Butta Burger in Edinburgh, City of

We enjoyed a fantastic family lunch at Butta Burger in George Street today. The variety of chicken and beef burgers, along with an assortment of fries, impressed us. The quality was excellent, and the portions were generously sized - there was so much food! A highlight was the delicious fried cordial olives, which were incredible! The staff members were all lovely and added to the experience.

I came here with 3 friends and we all agreed it was the nicest comfort food we have ever had! We had a mix of chicken and beef burgers with the truffle fries, mozzarella bites and wow it was all amazing. PLEASE open in England :)

We visited on a quiet Monday evening and were soon seated. The place has a great vibe and we soon ordered. Our drinks arrived promptly but the food was nowhere to be seen. 45 minutes later the waitress came to apologise for the delay, saying that there had been a mistake in the kitchen. Whilst we waited we ordered another beer each. When the burgers arrived they were delicious. The chips were a little cool but good enough: it's just odd that they don't come with a burger, so they're an extra cost: £4 for a regular portion, £4.50 for a large portion - so we both had the large portions and they were generous! The restaurant was good enough to give us a 20% discount on the meal, and the second round of drinks was free! So a great meal flawed by a kitchen error but made better by a good deal. Recommended.

I had no idea what to expect, but wasn't disappointed. I had the classic beef burger, and it was the best burger I've ever had. The beef was sublime. The chips somehow stayed hot for a lot longer than I would have thought, although I'd recommend sharing a chips between two people. Nice added touch: the bill comes with a line for how much it would be per person if it was split equally between you, potentially of help to some! I will be back!

Loved this place. Expensive but good. We'll at least it was! My partner and I ate there at lunch time today 2pm. The only thing we've eaten today. Its now 8.30pm and projectile vomit all round. Both sick as dogs. Cheers butta burger.

Came here for dinner as I'd heard such amazing reviews and seen it on TikTok and Instagram - it was amazing!! We had the Truffle Chicken burger and a classic beef with a chicken platter and spicy fries. We ended up drinking their cocktails too as they are £6!!! The staff were brilliant and really welcoming when we came in. I'll deffo be back

Hey, it’s a burger place, but if you’re craving a good hamburger, AND a beer, this is a good place to go. I think each of the four of us had a different burger, and all thought theirs was very good.

We were recommend going to Butte Burger by our hotel Eden Locke on George Street and given it was our first night after a full day of travel we thought we'd give it a try. We had read previous reviews that the food was great although the service was somewhat slower than you would have liked which is what we found to be the case. Although we did not book they kindly escorted us to a high table and we had to wait around 15mins to take food and drinks orders, which to us is way too long. When the food arrived it was nice and tasty (We both had the Truffle Chick). For a quick meal I would recommend!
