We asked Burt's to make up an order of celebration cupcakes for our staff who work on two sites. This included a vegan option which Burts went out of their way to produce including vegan sprinkles! We were delighted with the cupcakes which were exactly what we wanted using a rainbow theme and not only did they look good, they tasted really lovely.

First time I’ve ever had anything from here and all I can say is I will definitely be back again! Absolutely delicious ham hock with honey and mustard roll. Must try!

Can't walk past Burts without grabbing a cream filled Danish great for two to share but even better as a bit of a self indulgent treat... Love the subs and sandwiches for lunch or the hot sausage rolls and slices. Get in early as everything is fresh so can sell out by lunch

I used to grab a stone cold pie on a friday when I couldn't be bothered to make a packed lunch. Painfully slow service, low to mediocre quality, the tuna mayo I tried once was so salty it was almost inedible. Gave up on them and settling for tesco meal deals now.

Fantastic local old school bakers!

All pastries were stone cold. Even the ones they said they warmed up. Ginger bread man so hard kids couldn’t even bite into them. Wouldn’t recommend worst bakery I’ve been to.

I was surprised to walk straight in, there's nor ally a queue down the street! Love Burt's bakery, they're always so lovely and cater well for allergies and dietry needs ☺️

We stumbled upon this bakery when in Seaford on a day out. Luckily we got there just before closing time (watch out as it closes by 2pm!). We had seen a big queue earlier so decided to pop back before we went home. Staff were very friendly, items were great value, and we all loved our chosen sweet treats. I had a gingerbread and it was one of the best I've had. Delicious.

OMG what a Fabulous spread Karen prepared for our 120th Birthday celebration… Husband 80 Son 40! What magnificent array of sandwiches and pies…. But the sausage rolls were the most spectacular we saved a whole tray back from the guests 😂 I can recommend enough. We host a lot of “dos” and this was the best feast of all! Thank you all very much Lorraine

Fantastic bakery and wide variety of breads & cakes. Ready made rolls, posh sausage Rolls but you need to be quick they don't last very long. Great staff and good prices what more could you want .

This place supply me with bread, rolls and French sticks for my business in Brighton. Never had a problem with them and the produce is the best I’ve ever had. The cheesemite bread is out of this world.

The Cornish pastys are excellent way better than the real thing. Sausage rolls nice crispy pastry and all reasonable priced.. Apple turnovers - really disappointing - for those you do need to go to Cornwall !

This bakery has the most delicious food. The pastries and sandwiches are delicious. The sausage rolls are gorgeous, and they often have speciality fillings. The sandwiches are generously filled with a range of different fillings and they are always introducing new fillings. The cream filled doughnuts and Belgian buns are gorgeous for a naughty treat too!

We visit Burt's very regularly. all of the bread and rolls products are fresh everyday and excellent quality. The Belgian Buns are very, very, very addictive and really quite delicious!

It is a very well-loved bakery in Seaford, where the smell of fresh bread and cakes permeate the air when you are walking past.

Bath bun, a signature bake, very good. Moist, full of fruit and delicious with butter.

Really enjoyed the cream apple turnover. Haven't had one so nice for years. Will definitely visit again

Please support our local baker! Great place to get a huge selection of bread and cakes. Fresh made filled rolls. Hot pies. They will even slice your loaf for you.

I use this bakery regularly and the variety of bread on sale is excellent as is the range of hot and cold food. I particularly like their filled Tiger Baps which are delcious

Burt's is the kind of baker's I remember from my childhood.. a rare thing to find on the high street today. While being traditional they have a fantastic selection of breads cakes savory pastries and filled rolls all competitively priced. Please don't bother with supermarket rubbish when you have this gem of a shop available. Remember if you don't use them shops like this disappear from your high street. Burt's would be a credit to any town and Seaford is a better place because of it. If you shop or visit Seaford pop into Burt's I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Can’t beliebe the people who serve pick up the bread without disposable gloves on!, why not? not that shocking until you see them take the money with the same hands! Do they not realise/know how filthy dirty money\cash is! I stood watching several people being served. No hand washing in between serving. Shocking! obviously hygiene not important to them. Couldn’t eat my bread rolls. Had to throw them away.

Unacceptable service today. Waiting my turn to pay for goods, when someone behind me queue jumped. The young lady completely ignored me, carried on talking to the rude customer, even though I asked twice to pay for my items. Complete lack of awareness. This is why I left and went to another local bakery.

Great for fresh bread with a good selection. The sausage rolls come in different flavours and are a favourite in our family and if you are looking for a sweet treat there is always a good selection of fresh cakes.

Variety of bread available here is very good and they introduce new breads regularly. The scones and pastries are a delight and the cream cakes are huge. We normally have to share a cream cake as they are so big.

Burt's is a bakery that is a little off the beaten track from the main shopping area in Seaford, but is easy to find. There is a range of freshly baked breads, savoury and sweet snacks, as well as hot and cold drinks. Because it is so popular, be warned that the best produce tends to sell out early in the day.

Lovely fresh bread and cakes. The filled baguettes are very generous. If you like Marmite you must try the Marmite loaf...absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff..

I love the cakes from here they r always fresh. And u can tell they have been made that day. U have to get there before 2pm or lost of the cakes have gone they only do a certain amount. The only thing I would say is they always seem so peed off and sometimes forget there manners that's my only problem

I used to shop here way back, when it was Seaford Bakers in the 1970/80s. It is pricey now. I still buy bloomers in here occasionally, but the other loaves are not so good and don't keep well. None of it freezes well.

Para ser totalmente honesto, use únicamente cuando el esta panadería por la carretera está fuera de todo lo que me gusta. Este lugar me pareció ser más cara y de peor calidad. Todo, y quiero decir pasteles panes sándwiches, etc. siempre es un poco rollos duros como si's tale 'no mantequilla en rollos o sándwiches. Su Pizza cubiertas rollos son bonitas pero son rápidos para vender. Soy un pastel especialmente arreglé un vagabundo belga, pero aquí son asquerosas sinceramente difícil insípido guinda incluso sabe mal. Yo creo que esta será mi última visita a pesar de sus rollos de pizza son encantadores, prefiero ir a otro lugar para comer

If you're looking for a sandwich in Seaford then this is the place to go: extensive range, generously filled, and far better quality than you'll find in any supermarket. Some of their pastries are a treat, too, including good old-fashioned bread pudding.

I have never tried such a lovely cake they are the best . I would recommend any one to go here . I will never buy a super market cake again I will always get them from here . Xx
