Burger King in Norwich

Honest experience today, shocking. Ordered 50 pounds worth of food, 4 meals. Got home and a burger was missing. 20 mins home,my partner, disabled didn't have her meal, so I went back. I'm not gonna sit there and eat when she hasn't Another 40 ish min journey, to replace a burger which was their mistake. I would come home to a cold meal. When I explained 'accidents happen' I'm OK, but please replace 2 meals now, I'm told 'can't do that it's classed as theft'. . Why I had to pay petrol to rectify their mistake, is that not classed as theft too???? Kfc and mcdonalds, name dropping now, have rectified their mistakes suitably, seems bk don't follow suit

Awful. If your business is revolving around cooking one thing you would expect it to be expert at it. But no. My 'chicken' burger was burnt to a crisp. The whole thing was dark brown and devoid of any moisture. I rarely buy junk food but was in a rush and I will never be tempted to drive through again. What a waste of £20!

Went here a couple days ago and the food was awful one of employees Meg was so rude to me and talked in a degrading manner very disappointing especially since I liked Burger King aswell

I ordered food from here on the app to be delivered. I didn’t receive my order and have been trying to contact the sweet briar road Burger King all evening yesterday and no one would pick up the phone. There is no one else to call, terrible customer service. How can I get my order or my money back

What a rip off. Too pricey for what you get and the food was cold and disgusting. Staff were like zombies. Never again.

Called in here for lunch on Sunday after visiting a nearby car showroom and leaving pretty hungry. Ordered two Chicken Royale meals with chocolate milk shakes. The food was poor quality, thin bits of chicken soaked in mayo with a bit of lettuce, chips that were not hot and tasted as if they'd been cooked the day before and when I queried the colour (white) of the chocolate milk shakes I was told the 'machine wasn't putting the colour in'!!! Well I've got news for the Burger King staff here.......it wasn't putting any chocolate in either! I'm amazed this place does any trade, it's a poor advert for Burger King and in future I will stick to McDonalds.

Ordered on line for pick up, only a mile away. All went through and it said pick up by 10.30 we joked and said it will be dead by then. went almost straight away, yes got home within two minutes and it was no joke, it was stone cold. Will sit in next time and if its not up to standard or cold, will cause a lot of s+++

Visited last night with my girlfriend. What a wrong move going there the quality of the food was disgusting cold, tasteless, inedible to say the least. Also the staff were like the cast of Grange Hill totally preoccupied with their selves and not customer focused I’m afraid will not be returning

One of the worst fast food eateries I've eaten in! cheeseburger cold ! Returned and explained issue! Another made. No surprise to find this cold too!! Establishment cold and dismal. To summarize briefly.. inedible food. Place cold and dirty. Expensive. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Macdonald's far better and cheaper. Sorry BK, sort urself out!

I’ve had plant based whopppers last couple of times, because they’re pretty tasty I’d forgotten how far superior a BK Whopper is to a McD Big Mac, in every respect.

Was feeling hungry and fancied a nice burger, called in to this outlet, ordered 2 burgers with nothing else, came to over £10. When we got them home, which was only 2 mins away. The burgers inside were cold and could not believe that burger king sold now wafer thin burgers. The burger roll was dry and when you tried to open up the two buns the roll just fell apart. So it was obvious these had been made up and stored in the warmer for unsuspecting people like myself to purchase such utter c--p. Won't be going there again. I can assure you.

If only the kids liked Burger King. The plant based whopper is tasty and good value on Whopper Wednesday at £1.99. The app works better than McD’s and they’re not as prone to mistakes as KFC and McD’s.

I prefer this over McDonalds. Better tasty food. Better nuggets, Bigger burgers, Get more fries too. Milkshakes have more taste than McDonalds.

£1.99 on the app for a crispy chicken burger and less than 550kCals isn’t too bad all things considered. I had not had junk food for a while and I can report it tasted great!

Chicken Royale on the app £1.99, probably the best dressed, least squashed one I’ve had from here and it didn’t break the bank.

Well I went in to Burger King yesterday evening to order and collect a few meals, I was at the wrong till but wasn’t told I had to go another, I placed my order meal was not told sorry for the wait no up sell nothing…, there where staff shouting at each other thought I’d walked in to a nursery play ground this was a joke no leader ship no control, I also suffer from anxiety which then set this off, I’ve worked for bk many years ago and loved it what’s happened?? Other sites I’ve been to no issues at all, this site is a utter joke and I’ll be emailing the restaurant my self also

Plant based Whopper meal isn’t vegan or vegetarian… this is the first time I’ve been told this, as it happens, I am neither, I’m just trying to reduce my carbon impact (albeit by a fraction) and eat less red meat. But has something changed? I’ve not been told this on any previous visit.

2 whoppers for £8.49 through the app is good. I also bought the Junior King as we couldn’t buy a burger by itself through the app, I’m glad this was for an adult as the ‘toy’ was a few tacky stickers

They can’t quite get the bun not to taste liked dried out sponge but the burger is spot on, this is another happy swap for me.

I’d definitely recommend using the app for a discount. The Whopper is a tasty big burger and with code APP35 I got the full meal for £4.99.

Ordered on app stood there for over twenty min while at least ten different delivery drivers came and went finally got my food thrown on to counter no sorry for the wait as I was waiting it looked to me like total chaos looks like...

The chicken sandwiches come squashed and the Mayo tastes fishy. They don’t do the drinks on draft at the moment, but every visit of late the bottles of coke they give out are warm. It is quite a scruffy looking restaurant.

Visité ayer. Este es el BK más cercano a mí y a 30 millas de distancia, por lo que siempre es decepcionante hacer el esfuerzo y con la boca abierta hasta el final para terminar sintiéndome poco cambiado. Any fast food chain you know what you will get unless they have bad management and staff. This is certainly one of the better Burger Kings at the moment so go on give it a go.

Took my son here today and I got him a triple bacon burger and I got myself the triple whopper. The bun was soggy with grease and so was my son's I took them both back and got asked if we wanted fresh replacement's so I accepted and when we got the so called fresh ones my son's was better but mine was just as bad as the last one so I went back and the manager said he make sure they are made fresh so I lifted the burgers and said it don't look very fresh to me and asked him would he eat it to which he couldn't answer and he started giving attitude so I demanded my money back and I got it. I will not be coming to this burger king ever.

Hangover food, with a delicate head and no appetite for cooking, this seemed the easy option to grab two whopper meals for £7.99 and add the frozen Oreo milkshake and Kit Kat shake'ems to really combat that hangover.

I ordered a takeaway at the weekend. The staff have no customer skills whatsoever. I used the drive through for quickness, I ordered a whopper meal, my coke was overfull and spilt in my car. I counted my chips and there were 17.

wife went to this joke of a place at 10pm which is an hour before they close and she was told that only chicken items are available.. It's a Burger joint not KFC, I will no longer be going to this joke of a drive-thru

Quick visit with the kids. Not manty parking space. Small restuarant but managed to get a seat and parking space. Used our spree vouchers so good value for money. As good as a burger king can get. Filled a whole.

When me and my partner arrived, they immediately locked the door behind us to prevent other customers coming in. We where then informed that the drains where 'coming up' in the kitchen therefore can't have anymore customers in, they then ignored customers that where trying to get in, rather than informing them of the technical issues, they didn't even write a polite sign stating the issue, leading my partner to inform the confused customers of the problem that where waiting outside. Throughout our meal all of the staff where rude and seem to have nothing to do, they where standing around talking, one member of staff in particular didn't move the entire time we where there, staring into space right in the customers view. As we where there they also managed to get nearly all of the customers they did manage to serve, orders wrong, in which lead to multiple complaints. The restaurant itself was a mess and dirty, food under all the tables and behind the counter looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. Safe to say we where very disappointed and won't be returning to Burger King again.

We keep seeing the deal on tv for the burger, chips and drink for £3.99 so we were in the city shopping and decided to get this for lunch . It looked nothing like the picture , nothing like the advert . The burger was dry the salad was past its best and it had been thrown together at break neck speed. The fizzy drinks were both flat . A really disappointing meal and we won't bother trying it again . The staff all had no enthusiasm the girls had long hair all hanging down not in hair nets . Burger King really needs to sort out there Castle Mall branch out

Generally, staff seem to want to be elsewhere, busy talking to each other when customers to be served. Seem to excel in getting order wrong. Food generally cold. Only went there as was raining and didn't want to walk to McDonalds.

We popped in on our way home at around 5.00pm and were surprised when we found it completely empty. However, when you are hungry that's a good thing. The staff were very helpful but not really up on their products. I was really hungry, so I asked what was their largest burger? They suggested a quarter pounder cheese burger, which I agreed to have. Not for a little while did I realise that there are in fact bigger burgers available.That said, the place was clean and efficient. Access and exit from the car park can be very tricky, so beware. All in all, a good visit.

I have only tried this branch and the one in the Castle Mall so I'm not too familiar with burger king. This one was pretty decent, the food was very good (a nice change from mcdonalds) and was hot when we ordered it (from the drive thru) and everything was quick/well put together. You get quite a lot for your money at burger king and the cheese quarter pounder I had was very flavoursome and delicious! The drinks were quite overfilled which was a little annoying and did get a bit messy in the car but this wasn't a big deal. I would happily use restaurant again!

Great little BK - friendly staff, not too big, and great burgers. Can be a bit difficult to park if you are eating inside.

I used the drive through as I thought it would be a faster option , one car in front of me and the service was slow . Talking to the guy through the speaker system was a joke as he had no clue at all and didn't know the menu , my order was wrong and over priced absolute joke and the staff are just clueless , also I'm sure my burger had been sitting for along time as it was drier than a cream cracker with no butter

Went to this restaurant for a breakfast a few weeks ago and the staff could barely be bothered to serve us and were not able to answer basic questions about their menu. On this occasion the food was also below the standard of Burger King.

Visited this burger king today at 2.00pm service was extremely slow although they seemed to have a sufficient amount of staff all very miserable and had no customer service skills what so ever. I placed my order with a very disinterested lad and when he had finished my order he didn't ask if I required any sauces & forgot to include the onions rings that I had asked for.Food was cold and onion rings were soggy - certainly won't be going back!!

Stopped here for lunch. No water, no hot chocolate, no sprite. One person serving 6 people waiting. No toilets had to go next door the little chef.I will not return here

Came here to find only one person serving behind counter with 6 people waiting,I waited nearly 10mins to be served and that was only because I shouted for a manager to help out,when I finally got food(mushroom double cheese burger)it was wonderful really tasty but the very slow service lets this place down.

Not been here in a while last time was buzzing with customers, busy, alot more staff and fast service as it should be!!This visit was quite the opposite having got through front door on a windy day stopped myself tripping over the curled up scruffy mat inside, The atmosphere was non existant 1 other customer on busy meal time sitting and 2 at till servers looked no more than 16 so slow glum like an effort to take order.Very expensive compared to McDonalds food was only warm and tasted quite bland to be honest.Certainly not fast food nor welcoming.

What do people expect from a review of a Burger King ? If you have never been - its a fast food restaurant specialising in Burgers. The food is cheap and reasonable. In busy periods the tables won't have been cleared well enough - but mostly its fine

The food there is amazing but surprisingly slow for fast food. The lady on the counter had to have my mum repeat herself 3 times before she actually wrote it down. She kept saying, " so what was that again?" In a tone that gave me the idea she didn't wamnt to work there at all. It's a bit strange having it right next to a petrol station, you probably know why, and it's always freezing! Other than that I love their burgers and they do very nice smoothies.

Whilst working nearby called in. Some of the reviews are pretty bad but to be honest found it a pretty reasonable place - burger i had was tasty better than the 'other lot', service was friendly and the price was reasonable not sure what more you want from basically a burger bar

The smell hits you before you walk in. Not in a good way. It just smells rank and tired. Quite a few workmen in from the business park building site across the road, I queued, and sued, only three of us in the line but nothing going on it seemed. Everywhere seemed covered with a fine layer of grease and or perspiration.After I saw the second Irish labourer throw his meal in the bin unfinished I pressed the eject button and left. Three times I've tried to have something decent to eat there, I'll stop giving them chances.How can a company so big, even if it's a franchise, get it so wrong. It's too small to even be an eat in really, maybe they show cash in their chips and make it drive through only and maybe they'd improve, or sell it to Costa.

I could not believe the poor standard of cleanliness, state of food and disinterested staff. A child had vomited near the entrance and no-one seemed bothered to clean it up straight away. As I was getting a takeaway and was very hungry I decided to remain and eventually ordered a whopper meal that took ages and the meat was cold and tasteless - my worst experience ever as I am loyal to the BK Chain who have served me well elsewhere, notably Barton Mills, on my travels. I will never visit this branch though again

burger king near sweetbriar norwich..filthy dirty place.never again.a blonde girl eventually came out n wiped a couple of tables...but used same dry ish cloth for all tables,so just wiped bacteria from one to the other...cross contamination ...have you not been trained>?????disgusting.....some kids had made a mess and she left that all over the bench seats..milkshake and ice cream for customers to sit on....backs of chairs on everyone were filthy as well...floor disgraceful...you should all be retrained..or should I say trained!! please please sort it out guys...I know you are only kids but this isn't an excuse.

Very popular Burger King, but I don't know why. Burger was tasteless, fries OK and drink alright. Toilets OK. Access for vehicles VERY tight. I won't be using this joint again.

Had the steak burger meal with vanilla milkshake would recommend both. Wish the burger was bigger though. Burger was delicious as was the shake. Love the chips. And the barque sauce very filling.

Burger king within thickthorn services A11/A47. Avoid at all costs. visisted on two occasions but never again. staff rude, incorrect orders and cold food. main items always not available. Manager and staff arguing in front of customers. maybe Mc Donalds not quite as good quality food but staff better trained and customer service good. its a bit further up A47 but worth the extra drive

Food was ordered and quiet so expected fresh. Unfortunately no, cold burger, just added cheese to it.Manager did refund when saw I was reviewing on trip. But only then.Used to be one of best burgers of the chains not now.

This is my local Burger King and has been for nearly a decade. I have never had anything really bad to say about them, so tonight I decided before I went that I would write a review of my experience of buying takeaways for a family of four. I picked a bad night. The service is always friendly and helpful and they provide starter employment for many of the youth in our community. Tonight was no exception and the young guy was helpful and respectful. The whoppers were good as always and the chips I enjoy but my family doesn't. The two star rating comes from a drinks mix up where I asked for 2 reg cokes and a diet and got 2 diets and a regular. He forgot my onion ring side but was very apologetic when I pointed it out. But they were awful. They tasted like re-fries and were like rubber rings whereas they are usually quite nice. Will I go back. Heck yeah, as long as they are the only place making whoppers! When you go there you're not expecting The Ritz, so long live the local Burger King.

discusting, dried up or cold, staff do not care, and i would quirie the health and saftey, food saftey, as staff touching faces, body parts wilst serving. my food went in the bin disgusting. a health worry there. bins overflowing in car park, staff in kitchen uniform emptying bins smoking and the seen handling food without changing uniform! Just hope they did wash there hands.......

Good food but experience thoroughly spoilt by rude, mumbling staff who made you feel that you were wrecking their day by daring to come in. It really was so off-putting that I'm reluctant to recommend.

Burger King is in Norwich and is a place where you get what you expect and that is burgers. Their burgers are always so much better than McDonalds and much tastier. The service was very fast and it is an ideal place to go is shopping in the city. Again it is liked by the younger folk and is usually busy.
