Excellent visit! I am vegan and had a lot of choice, my husband eats meat and also had a lot of choice. Everything we ate was delicious, freshly cooked and great quality. Service was exceptional- really made the experience!

Amazing food - my adult vegetarian daughter and I (non veg) had delicious food here for dinner. Really recommend Butlers. Staff were very friendly. We would return if ever we find ourselves in Sheffield.

Great food and whilst it arrived on time the delivery guy couldn’t find my house and expected me to go and find him. I directed him in the end only then to discover my starter was missing. Raised a help ticket and got credited to the account.

10/10 absolutely beautiful curry, definitely will be ordering from here again. The presentation of delivery was spot on aswell.

Been several times. Went inJune and had an excellent evening. Food was excellent. I had Poppodoms with the pickel tray(7 pickkes from Mango Chutney to Lime Pickle). Onion Bhaji, for starters and Special Biriani with Peshwari Nan for the main course. All was piping hot and well presented. Meal was delicious. Waiters were very friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. I recommend a visit. Previous visit. Had a very nice curry here. We booked a table for a Friday night in December. The restaurant was full and people waiting for tables. Because we had booked our table was ready and we were served by friendly staff. Went for the set meal poppadoms and starters and we each had a different main course. I had Special Biriani which I enjoyed. The staff were very efficient and we were served in an appropriate timescale which considering how busy the restaurant was excellent. Would recommend the restaurant for a good curry but you might want to book if you think it may be busy e.g. December and weekends.

Thought we'd try this place as we do love a balti and it was yummy. Really good food and very friendly service. Parking is a bit of an issue but don't let that put you off.

Food, service, atmosphere! 10/10. If you haven't been you need to. Delicious food, excellent service. Couldn't have been a better Choice for a Saturday evening with family. My sister travels from the Wirral yo meet up here. Never rushed to leave the table, and are left to enjoy with extremely attentive staff on hand if you need anything! Cannot recommend enough. Thank you to all the staff for another top notch evening and gorgeous food!

was a poor curry, very overrated. not much flavour on anything. poppadoms were soft rice was really greasy and the bhaji was terrible. won't be ordering from here again doesn't justify the expensive cost

Visit today very disappointed had Lamb tikka masala dish very dry must have been last night’s left overs will not return gone downhill rice is served at a smaller portion also bottles are small but charged at a higher price 330ml small bottles £4 sure there is better Indian restaurants around for value for money in this climate

Really good food and warm accommodation, I had lamb chops and lamb handi, the chops were so tender and juicy, and the Handi topped it up with naan bread and rice

Went there last night and was absolutely fantastic food. Really friendly atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Had the lamb masala which was beautifully served.

Me and my partner dined at this restaurant last after the snooker it was recommended by the taxi driver so we took a gamble as we are not local it was busy we got seated promptly by a waiter who had a very good polite manner took us to the table and got drinks and poppadoms order straight away thumbs up for this we had a chat to the waiter and asked for recommendations… the recommendations did not disappoint us at all… Waj our waiter had time to have a chat with us he was very helpful and very polite and very friendly he made us feel very comfortable…thanks waj for the great service last night 5 stars for you

One of the nicest indian meals my wife and I have ever had.

Unfortunately, blue latex glove made it into an onion bhaji I ate - it was a huge piece of glove. I've no doubt that if I swallowed it, it could have been potentially fatal. I've woken up from a nightmare about it. I took it out of my mouth because it was so chewy and I was worried it was meat. The restaurant tried to make good by not charging us for the bhaji, bringing my dining partner chicken tikka (I'm vegetarian) and giving free drinks and coffee ( but we ended up being charged for all the drinks). I was crying and wanted to go home. But my dining partner hates making a fuss and complaining, to an extreme, and told me I'd be going home by myself. So I sat crying until.a wait staff said they would be having a meeting with the kitchen and it would never happen again. However, we still paid £62 (over £17 drinks bill that we were told would be complimentary) for the meal for two (mains, poppadom, sides, drinks). I use gloves at home because I have OCD and they don't end up in the food. I am traumatised.

First time visit at BUTLERS & wasn't disappointed, in fact was extremely surprised. Absolutely amazing food, service & ambience. Very busy but got seated straight away, the food, the place, and the team were (are!) amazing. We all absolutely loved it. A few reviews had mentioned the mix grilled platter, and how surprised they were at something so simple being so spectacular. Well, they weren’t wrong. They’re a triumph: hint of bbq smokiness, a hint of spice, just enough cooked, and yet so comfortably spicy, tasty and mouth watering, Definitely the best mix grill I’ve ever had in UK. For mains we had lamb chops, butter chicken and fish masala, OMG. These chefs definitely know what they’re doing. couldn't fault anything at all, will definitely be returning. Absolutely highly recommended, basically Bradford curry house food served in Sheffield in a lovely ambiance. 10/10

Excellent food. Between 5 of us both meat eaters and veggies we were spoiled for choice. I had a Kashmiri dish of bindi aubergine and mushrooms which was well spiced but not too hot. Everyone finished their meal including starters. I had tikka Paneer served blistering hot and loved it. Staff were friendly and the courses came in good time without them being rushed. My daughter recommended Butler's and I am sure we will go again.

I'm not one for eating late at night while out drinking so I haven't been to butlers for many many years but I have to say it was just as good if not better than I remember, the food was amazing, the portion sizes were easily enough and the quality was tops

Service was prompt although they refuse to take your plates away as you finish them which is frustrating as an untidy table is annoying. Asked for a madras which was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't really. Not far off a korma dish for spice but tasty all the same.

The food was so so good here. I can’t remember what my colleagues had but my garlic and chilli balti with garlic nan and rice was very enjoyable. Drinks were only bottles but still cold and enjoyable

Asked for recommendation of traditional kashmir dishes had chicken handi and chicken and keema handi both excellent choices reasonable prices and excellent service. A must to have also is the Mango Lassi .Top marks

The food overall was nice but a little too oily in parts. The chips didn't taste of anything really so we didn't eat them. However the garlic and cheese naan was delicious and the whole meal was cooked well and at a good temperature when it arrives.

We ordered for collection. We were waiting a very long time. The order was expensive even with the take away discount (£40 for 2 people starter, curry naan and rice). We didn't get the curry we asked for. The naan was raw. Communication that the food was delayed was poor. We haven't informed the restaurant we were unhappy so I don't know how they resolve complaints.

very good food and friendly service.

Felt rushed and staff kept mithering all the time, took less than an hour for order and food to come and eaten which made us all feel uncomfortable, bill presented without us asking as we was having conversations with each other but was made to feel like we had to move from the table early, surroundings floor very slippy and paper peeling from the wall in places. Toilet was left un flushed in disabled toilet on arrival and we was one of the first customers to arrive around 5.15 pm - shame as food was ok just staff over attentive so unfortunately we won’t be returning

We have been coming here for years and it’s always great. The Chicken Tikka Starter, the Naan Breads and the Balti Dishes in particular are the stars of the show for us. We often bring our family here and everyone thoroughly enjoys it. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for Indian food in Sheffield!

little bit late but its new years eve so there probably was high demand so no worries, only 10ish mins anyway. my lamb tikka masala was lovely, sweet and mild with tender lamb. everyone else enjoyed theirs as well. will order again. :)

Ordered from Butlers as usual as always delicious and hot on arrival. Order came with items missing, called Butlers and they were brilliant sent the missing items straight away without any questions and apologised. Amazing service as always .

The food come cold - I called to try resolve the issue and they weren't very helpful. They said about discount for next time... after this time why would I want to order again? Or they can resend the sides (when the curry was cold as well!) And have to wait for these to be delivered...

There's not many places in Sheffield that serve curry this good. We called in on Saturday for a meal. The service was spot on and the food was absolutely amazing. It was obviously freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The naan breads were perfect and the rice was nice and fluffy (not stodgy) Definitely going to return soon as the cravings won't go away..

Best curry I've ever had across the pond. Butter chicken marsala was very flavorful. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Great times!!

It was extremely busy it's Christmas after all I we took this all in to account ..saying that the onion bajis weren't onion bajis didn't look like them are taste like them not an onion in sight..we shared a main meal which were so small we had three spoons each we where given little starter plates to eat off small rice and in our bombay potatoes had six small potatoes to choose from. From start to Finnish we where in for 35 mins .. the gentlemens toilet were minging......we shall never ever go again even the taxi driver said its gone down hill ...and this saddens me

What has happened to you?? You used to be amazing now it’s so so poor!!!! Food was stone cold and I only live literally 10 mins drive away from the restaurant. I’ve complained to Just Eat and hoping to get a refund for that shambles that’s just been delivered. Shocking. You need to sort it out.!
