we were told one and a half hours is your limit so as we attended at 7 pm no live music just rush eat drink spend get out

Unexpected hidden restaurant/night club with incredible vibe. The atmosphere, the setting, live music, and delicious cocktails make Cache Cache a must go place in London, Quite hidden, but just search harder. You can find this spectacular place in covent garden market! Good place to go with friends or couple. Will definitely come again!

Lovely experience, had such a fun time. Very kind and polite staff. Delicious drinks and food! Would highly recommend!

Came with some friends in December and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The Dj was great and the drinks were incredible. Definitely recommend it if you are trying to have a good night out in London.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with our friends.It is a great location for group bookings. Food and cocktails were amazing. Also , Dj was playing nice and we really enjoyed. We will definitely come back .
