I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Burger Max. I placed an order on New Year's Eve, eagerly waiting for a special meal. However, after an hour of anticipation, I received an update claiming my order was delivered – a blatant lie. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed to wait 72 hours for a refund. To my dismay, after the given timeframe, I was told the restaurant insisted the order was delivered. This sparked a month-long struggle, with multiple visits to the restaurant, where the owner persistently blamed Deliveroo and vice versa. Not only did I not receive my refund, but the owner's refusal to acknowledge emails sent to Deliveroo, as suggested by him, and the absence of any proof of delivery, including the delivery person's details, were further infuriating. Burger Max and Deliveroo have proven to be the worst, engaging in dishonest practices and providing no resolution. I strongly advise against ordering from Burger Max or using Deliveroo, as they have proven to be nothing short of scammers. I won't even wish to give them a single star but wasn't possible. Pathetic service and people!!!

Ordered 2 large lamb shish in pitta, one with chilly sauce and one with garlic for £11.99 each totalling £26.48 with delivery. Delivered 2 small wraps each with 5 tiny pieces of meat, a couple of slices of cucumber and tomatoes. Both had garlic sauce. Called restaurant, very dismissive and told can't help and to call the manager when he's in. When asked when he will be available, replied 'don't know' and when asked again, they hung up on me.

My daughter ordered food from here and the food never arrived. Called the restaurant and got told to call back at 6pm its the afternoon! The man I spoke to was rude had no common sense and doesn't even know how to handle disputes. Customer service is non-existent and going off of the complaints the food is just as bad, I want my daughters 30 pound back and I will never order from this dump again.

It’s a good place to take away and I didn’t give the 1 star coz whenever I get food they take a little long to cook and also they don’t have a bigger seating area for us to eat in . I’d say that they’re curly fries are good and they also serve good pizzas when you have a party and whenever I get food I get their curly fries and chicken shawarma with chilli sauce and garlic mayo it’s good . i ordered two burgers and on uber they said they both were served with chips but both did not get served with chips at all. The salad in the burger was also brown.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Took them 1 hour and 40 minutes to cook and deliver 1 pizza and some chips. All the extra toppings I paid for were missing so don't bother with that and the chips tasted like cardboard, also one of the meats on the pizza had a funky flavour. Avoid this place!

The place is right outside Brunel campus and has really good quality fast food for reasonable prices for students.

The food is delicious to match your expectations. If you have any specific dietary requirements, do let them know before you order. This is famous for serving Brunel University students who like to eat quick bites. I believe that without this place existing, all of us students won't have any good options otherwise.

Made an order on Just Eat and chose the ‘cash’ option. I had the cash ready for my order and then I got a call from someone from the store. Someone told me I needed to ‘pay for your order’ before they could send it out. I explained I chose the cash option to pay it with cash and not credit or debit card. They insisted on sending me a link to where I can send them my money. First of all this has dodgy written all over it. If I did this and didn’t get my food there’s no way of getting my money back without going to the police. It’s not a recorded purchase. They need to disable their cash option as they apparently don’t accept cash. I will be in direct contact with Just Eat later on in regards to customer safety as this is the dodgiest thing that’s ever happened. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Not only if you use cash but generally the place looks like it doesn’t know how to make food.

Food was ok, the food was cooked burger and chips were cooked great. They followed instructions. The kebab felt a bit too dry though but other than that great! They came quick packaging top notch. Just sort out the dry kebab :)

Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff, ordered a chicken doner and 6 spicy wings. I am telling u lot they really know how to treat you right, their chicken doner gave me a reason to live. If you ask me to rate this restaurant it would be a Michelin 5 star, 100% better than Gordan Ramsey’s uncultured food. I drove all the way from Liverpool to Uxbridge just to really enjoy myself and have the best food in uk. Guys trust me it’s so worth it defo should try them out!

This place is disgustinnngggggg!!!! Urghhh!! Ordered a margarita pizza and a strawberry cheese cake. The pizza was stale and cold, the cheese was hard. The strawberry cheese cake which is probably a cheap piece from Lidl has bits on it like small hairs and dirt. I actually feel sick for even taking a bite from this disgusting pizza as I am starving and had to wait 2 hours. I will be making a formal written complaint and will have this restaurant investigated. *Note to the owner* you can try and change the name of the shop, but you will always be shamed! How dare you get into the food business. Even prisoners will raise their noses to your quality of food.

Worst experience ever, do not order from them. They added chilli sauce into my doner kebab meal when I told them SPECIFICALLY not to as I have low tolerance to spice. I had one bite and my tongue was on fire, they can’t even listen to orders properly.

This restaurant is the WORST FOOD PLACE I have ever ordered from in my life. We had to wait and 1.5 HOURS for our food and it arrived COLD as well. Then we noticed our sauces were missing and called them to bring them. The employee we spoke to was very rude and told us there were no drivers available as they were about to close even though it was nowhere near the closing time! Then they told me to get a refund through UberEats which was not possible so we told them that but midway speaking they hung up on me. If it wasn’t for google I wouldn’t be even giving one star. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, BAD STAFF!

Seeing these reviews I’m shocked that this place isnt shut down! Ordered her last night as our first order from them wasn’t that bad, they were half an hour late on delivering the second time we ordered so rang to see where the order was. “The driver just left” they said. It took them 45 mins to get to my door when google maps say it should only take 20 mins, our food was stone cold and the burger was not what we ordered and chips where missing. The store changed excuses while talking to them on the phone. it was “some of the burger come with chips and other dont” to “the chips are with the burger” and said we are lying which baffles me cause chips were clearly not In the bag. Avoid the place like the plague!!

Just unacceptably terrible. Sent me the wrong food which was COLD and uncooked anyway. Complained for 4 weeks rang 6 times was constantly told I'd be called back, never was. Please don't ever go here. Their staff are horrible people

I wanted to try out the place and become a regular weekly Customer, I am now not coming back instead. 1) Meat was overcooked on the outside and raw inside. 2) Kebab presentation was prepared without any love whatsoever, just ugly to see and look at. Also awful to taste. 3) Ingredients on display are Weeks old. Tomatoes and Onion were plain dry. 4) They tried to charge me £10.00 for a £6.99 Kebab. I pointed it out and changed the value to £7.00 instead. Keep the Penny, you clever boy. I am not even bothering to talk about the service and treatment received.

I ordered 3 things from their menu and only one thing was right. The aero mint milkshake I ordered was a vannila milkshake and the Texan bbq burger I ordered came with nothing . Just two plain patties.

I ordered a vegetarian hot pizza here but the lady gave me an veggies pizza. When I asked for a exchange they said they can't do anything about it and refused to give me my order. Extremely dissatisfied with their customer service.

Ordered on Uber eats, took forever to come hence why everything was cold. Burger bun was cold wasn’t even toasted and tasted like it came out of the fridge. Kebab and pizza were burnt/overcooked, tasted awful! Do not recommend.

First of all, one of the employees gave my order to someone else then confidently tells me that I ordered something else. Then has the audacity to have me guess my order correctly to her for her to realise that it was my order all along, I would've been fine if she got it wrong because, I understand people can make mistakes but it's that fact she was rude about it and didn't apologise to me and the other person who she rudely ask to give it back.

This is the worst takeaway I've ever used, always a problem, apart from the rude woman that works there, there's no bread available, Lamb doner meat is dry and crispy, chicken is dry, you'd be lucky if the food is warm, I wouldn't even attempt trying a pizza.🤢

Absolutely disgusting. Sent me uncooked meat. Told me they didn’t cook my food. And it isn’t their responsibility. I should speak to Uber eats. I waited 1 hour and 45 mins for my order. I called the restaurant 4 times and 3 times I was hung up on and I was even put to the side. The last time I was hung up on mid conversation and said it’s not their issue. It’s Uber eats issue. Unfortunately they don’t know how to cook the food and as it doesn’t charge them. They’d like to just give you any scraps and blame it on Uber eats because nothing goes out of their pockets. Disgusting behaviour and disgusting food which went straight in the bin as everything was cold and inedible.

We used this place for many years, originally called Burger Plus but now Burger Maxx. Never again after last 2 visits. Each time after ordering plain burger and chips, they put cheese on the burger. Chips must have been cooked 30 minutes before as almost cold and gone brown. Today the 2 staff were both ignorant and rude so finished with this shower once and for all. Back down the road to Galaxy burger and kebab. Worth the extra drive

Me and my work colleague ordered a mixed doner and a chicken wrap and it was delicious. Only snag was that they only put chilli sauce and no garlic mayo or salad. Both portions were very generous though.

They did not even bother deliver the food to my hotel. They cancelled the order and charged me for it, even though there was a hotel reception 24/7. Very dishonest. Avoid.

Would give 0 stars if I could - no order arrived, would not answer the telephone to me, waited over 2 hours for our order. If you didn’t want to take our order that’s fine, but don’t take my money and not deliver. Requested a refund through just eat.

I'm gutted because we have ordered here at least 5 times before no problems. Ordered a kebab. There are 2 sets of options requesting sauce. I don't want any sauce due to allergy intolerance. On the first set of options there is a "no sauce". Great! I clicked it. On the second set of options there is no "no sauce". I put chilli sauce and put in the notes box for allergies specifically "DO NOT PUT ANY SAUCE ON THE KEBAB". I get my order and lo & behold there Is chilli sauce on it. I call up burger maxx and they stated we didn't put anything on the order. It is on the receipt and our online receipt under allergies. The guy then back tracks and states I didn't state what not to put chilli sauce on. I literally stated not to put chilli sauce on the kebab. We ordered 1 kebab. They refused to do anything and said "go through just eat not through us". The place takes no responsibility for this and basically just fobbed us off and doesn't care for their own standards. I'm gutted because I used to love the food here but will have to go elsewhere. I have all screen grabs of the receipt and the recorded phone call so if they want to contest this review then go ahead.

Placed a order last night at around 1.20am had still not arrived by 4.30am when i went to sleep, placed order thru Uber Eats complained this morning and got refused a refund as they said they rang several times which maybe true as used my daughters account so its connected to her phone ands she was asleep but they never knocked at my door my son was awake till 6am and he said no1 knocked between when i went to sleep and he did so no1 arrived at my property and actually knocked on the door in @least 4 1/2 hours food is good when u actually receive it don't think I've ever had a delivery from them that has ever been correct

So i ordered a meat lasagne and ended up with this. It was burnt and dry and just honestly made me feel sick i had to throw it away which is horrible because i hate wasting food. I made the mistake of reading the reviews AFTER making the order, 15 pound down the drain.

Rubbish food. I ordered chicken shawarma wrap and they sent this???? Its fried chicken cut into little pieces in a tortilla wrap with just mayo and lettuce? Thats not what it says on menu. Waste of money and food!! When i bit into this i had oil on my face from the fried chicken…. Its all going in the bin!!

Ordered a 12 inch spicy tandoori chicken pizza and a Ferrero rocher milkshake. The pizza arrived cold and hard only ate 1 slice and rest in the bin.. the appearance of the pizza looked like it's made by someone not even interested in food quality standards. Looking at centre of the pizza it seems like someone putting pressure on with their fist and when looking at the dough.. its thin as paper in the centre with hardly any topping on. They did manage to get it delivered at the time they said it will be but seems like it had been out with the driver on few other deliveries before it arrived to me. I am not pleased sorry.

Food was delivered at 4:50 AM when ordered at 2:40 AM to which then the food was freezing the cheese had welded to the chips which weren’t cooked properly and also dry the meat in the burger looked raw and out of date and the wrap came with onions which was never stated on the website and when ordering a redbull take note that they send a monster - have requested a refund

Where do I begin... an hour and a half late would be a good place to start... however I wish it had never arrived. If I had to choose between eating this again and being an active participant in the next human centipede I would 100% choose being in the centipede. I called 4 times to check the order and every time was 5 minutes away but never arriving within five minutes. When what I can only describe as prison food arrived it was freezing cold and tasted like cat food with less flavour. I am not one to leave bad reviews but if this food could be described in one word it would be DIABOLICAL. DO NOT ORDER. SAVE YOUR STOMACH. (EVEN DRUNK STILL TASTES JUST AS TERRIBLE). I hope it comes out of me quicker than it arrived and I can guarantee would probably taste better.

chips was very soggy weird looking coated with crumbles from fryer i had chips mixed with nuggets and my tuna wrap was very wet that half the tortilla turned into dough and they didn't put my corn on the cob i payed £20 for an order that was dashed in the bin waste of money and time

Food was late. Rang them. Told it was on its way. Only 7 minutes drive away. So thought fair enough. 20 minutes goes by. Ring again. He says says its still on its way and to be patient. Another 10 mins I ring again. He says the road is flooded. So to wait 15 more minutes. (Googled it, no problems on any roads). So 1hr 10 minutes late they turn up with the incorrect items. Food is stone cold. How can a kebab shop not get 2 kebabs right? Mental

The food over the last 2 delivery’s have been vile, we let it slide the last time as we enjoy the burgers, but tonight the buns are from frozen but passed frozen so there no longer edible, the chips as they say are a complimentary gesture need gone! They are disgusting. For the late night place to come too please think about re thinking the way you cook your food and think about the customers as considering the rating your already getting you clearly are not!
