Good average Turkish restaurant. Reasonable prices and food got served quickly. Mix grill is a good choice if you want to get a full taste of everything they do. I would recommend the lamb chops.

This was our first visit in a few years. The owner has been there for years and is very welcoming. Good was as good as ever. The Adana was well cooked and tasty served on flat bread with a substantial salad and rice. The Ali Nasik was also flavoursome with two lamb kebabs served on a bed of pureed aubergine. Well worth a visit.

Absolute shocking how they rip people off here without telling you. Asked for a dip for the bread charged me £2 without telling me also charged me £3.50 for a can of drink food was standard. Never coming back those people are there just to con you

Really lovely food and great service. It's a good environment for all types of gatherings and nice n cosy environment. Costs weren't too bad and the service was really good too. It was a place I would definitely go again.

I am so disappointed to write this review. I had hoped for much more given the reviews I read upon their window and walls. The service was good, the two front of house staff were pleasant and professional. Our wait would have almost been acceptable if the food had met an acceptable standard. All I can presume is that the current cook (certainly no chef) is new and inexperienced. The food wasn't particularly well presented. My meal was supposed to be spicey,and at over £20 a dish I already felt a little disdain towards it. But hey ho, not being one to judge a book by its cover, I dug in The first mouthful was not spicey in any way and to be honest, it reminded me of moist wood shavings, akin with those I used to clean out of my rabbits hutch as a child. Underneath the bland minced lamb, presented in the shape of a cross, not sure why? was some form of vegetables that I must presume was of their own design,being multi coloured but each individual strand tasting and textured exactly as the previous. The others with me had a Lamb Iskander, which usually would be one of my most favourite Turkish dishes, but I tasted theirs and to be honest it only added to my disappointment That too was bland, the meat was tasteless and even the water jug had more flavour than the sauce. None of the food actually arrived at the same time, which for a group of 4 was truly not good enough. The restaurant had three other customers, so not a busy night at all. If this is how they are when quiet,I would had to eat there at busy times. We learn as we go one. I certainly have no wish to return here. No empty plate photos this time. No empty plates.

CHECK YOUR BILL BREAKDOWN! 2 x lamb ribs, 2 x beers and 2 x fruit juices should not equate to £68. Their little pieces of paper with written bills have no details of what you ate and their associated prices. I was overcharged £10 on my bill. Be careful of the old woman server with the glasses

The worst experience with rude unwelcoming staff I have ever seen. We Went today for a dinner with friends, requested two separate tables, then of the staff asked if we have any booking, we said we don’t have booking, then he said he can give us 2 tables just for an hour, so we didn’t agree , thought they might be booked and were about to leave then he came back and said that it’s okay to stay for 2 hours, so agreed. Ten minutes later another staff came and asked to move us to another table bcz they don’t have space to accommodate more people so we left the restaurant. If you want people to make booking in advance then you need to say that clearly from the beginning. Very rude and unprofessional people and would never recommend.

Best restaurant I’ve eaten at in the UK in my four years stay there. The food is amazing - I miss their Adana weekly or even daily after I went back home.

A perfect and complete Turkish menu in Sheffield. The dishes have that Mediterranean taste which engrosses you makes you crave more. If you need any explanations regarding the ingredients and stuff like that, the staff go out of their way as they are super helpful. Apart from the quality of food, the decor and paintings are out of this world. From time to time, the music coupled with the design puts you in the heart of Turkey. Definitely worth a try and absolutely within everyone’s budget. Save some room for the dessert.

Visit here all the time, it’s the best Turkish cuisine in Sheffield. It’s been there years for a reason. I can’t really speak for the full menu as I always have the mixed grill as it’s epic - the meat is grilled to perfection and the salad is great. Friendly service, a real Sheffield gem…

A firm favourite that's still as good as ever. Zingy, fresh flavours (definitely more flavourful than it's newer rival up the road in my opinion). Ali Nazik and mixed grill combo is a winner between two.

Lovely wait staff and amazing food

Small and friendly. Families including small children welcome. Good quality food and helpful staff. You can smell the smoky cooking as you enter. It can be quite noisy and echoing when it’s full, so not really good for catch ups or romance at weekends.

I was surprised to see mix platter,but when I taste the food I was surprised food was tasteless and all of us were feeling bringing it out, I pay the bill amount which came to us on plain paper with amount only. we left the restaurant without eating a food and were asked do you need takeaway boxes. All of us shouted with big no.

Always great place to get good quality Turkish grill. Always get liver to start and then some great shish. Good value. Been multiple times in the past. Sometimes can get rammed and a little too noisy but was fine this time.

Food wasn't as great as it tasted very basic and bland. Didn't feel like it was seasoned. We were craving some turkish food, but this didn't meet our expectations. Dissapointing experience

Brilliant fresh food, never greasy, and always consistently good. Mixed grill platter is highly recommended. Limited staff but small intimate venue and never feel like you wait too long. The Turkish coffee could be slightly bigger for the money but that is just an aside really. I would book ahead on Fridays and Saturdays. Post edit: Been back numerous times for Mixed Grill and consistently great. Still recommended.

Lovely delicious authentic Turkish food. We have been to Turkey many times and this restaurant really brings back those memories. Atmosphere is great and very attentive staff.

A lovely atmosphere on a Sunday evening with couples, groups of friends and families all enjoying superb, really fresh food. The owners/ staff are very welcoming and efficient and the portions are generous to say the least. Complimentary flatbread and olives to start mean going straight to mains is advisable and then maybe (only maybe) you'll make it to dessert! You can even bring your own wine although there's a reasonable corkage fee. My group all thought the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced.

Resturant nice and busy. I had a mixed grill. Wasn't as flavourful as expected. Chicken was nice. Lamb was a little dry & tough. Nice fresh salad. You don't get any sauce to accompany the meal and it was a little dry when I asked they said they only had chilli sauce. We ordered this and was charged £1.50 for the small pot. Could tell that our table was wanted back as people coming in without booking. Staff were ok but busy. I wouldn't rush back.

Poor service. Found hair in the food, the waitress gave no apologise nor refund or remake the dish. I tried to argue and she took £3.85 off from the bill and she was not sorry about it at all. The service was slow and their fan seemed not work, the full room was full of smoke from the chargrill.

Came here recently with family. Loved the food, the portions were large and tasted great. I got the mixed grill, which had a little bit of everything and is a great choice if you’ve never been before. The waiting staff were polite and had my food served fairly quickly. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Its one of my favourite places. We come to eat there regularly with a lot of friends. The best lamb ribs in Yorkshire! I am actually serious!!!! Portions are very generous and meat is grilled to perfection. Very recommended!

Very rude manager. Kept the doors open so he could save on AC. Very rude when I asked him to close it. We were freezing. Other guests closed the door themselves. Not going back again. Food was good but took over half hour to Stivers. The place was empty. Not like it used to be….. dead now.

Very nice place. Good in every way. Not fussed. I liked the cola glasses and they gave me one and refused to charge me. If you like Turkish Coffee and baklava to finish the super tasty meal then you will not be disappointed.

The service was absolutely terrible. I had to ask for the drinks 4 times the staff was walking around like they didn’t know what they was doing. We ordered a selection of different items from the menu, I ended up in pain and sick from the food, the meat tasted like liver!

Spent a very enjoyable Friday night here with friends. A relaxed atmosphere but best of all the food is awesome. Everyone enjoyed their meal with no plate envy to be seen.

What a gem this restaurant is! The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and courteous. Easily my favourite restaurant. The only sad thing was being too full for desert. Next time I'll leave room!

The meat was juicy and the smell of smoke was good but its kind not nice to add service charge without saying anything to customers.

Very dated place now, food and environment is as old as it’s legacy sadly this used to be a fan favourite but over time it’s just stood still

Read good review then decided to give try. Unfortunately we found the food quality is very bad. No taste at all, very bland. No house made sauces with grill food. Big serving plate less meat on it and almost half of the plate is salad. I think they wanted to show customer that huge portion, in reality it’s not.

My family and I are a frequent visitor to this particular restaurant for more than 10 years we tend to drive from midland to enjoy amazing dining experience. The place has a unique vibe and I do recommend it to anyone likes to eat original Turkish cuisine in Sheffield

I'm an early customer at this establishment it opened in 2004, and I visited here many times over the years with my family and on my own. Came here this evening and ordered the old favourite 'Adana' Kebab. It was as good as ever. Good quality meat with perfect seasoning, fresh salad accompaniment, and excellent service. The prices have risen over the years, but this is a sign of times.... quality costs more money now.

Zeugma Mediterranean restaurant in Sheffield We recently went to Zeugma in Sheffield for my Sister’s birthday meal with a group of 5 people. There was a total of about 13 people in the restaurant at the time of our arrival (some already eating) and as we were very hungry, we thought we would be served quite quickly. (Mid week) We were seated right away, we ordered our drinks and food, and then we waited and waited, and waited.... After a while, I noticed that customers arriving after us were getting served their main before us, one table in particular (turned out to be friends of the owner) were getting a very fast service indeed. After an hour and 20 minutes, and quite a few complaints at the wait, our food finally arrived. We were all extremely hungry by that point, and we were disappointed that it had taken so long. Just like previous visits in the past, over the years, the food was actually very, very good, but the long wait and the fact that we were served after customers whom arrived after us really ruined the experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for a special occasion, especially not a birthday meal. I had convinced our group that this would be the place to go, how wrong I was. Additional: The staff eventually admitted that the kitchen had lost our order. (How the kitchen, that is visible to the diner/staff wouldn’t wonder why an entire table wasn’t eating is a mystery?) The staff did apologies and brought us a free plate of hummus to pacify us (not the point) They did play the Happy Birthday tune and bring out Baklova for Sis, again, not the point, we waited an hour plus for food and this made everyone grumpy. Despite complaining, no apology from the owner or any offer of discount. (which I would have turned down, as the food was so good) Here are some specific things that the restaurant could do to improve the experience: • Be more attentive to the needs of their customers. • Make sure that food is served in a timely manner. • Ensure that customers who arrive are served in order. Overall, I was disappointed with my Sister’s birthday meal at this restaurant. The food was good, but the long wait and the poor service made it a less than enjoyable experience. London Road has lots of choice and some very nice eateries, but we chose you and unfortunately you disappointed. Unless they up their game, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for a special occasion.

Had the mixed grill, fantastic as usual. The restaurant was quiet as it was late evening and approaching closing time, this didn't affect the service. Drinks are good measures too.

Couldn’t fault it! Lovely cozy restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff were attentive but not overbearing and the food was cooked to perfection!! Two of us shared the mixed grill and the chicken wings.. we have good appetites and struggled to eat everything. Probably the best restaurant meal I’ve eaten in the last 5 years. We will definitely be back with the family and plan to bring my dad when he visits from Spain in August 👍😁

Went for Iftar, my honest review is that the customer service was very good, setting and decor was cosy and nice. The food was cooked well and tasted good, I would give it a 8/10 and may come again. Personally don’t think the food quality/portion/taste reflects the prices as it was abit pricey for this area and type of food. Overall it was good food, setting and ambience.👍🏼

Was okay lamb chops tasted like charcoal no flavour

Really great meal, amazing presentation. Very clean in restaurant. £93 for 4 people. 4 mains 2 diet cokes and 2 coke zeros. Lovely waitress.

Felt more like a takeaway. Very crowded inside, highchairs stacked in the doorway for the toilets. Food was alright but mains were poorly presented. Service was slow, brought out my friends food ten minutes after everyone else's and we weren't updated until I asked. We waited ages for the bill. Disappointing, won't be back. Sorry.

Service was very SLOW. After 45mins we were still waiting for our main dishes to come out. We approached a waitress and was then notified that the vegetarian dish was unavailable (why did it take 45mins to notify us). Funnily enough restaurant was not that busy: It was half empty. So we asked for the bill as we ordered drinks and starters. After consulting with what appears to be the manager, waitress came back and told us we didn't have to pay and apologised for the slow service.

Lahmacun and pide were excellent. Had to mark review down to 3 as the kuneife dessert was completely lacking cheese - so disappointed. Worst kuneife I've ever had (and I've had many) - will not order a dessert again

Everything here is delicious. Lamb chops, lamb kebabs, even the chicken kebabs are tender and delicious. Get the mixed grill though then you have everything. My wife's favourite place to eat out in Sheffield.

Lovely food, everything else was fine. There weren't many in and the staff didn't get involved in any conversation, but the food made up for it. I had Lamb's liver kebab which was unusual but very tasty.
