Burger King in Wirral

How am I ordering food at 6:30pm that says it'll be delivered by 7:20pm on a Wednesday then it goes to 8:30pm and not one single person is answering the fuking phone. Honestly places like this where the workers literally drool out there mouth and can't do the most simple task. Doesn't surprise me. Anyway here's a 1 star to further add to the disappointment of 99% of the bottom feeders working at fast food joints! ❤️‍🔥

Ordered a home delivery food arrived cold and items missing or substituted called helpline told would refund never got refund disappointed to say the least

Actually we had to have a kfc take out after ordering on your app at 7-10 and driving 6 1/2 miles to your Bromborough store to pick it up to be told as a matter of fact by your abrupt staff that I’d have to pick up my purchase tomorrow (( really ??)) as they were closed and it is unfortunate for me that they can’t change closing times on the app… how silly of me to order within the advertised opening times. Disappointed I asked for a refund to be told that it was up to me to sort out myself on the beloved app. Which we don’t seem able to do. Your staff were lazy, shoddy abrupt and rude and how dare they treat me in this manner. In the modern world I cannot believe you operate an app that cannot be updated to the correct opening times, again lazy and shoddy. Please inform at earliest opportunity to how we get our refund back for the meal we paid for in good faith but were denied because of poor business policy. How dare we be treated so flippantly by lazy customer service attitudes. For these reasons I shall look elsewhere to get takeaways, but I will persist to get our refund and if I am still disappointed I will be contacting appropriate authorities as I am within my rights to do.

Staff look fed up. Obviously not enough of them. Probably quicker to buy food from Asda, go home and cook it there. Food is slightly warm when you finally get it. Coke is always flat. Today, the drive-through was closed because not enough staff. Always like this not a one off

My grub was decent. Hot and tasty. Took about 5 mins which isn't long unless you're well busy?. Some mad reviews about the cost . It's burger king not le gavrouche .

I went on Thursday at approximately 8:15pm and ordered the Chimichurri chicken burger. The server was really nice but unfortunately I have had food poisoning all weekend! I only had cereal on Friday as I felt a bit off and the sickness began Saturday so it's definitely this place. I have been here a few times but I'm not going anymore. Please be careful going here.

Sincerely rude individual, to the point of challenging behaviour. Disgraceful!!!! Especially when children are around

Waited 30mins for my partner's food to arrive at the drive thru! Inside the restaurant didn't even look busy and there was a long queue on the drive thru. Wasn't sure what was going on that night but we came at a bad time I think. I ordered a Maccies click and collect to pick up aswell. Should've waited until my partner got his food before ordering Maccies. OR gone to Maccies instead!

Very clean helpful staff nice place to eat

Food cold and over priced , no one in there so not excuse for cold food ! Decor looked good in there " all the gear but no idea " the whopper patty was so thin and the kids meals didn't even come in a box ! Won't be back . Hardly anyone in the there but McDonald's was rammed now we know why !

Some serious staff training is required. What happened to good old fashioned manners, like please and thank you? Calling customers “love” isn’t warm and friendly.; it’s outdated and patronising. Mix that in with a portion of sardonic sarcasm and you are left feeling like you’re a bit of an inconvenience, someone who needs to know their place. Judging by previous reviews, appalling customer seems to be the norm here and something which is tolerated by Burger King.

This has got to be the slowest Burger King ever. The drive thru is a joke. In McDonalds on the same retail park you fly through the drive thru in a matter of minutes no matter how busy it is but this must take about 10 minutes for each car. It’s ridiculous.

Waited 20mins just for the food to come cold and missing two meals. Shocking service aswell very rude staff

So we went for a drive through, ordered a whopper meal the hubby had a different burger, took our order went to the first window, paid and then waited almost 10 mins for the food to come out, sitting there with a queue slowly building behind us, we eventually got the food & went to a parking space to eat it, it was lukewarm & the chips wouldn't have even been the size of a small fries never mind a large, both packets were tiny & only half full. We spent 20 quid & we were both hungry again an hour later. Wont be going there again in a hurry, very very disappointing visit.

Waited ages to place order wasn't even busy...then ages for food when it did arrived it was either tepid or cold.... no didn't take back as waited so long & granddaughter was complaining about wait as she was hungry....would never go there again

This is the worst burger king I have ever been too, service dreadful. I went through the drive thru and waited 20 minutes after ordering for fast food. Joke. Poor staff I could see talking not working while I was waiting and then told me to wait around the corner for the burger. Also drive thru is poorly made and is a hazard to cars.

The last time I went to the drive thru i wasted the whole of my 30 minute lunch break. If that's not an indication of how slow they are in there i don't know what is.

Nothing special, expensive for what you get

Extremely slow service. I've been waiting 10 min and no one has even spoken to me. Edit: come again and was totally ignored for a good 10 mins at the payment window before anyone ever acknowledged me. Very poor service

Sorry why ask for what you want, then get home to find you just paid over £10 for the wrong burger, cold food? What made it worse was someone coughing all the way through getting food and drink ready. Need to do better now you got another burger place closer. Poor Service, no care taken, what about good customer service? Why did I not go back, just could not be bothered to go through the same poor experience again. I will take my money to another place.

Was only 2 familes in there and still happened to have messed my order up

Ordered at point of entry. Then waited ages for the food. Burger cold. Husband given the wrong food. Only a handful of customers in there so no excuse for the wait or being given the wrong order. Won't be back

I went with my daughter food was great restaurants was lovely and clean manager was amazing at her job

We received are food really quickly and the staff were lovely really pleased not to busy at the time we visited, clean toilets also

Really poor service, young staff slagging me off coz ask for more chips after a confused order from them, girl serving was polite but I could here the kitchen staff slagging me off and giggling like a gang of teenagers getting drunk in the park, really not professional or a present experience, the work environment was more about a social gathering than taking the job seriously, be 5 guys for me next door when it opens won’t be back here again

We had great time in here today our experience was so great we had to visit this place again for sure. Brilliantly order taken well greeted one who served us went beyond to get warm water for our little child because she was poorly with cold and flu. Everyone did beautifully work ..

We love coming to this Burger King with the kids! the staff are friendly, service is fast and the food is always piping hot!

We ordered to an abrupt staff member and only had 1 car in front of us at the drive-thru, we thought great we’ll get served quick. Not a chance! 30 minutes later we were still waiting, the poor car in front had drank their drinks from what we could see and ended up taking meal anyways. We drove to the window and asked how long it would be, they said another few minutes. We gave up and drove to McDonald’s instead where we were in and out with food in 5 minutes. Also on previous visits to this Burger King our food has been cold but it had been a while so I thought I’d give them another go. I now won’t be going back to this branch which is a shame as I like Burger Kings food. I think the management at this one needs to step up!

Great burgers, really tasty. Quick service, but it was really quiet, so expected. If you like a burger, we'll worth a visit.

Great service, lovely food and cleanliness was ok. Everything was great and would if been 5 stars, until I went to the toilets to wash my hands and they were unisex :( I was going to use the loo but everyone had wee all over the seat and decided to hold on. Men have urinals for that reason!! Please reconsider this as it's absolutely disgusting and women don't really want to share safe spaces with men.

5 people working behind the till, no one in the drive thru, 2 customers in the queue and it still took 12 minutes to get a standard meal prepared and served. Appalling.

Shocked to be leaving a 5 star review for a BK. My last BK experience was so bad (Norfolk Airport, Virginia) that I haven't been back in a decade! But this Bromborough branch was a very pleasant surprise. Ordered a double Whopper and it was just excellent. Definitely better than anything I've had at McDonald's. The only downside is that the patties still look truly weird to me. But I can't argue with the taste of the overall burger due to the super-fresh toppings and general quality of the Whopper. French fries also a nice surprise. Freshly hot and very tasty. Five Guys is opening up next door and 48 hours ago I'd have said they're going to wipe BK off the map in Brom but having had plenty of Five Guys over the years I honestly think the Whopper can compete? Might actually be a superior overall sandwich somehow? But again, as long as you don't look at BK's martian-style patties! I was perhaps most shocked by how friendly the staff were. The Bromborough McDonalds folks aren't a bad lot but they all seem like they're only there to serve out a community service sentence? I'm not sure if they're really good at hiring or maybe BK has an unusually good work culture but either way I was impressed and hope it stays that way.

As always meal hot unlike that other lot beginning with M. Staff not that observant, stood at counter whist meal going cold back at table, as no sugar or sweeteners, or stares. Staff in front of me preparing a takeaway drink, but does not take two of them. Gave up waiting, shame they let the side down too busy talking.

Haven't been for years. Burger and fries were nice. The coke was not coke. Taste like cheap cola. Also a bit expensive for what it is.

We were the only people in the restaurant, yet the burgers looked like they had been thrown together... McDonald's style!

Great service and the food was hot and tasty

First visit was through the drive in. Friendly staff but ridiculously long wait, and the road is extremely narrow for a larger car. Second visit was to eat in. Miserable staff could have done with cracking a smile if you’re front of house. Food was cold and if we hadn’t have been so hungry we would have left it. Oh, and ignore all the signs that say card only. We were asked how we were paying, card or cash!!!! Won’t be returning.

Came here at a very busy time and found the manageress very friendly, helpful and helped sort out our issues with the app. Food was extremely fresh and tasty as well. All in all a great visit

Burger was cold went straight in the bin.

£18.98 for 2 flame grilled burgers and 2 teas, place empty. Burgers barely lukewarm, unfortunately had driven off before opening, passengers eating the burgers on move not impressed with barely lukewarm warm food. Place empty, yet they still couldn’t deliver hot food, tea was OK. Won’t be using Burger King again. Expensive rubbish!

Excellent food as usual. Drive-thru service was a bit slow and there only seemed to be one person working - but she did a sterling job.
