Nando's in Sheffield

Standard Nando-chain restaurant. It was quite busy as it was a Saturday evening and the food took quite a while. Ordering through an app, which I prefer to having to talk to a waiter. Food is the same as in other Nando-places. If you like chicken then you'll like this. If not, then there are not that many choices.

Harassed by two different members of staff if I’m finished when I was clearly still eating my food - once half way through my meal - didn’t appear to be asking anyone else. Won’t be coming back to this store. No real apology from the staff when I brought it up - offered more food which clearly I wouldn’t want to be hassled again or stay longer. They also backed the staff instead of thinking how a customer would feel if they were half way eating and were asked if they were done. And then asked again. No awareness of social anxiety and clearly would do it again to other customers.

Very good food and service my partner has anaphylaxis allergies the staff and management team were both helpful and thorough to make sure her food didn't contain any allergens or get cross contaminated with other foods prepared everything to a good standard swiftly and efficiently thank you all very much.

Veg burger was really nice but the chips were just horrible. They were like cheap oven chips you use at home. Nandos chips used to be so nice. Coleslaw has always tasted bland so no change there.

Fantastic food and great service. Thank you to Brad and his team that made our visit personalized and special. The food, service and ambience are not at all like in a fast food restaurant, they are dynamic and a fun experience.

I had a lovely experience at Nando’s today. The food was really good. Emma, the girl who served me was very kind, helpful and chatty. She provided excellent and fast service. Made my birthday meal very special, thank you Emma.

Nice layout and vibe. Greeted with a smile and accommodated my need for a table near a plug with no drama. Had just finished training and was super hungry do ordered immediately as I sat and didn't have to wait long at all for my food to arrive. Couldn't have asked for much more !

I have visited twice in two weeks, and there isn't any chicken. A Nando's without chicken, or at least waiting an hour for them to begin cooking. Some members of the management team are far too inexperienced and rude at this restaurant.

We was met by a lovely member of staff unfortunately we didn't get his name. He sat us at a table we regested. Ordered from our table on the app We had a nice waiter bring our meals and drinks to the table, he was very attentive. Rambo was his name ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rambo was extremely polite & made sure I had all the sauces I needed as well as made sure i didn’t need anything else. 5/5 Service.

Best nandos about, fast service and staff are second to none! Matt is a great manager here, as all the managers are and will use this nandos for the foreseeable! 5/5

Nandos Ecclesall Rd is usually (or used to be) top of my list for a quick decent meal, with good food and service, but i feel it's gone down hill somewhat. The food was average, portions was small and the cutlery had most definitely not been cleaned properly - (I had to clean myself via the water dispenser and tissues) I used to enjoy a Nandos but unfortunately i won't be returning again. Thanks

Dry old chicken re-grilled I ate crispy chicken but not a nice crispy but dry, if you pay £37.00 for two meals then you are far more critical of the quality and the SELF-service provided NOT going back ever again, The last time was about 4 years but forgot the same treatment then. A beer of 250ml at £4.25 is a rip off

Great nando's, great chicken, lovely staff and speedy service.

Refused to cancel my order when I told them they had the wrong address and proceeded to let the driver then deliver my order to the wrong address instead of me getting a refund.

Friendly staffs, Amazing atmosphere, great customer service . 10/10 Food as you all know its fantastic. One of my favourite place.

Outstanding service - we ordered wings and they had to cook some more which caused a delay, so we were offered a free starter each. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, even offering to refill our drinks which I've never experienced before at Nando's.

I came with a close best friend of mine last week; food quality and taste was much better than the centertainment one! The chicken was cooked to perfection! <3!! To say that’s my regular one, now I know which one I will be coming to. Staff were also lovely and accommodating, especially Peter! Thank you!!

I went with friends for a spot of chicken and had a lovely meal with great customer service throughout the evening. Our waiter Peter was very kind and provided brilliant service. He made the experience very enjoyable after an abysmal experience at a Nando’s in Manchester. Me and my family shall be retuning.

Just had the most pleasant nandos experience, all thanks to the lovely waiter called Pete. He went above and beyond for service and always making sure we had everything we needed. A true credit to Eccy Road Nandos!

Nice place to eat some Portuguese food, unfortunately prices are high compared to the portions you get, you end up getting extra sides to get filled up and that starts getting expensive 15-20£ per person

Just had the weekly date night with the mrs, decided to come to Nando’s best decision for sure. Greeted by Peter whos customer service was of the highest order what a lovely lad. Deffo recommend, great food even better service.

Always a good time at Nandos the chips are cooked well and my personal fav is the fino pitta. The new (limited edition) sauce vusa it is quite spicy but mixed with ketchup its the right amount of kick to it.

I ate there in the evening, no long before closing time the service was great and did not feel rushed at all. The food arrived very quickly! I have to say that the wrap was not great but I think it is down to personal preference. The garlic bread was rather on the dry side but the olives were amazing. The decor of this Nando’s is also great and even during a Friday/Saturday night parking is fairly easy!

Couldn't quite believe it upon opening my order. £8.25 for the dry, flavourless portion seen here with no additions - just the chicken and nothing else. Ordered chips also which were fine, but you know... they're chips, and they fairly obviously failed to make up for the sorry state of the main. Never been before, definitely couldn't justify going again. Bit of a bad joke really.

we came in today for my daughter 12 birthday party. Was greeted by friendly staff who went above and beyond to make it enjoyable celebration. Special shout out to Jack and the rest of the team for singing happy birthday for my daughter. Food was really good too.

We had a delivery last Sunday evening as wanted to try your new plant based options but it was really awful cold, soggy garlic bread, over cooked dry broccoli and the burger was missing tomato and very dry as was the pitta im not sure any of the lemon and herb was even used? we contacted the restaurant who told us to contact deliveroo even thought they made the food...??

We ordered a meal, got an order number. We drove down to collect our meal and were told our order had not been received. We KNOW our order was placed, but when we checked again online it had been deleted. Our view is that they just couldn't be bothered.

Pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and set out in a welcoming manner. Came into contact with two members of staff, both were friendly and efficient, the food was bought out in good time and was plentiful and tasty.

The other Nando's in Sheffield do not compare. Great staff, clean restaurant. I highly recommend a visit to this place when in the city.

I adore Nando’s, and as someone with coeliac I know it’s my go to safe restaurant! And it’s always delicious! I just ask for my order to be gluten free when I go to the til and the rest is taken care of! It comes with a little allergy sticker just to make sure too! I always get 4 chicken thighs with spicy rice and plain chips as the peri peri seasoning is not gluten free. However I am now told that it is as of this month as they’ve changed the recipe woo!

Absolutely brilliant! My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday.. When we arrived on a busy Saturday evening the table was ready and the staff had put some banners up for her which was a nice gesture. All food was gorgeous.. Served efficiently. Nothing too much trouble.. Even put candles on cake for us as I'd forgotten them. Will be visiting soon!

Good quality food which is genuinely Italian and with some nice variations on standard Italian dishes.

I should have checked Trip Advisor. Normally i dont bother as its just someones opinion, however how many people can be wrong. The reviews says it all without me adding but here goes. Mid afternoon not at all busy but cold chips and a chicken burger bun that was tough to eat. Not about the price as you dont mind if its ok food but wont be going back here. Looking at the reviews you would think that the corporate head office guys would be taking some notice. Big chain mentality of cant be bothered.

To start off the visit, it was good but as the visit went on, the food came and the garlic bread looked like it was from Asda or Tesco! Prices are not cheap. Don’t recommend.

Después de un par de amigos y yo estábamos pensando en hacer una gran cena de asado, nos dimos cuenta de que es un montón de problemas y problemas. Entonces decidimos que Nando's está a la vuelta de la esquina y queríamos ese sabor dulce y delicioso que todos conocemos y amamos. No nos decepcionó, la comida era hermosa, junto con el gran servicio que tuvimos. 5 estrellas.

I am a regular visitar to Nando’s but I usually got to the one in chesterfield and I was deeply disappointed by my trip,

Lo admito; No podía ESPERAR llegar a un Nandos. Este, en Ecclesall, es más grande de lo que esperaba, pero igual de amigable e igual de bueno. Sí, es técnicamente comida rápida (la gente que estaba conmigo lo había estado evitando durante meses debido a eso), sí, hay problemas con la designación de "tractor rojo" (criado humanamente) en el Reino Unido en este momento.

He comido aquí un par de veces y sé que es una franquicia, pero la oferta es mala. Es peri peri todo e incluso cuando se le da la opción de que no haya comida peri peri todavía llega a probarlo.

Desafortunadamente cada vez que vamos a este Nandos nuestro pollo SIEMPRE se quema. El restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío la última vez que fuimos y obtuvimos una orden para llevar y todavía de alguna manera se las arregló para quemarlas. Si quieres un buen Nandos ve a West Street. El mejor Nandos alrededor de Sheffield / Rotherham es Parkgate. La comida nunca se quema y siempre es realmente agradable, el personal es muy amable allí también. Desafortunadamente, dudo que vaya a venir de nuevo, quemar comida en alguna ocasión cuando está ocupado es perdonable, pero sucede todo el tiempo.

Acabo de experimentar el peor servicio al cliente posible de su gerente Rose en esta sucursal. Pedí una comida para llevar esta noche porque mi hija tiene un nivel A mañana. Ella vino conmigo para recogerlo. Se suponía que era una comida rápida. Llegamos a tiempo para la recogida de 1820 que nos dieron en línea. Le dijeron que serían 5 minutos. 15 minutos después no hay comida. Ella preguntó dónde estaba. Rose, malhumorada, explicó que aún serían otros 8 minutos. Entré y dije que quería presentar una queja. Rose dijo que no llenaría el formulario porque "le grité". Yo no. Increíblemente grosero. Eventualmente nuestra comida nos fue entregada con 25 minutos de retraso. El restaurante estaba vacío, pero aparentemente una orden de medio pollo era más de lo que podían. En un restaurante de pollo Pedí el número de contacto de la oficina central. Ella dijo que no lo sabía de memoria. Le pedí que lo consiguiera. Nuevamente malhumor puro. Nunca he experimentado algo como esto en Nandos. Ella dijo que no tendría sentido quejarse porque simplemente sería devuelto a su sucursal y ella no se ocuparía de eso. No alcé mi voz. Simplemente expresé insatisfacción en la espera y pedí un reembolso. Increíble.

This is a chain restaurant on Ecclesall Road. In concept it is a bit of halfway between a proper restaurant and McDonalds. The menu is mainly chicken based. The chicken is cooked well but I ordered medium but which I thought was very mild. You can order at the counter or via the waitress. This was not bad but it is not very different from many of the fast food chains in this part of Sheffield.

The food was so cold the buns where so hard the staff we usedless I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone

The food was lovely and the staff helpful and efficient but it was freezing - some customers even kept their hats on. We were told that there is a problem with the heating and the staff have many complaints - so the evening was spoiled as we were not comfortable- I live Nandos but won’t revisit this one for a while

You may disagree with me when I say it is expensive. I mean, it was nice, but I got a handful of chips and a piece of chicken with a refillable drink for £14. Maybe it's just me! But I always go cheaper. Nice restaurant.

Visited here at the weekend on our way back from castleton as this was the closest one and I really fancied one! Ordered 2 butterfly chickens, spicy rice, chips, garlic bread, perinaise and coleslaw with 2 refill drinks. Obviously prices are standard and tend to be the same in all restaraunts I have visited. Came to £28.30. I really like the fact that this particular one offers table service as all the ones close to me are till orders only - table service is much more pleasant.

My family and I were unsure where to eat late one afternoon, but weren't disappointed when we visited Nando's.

You can't ever go wrong with Nando's. We had really good service, and the food was brought out to us piping hot.

We go to Nando's regularly, different ones round Sheffield, this one on Eccy road used to be ok when it first opened, but honestly last few time been awful, it wasn't busy, but we watched our food stood under hot lights for 10 mins or so, until we prompted member of staff to bring it over, who at the time were stood chatting to other members of staff.... the food was barely warm.

Had been for Sunday dinner and was really good . Ordered whole chicken deal and chicken wings platter which was sooo filling and beuyifully marinated with some spicy sauce . Will be back soon.

Visitamos en una noche concurrida, pero todavía tenía buen servicio rápido de comida sabrosa y una mesa limpia y agradable volveré como éste está en un entorno agradable y fácil aparcamiento muy cerca al restaurante

Once you understand the menu and what/how to order, Nando's is just great. I now know exactly what to order and what to expect. I always ask for table service and find this much easier. The staff here are always pleasant and efficient. I find it a nice , tasty and relatively healthy fast food experience.

Now I'm not a Chicken man, but wowzers this Chicken was great! It was cooked through, (no pink) which is just how I like it. It's nothing like KFC (Kentucky Fried Style Fried Chicken) because my friends always say that it is, but it's not. The sides are just to die for - you can get pretty much anything you could desire. And WARNING the hot sauce is HOT! It should come with a warning! Extremely spicy, just how I like it. What an experience. Top notch

Great food as usual from Nando's, a much smaller portion of Halumi than usual. Chicken and rice and chips still as fantastic as ever - HOWEVER we nearly ended up seating ourselves, and the floor was fairly dirty - 4pm afternoon. Toilets weren't clean either and obviously hadn't been checked within the hour. We were also asked how our meals were within 30seconds of them being served. Overall 4/5 for food.2.5/5 for premises.Staff friendliness - 4/5 Organisation - 3/5Speed of service - 5/5!

Love this Nandos! Vibe is different to others across the country simply because they offer table service. Im sure its prettu much the only one in the country to do so. It gives it more of a restaurant feel. Staff are good and attentive. Probably as most are students and welcome a tip! Nice decor too. Good job!
