Buxton Charcoal Grill in High Peak

I've eaten at this places dozens of times and they have only got my order wrong ONCE true getting it wrong at all isn't great but it has only happened once out of probably at least 50 times and their pizza is the best I have ever had it is just fantastic I am vegetarian but from what I have heard from other people (and from the little bit that I ate before I was a vegetarian) their burgers and kebabs are great as well over all my favourite place in town and trust me i have eaten everywhere in town except one place. it is just so GREAT better than dominos better than any (pizza place) I have ever eaten at before, if you think I am wrong about any of this then please reply/ message me so we can discuss this furtherand by the way the latest that this website had available for date of visit was June 2020 the first time I went there was sometime in early 2018 I think. and I have been here 50+ times not just once as this website thinks

I’m sorry but the food is practically not even edible, So you think your safe with some desserts, you can’t go wrong surely with desserts, can you? WELL, they even come FROZEN I got delivered my Ben and Jerry’s and thought I would risk it with the cheese cake, risk NOT worth taking, got delivered rock hard cheese cake, you could frisbee that fu**er and knock Tyson Fury out. Highly DO NOT recommend.

When arrived 20mins late it was blacker than a creakheads tooth not going here again.

These guys consistently smash it out of the park, their pizzas are to die for and at least for me they always deliver early or on time. Well done guys keep up the amazing work and service.

Chicken nuggets looked like they had been cooked over and over and very very cheap had no taste, same goes for the few chips we got. The curry sauce was nearly solid I should of got a pack of frozen oven fries and frozen saver chicken nuggets and would of been so much better

Always have lovely food from here, never had an issue with any food really. However when I order for 8pm so the kids are in bed, I am not happy receiving at 7.39 when the kids are still up! Leading to complaints off the children wanting food and mine and my partners tea being cold from sitting there for 20 mins while we sort the kids out!!

Food stone cold Rang them and they were rude and said complain on just eat ?? Just eat says ring the takeaway to resolve it and they said ring just eat ??? How do I get my money back And compliance disgusting service

Absolutely delicious as always. The dominant chain has always been my guilty pleasure but I can heartily recommend Buxton Charcoal Grill and they are now the only place I order from for pizza. Their pepperoni pizza and wedges are incredible!!

Really nice chicken kebab. Tasty, fresh and a good size too. Pizza was pretty good too, not to greasy, lots of toppings. Friendly delivery man :)

Our food was great but it arrived 45 minutes to early. My husband wasn’t home (that’s why I ordered it at a particular time!) so it had to be warmed up in microwave. I will order again but I’ll order it later next time just in case it arrives early again!

The kebab chilli sauce was basically a bbq sauce and far too sweet. The garlic bread was tasteless

Restaurant said “delivery only” and so food was ordered upon this condition, but I received numerous phone calls saying I had to collect it; which I could not do.

What I like most about Charcoal Grill is the consistency of quality and service. Pizza, Burger or kebab always on time always spot on. They have my loyalty because they deserve it.

Have to pay for extra cheese as a topping which isn’t cheap but what a difference it makes , always add extra cheese here

took almost 2 hours to get here, after the first hour i rang and they said it was on its way but till took after 45 mins to get here🙄 staff are rude as well no apology or anything when i called up numerous of times

I asked for a cheese burger but didn’t have any cheese on it and it literally just fell apart when I picked it up apart from that it was lovely and the delivery was good being early

Bones in the food and delivered late. Disgusted

Cold food, garlic sause was missing. Delivery late more then 30 minutes. Upset

Food was awful pizza was ok everything else was thrown away. Chicken kebab chicken was so burnt it was crunchy. Garlic bread was dry and think they forgot the garlic. Chips were dry, boys didn’t want the chicken nuggets they tasted like cardboard over cooked.

We are regular customers and don’t normally have problems but on this occasion we were very disappointed when our pizza arrived stone cold. When we contacted them they advised this was due to them being busy. Not a good enough excuse in my eyes. We don’t often get to order takeaways and is very much a treat for us so it’s understandably disappointing.
