Ordered a roast, was told it would be 40 minutes wait which was fine. I told the person at the till that I would be sitting outside. I waited 45 mins outside, went back in to chase order to be told it would be another five mins. My food was then brought out by a server and he said I was difficult to find. I highlighted that I had already told the person at the till that I was sitting outside. There was only myself and one other table occupied outside. I tried to cut into the beef and couldn’t as it was tough. I managed to shred a piece and it was stone cold. I then tried a potato which was also stone cold. I went back in with the dinner asking for a refund. I had waited nearly an hour for cold food and now had no time left to wait for a replacement. The server never did come outside to find me or my order number sign so I assume they left the food on the side to get cold. I am that unhappy with the service and the cheek of the server saying I was difficult to find that I’m not likely to visit Busy Bees again for food or otherwise. Remove the outdoor seating if your staff cannot make the effort to walk outside. In future I’ll head to Brading for a home made roast for the same price and better reviews.

Popped in for breakfast as I had an early appointment nearby. I was only going to have a pot of tea and a pastry until I saw one of the cooked breakfasts being served. It looked great so I had to have one and I wasn't disappointed. It was excellent. I chose the largest option which is the Gardener's Breakfast. The quality of the items on the plate (bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, tomato, beans) was first class so it all tasted delicious. It was freshly cooked and presented well with two thick slices of toast and butter on the side. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'll be having it again. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the service was great.

Another excellent meal at Busy Bee Garden Centre Ryde. I have been visiting Busy Bees for many many years and it never fails to provide excellent quality food. Excellent menu and gorgeous cakes. Too be honest for quality and value I don't think you will find better on the Island. £18.95 a large quality meal, a gorgeous dessert and drink, excellent value in todays days. 5 star ☆☆☆☆☆ service as usual for quality, value and service. Well done Busy Bee, if only all businesses were run as good.

A large, airy cafe within a garden centre. They have a varied menu, and not expensive. We opted for quiche, chips and salad and the portions were generous. Two meals, 2 drinks were around £34 which we felt represented excellent value. Only complaint was that claim they offer 'homemade brownies ' but they are shop bought as we saw a waitress taking them out of the wrapping. Overall, good value, and will go again.

Stopped in here after trying other places for a light lunch, ended up only just making last orders for 1500. Top marks for the girl on the till for taking her time and not rushing us, thankyou so much, when you have 2 old people with you, 1 in a wheelchair rushing or panicking don't end well. Your calm unhurried approach was wonderful. A good sign but worrying for us was the fact many of the homemade dishes were sold out, however we were late in the day and still managed to get the last 3 that we wanted + a pizza. The beef and mushroom pie, tagliatelle, bacon and brie quiche + farmer Giuseppe pizza. All were excellent, served quickly while we enjoyed a coffee in the outside cafe seating area as we had a little dog. Take a bow Olive Tree and Busy Bee

We frequently visit the amazing Busy Bee Garden Centre and especially this time of year when the magical Christmas World is on. I would say the best display in the country. When inside we always pay a visit to one of the islands best eateries. Had the afternoon tea special, great value. Nice selection of sandwiches, cakes and scone plus a free tea top up Excellent value. Also we frequently visit on a Sunday afternoon for delicious Roast Dinners. For quality, value and service you won't get better than The Olive Tree in Busy Bee, Ryde. 5 Star ☆☆☆☆☆

From the outset the bar staff were friendly and helpful and could not be faulted the food was exquisite and the portion sizes were just right , the value for money was spot on. The ambiance with the view over the Solent as the sun went down was captivating Thank you Seaview Hotel for a memorable evening

This is a great 'out of the way' place to stop and have a quick bite to eat or drink, the cafe is set in the grounds of the abbey and there is seating inside and out. A lovely location on any day. There is a small menu of food available. Plus homemade cakes and hot drinks
