Burger King in Arun

I have written this review on Google, BK complaints and now here, so forgive it's bluntness. Robert the manager (bank holiday Monday 26th) was rude, judgemental, confrontational, antagonistic, dismissive and unapologetic in almost that exact order. Please consider that all of this was in response to a a general enquiry being made about a promotion after a full order had been made at the kiosk with no issues After completing and paying for 4 adult orders, I noted to Robert the manager that there was no option for the free kids meal on the kiosk. He seemed excited to tell me "that's not how it worked, you don't just get a free meal" with no other explanation until I challenged this confrontational demeanor, insisting it was unnecessary as I was not complaining, just enquiring. Things escalated from there as Robert overheard a portion of my griping to a family member about the experience I'd had so far and insisted that I tell him what I had said to my family member. I did, Robert disagreed and this culminated in me and my family feeling it would be best to eat in the car.

Disgusting, sat I'm my car outside of burger King and just watched two members of staff outside smoking . The young lady moved away from the store but the young lad stood outside an open kitchen door vaping and blowing the Vale smoke in to the kitchen . Whilst sat here I have rung the number 3 tines and each time it's been person unavailable. So I've taken photos of him smoking and I'm reporting it to environmental health first thing in the morning. Unacceptable . And no way am I going in there again

The last time we went, the staff tried to force us to use the screens to order, despite them standing around doing nothing. Today's visit actually got served by an expressionless person who didn't speak....along with two of his speechless colleagues. We placed our order which was wrong.....and whilst we waited, we tried to scrub down the table we sat at. Food didn't taste good. Staff chatting, place was empty.....and filthy. Amazes me how it still has 5 star hygiene rating GONE RIGHT DOWNHILL!!!!!!

probably the worst burger king i've ever been to.. They were more interested in going home than cooking food all .that were waiting were P'ed off

Order never turned up despite being charged, even given time for delivery etc. Not the first time and have had missing items on orders. Never use again and Burger King can now go and do one...

The litter outside should have put us off going into The Happy Eater for a coffee and comfort break. Despite free, cleaned tables, we were left standing waiting for far too long to be seated - my elderly mother-in-law supporting herself on her zimmer. No-one...

Went there with the grandchildren very small sitting area very tasty burgers though at a very reasonable price doing lots of takeaways plenty of parking

Off-puttingly mucky and neglected inside and out, decided we couldn't bear to eat here. Great pity about the serious lack of even basic maintenance as the location is ideal for travellers.

We turned up, and it was relatively busy. Other customers were waiting to collect their food, so we were unsure who was waiting and who was in the queue to order. The girl at the till was just staring at everyone, not saying 'who's next?'...

This is the worst Burger King I have ever eaten in - dirty, small, hot and tasteless. The server got the wrong order, the Big King is smaller than the Whopper, the condiment stand was empty no napkins etc. Asked to eat in but still...

Burger King standard meals - although the bun on one of the buns was cold. Average quality - nothing outstanding but then its not Michelin star dining, is it??

Your stick to the floor when walking in, the place is so dirty and stinks. It needs stripping out and complete refurb. Seriously if you need a loo stop go in a bush it will be cleaner 😊

Some menu items not available, food greasy. ok so I know it's a burger bar....but more effort is needed, skimpy on the fries and the salad is limp....I would rather stop at Mc Donalds....

It's a Burger King, but staff really friendly and as it is a small branch the food it cooked to order, which makes it always fresh and hot.

Chips were not skinny fries like McDonalds and quite greasy. Burger OK. Service was good and quick. Same price as McDonalds £1.98 for regular fries and regular burger.

I’m a coach driver parked at Fontwell racecourse & I just took a walk up to Burger king & had the worst meal ever. I was served by someone with a foreign accent who was on my case before I had chance to look at the menu, all I had was a Cappuccino & a BLT wrap with chili sauce, the only thing hot was the chili sauce, the bacon tasted like it came straight from the fridge, the chicken was cold & the Cappuccino was drinkable though I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it & it cost me £6.00 should been £5.98 but he didn’t have any change, I gave him a £10 note & he gave me £3 change & I was just about to put it my pocket when I noticed a pound short so I said excuse me I should have £4 change & he said “oh sorry” & gave me my other pound that was still in his hand. I will never ever use Burger King again. They not only give you the worst food ever but try to rob you as well, how many people have been robbed there.

Although the food was good and served quickly, the restaurant was grubby and the staff looked untidy. The toilets were also grubby. We chose to eat in our car.

I poped in on my lunch break for 10 minutes and ended up waiting for 15 minutes when all I ordered was a coke and a ice cream! There was only about 4 people in there ordering! Staff where to busy chatting away! Terrible!

Visited with my two children whom are autistic and took over 20 min to receive my meal and my youngest son was having a meltdown due to the tables being disgusting which they were! There was only 4 tables? With room for another 6 at least, after sorting the table out my son realised his cheeseburger (thou in cheeseburger wrapper)was just a plain burger so another meltdown,so had to go and ask for replacement and the staff member picked up a new one and opened it and realised it also didn't have cheese on it so he threw my one in bin then proceeded to pick up some cheese with his hands and put it in the one he picked up and gave it to me, I didn't say anything as didn't want another meltdown but with staff member touching money then a bin not washing there hands before or after or not wearing gloves is a health and hygiene issue which I will be reporting and both myself and son visited the toilets and can only say they looked like they had been bombed! And totally filthy! The bins were over flowing the place basically was a germ haven and will not be returning! Absolutely disgusting

Visited 24th July, had to wait 35 mins for the 3 children behind the counter to get our food, all cold burger so dry you could not eat it, most people walked out despite having paid, wish we had left before the food had come, the owner should be ashamed to open the place, avoid at all costs.

This is slowest and smallest Burger King I have ever been in! Everything about it felt tired, old and a little bit unloved. I wondered because it was so slow if this is where staff who couldn't hack it in a real store were sent!

Stopped for lunch on the way to Chichester. Horrible service - the order was wrong, drinks were warm with no ice, tables both inside and out were filthy, garbage bins overflowing, no change at the counter. DO NOT STOP HERE!

Revolting filthy & that's just the tables. Staff are useless & the food was cold & order incorrect! Wouldn't eat here again even if it was the last burger place left. Just awful!

Some staff are extremely rude and seem to be deaf, you rarely get what you order and there's a rather odious young man in there who will lie when confronted, despite you having the receipt in hand. we went to the manager, who sorted the problem, but I'd rather avoid revisiting !

Wanted ice cream but their machine was broken. The lad behind the till went to the effort of going next door to little chef and getting theirs. This avoided disappointing 5 kids and was nice to see somebody cared. Thanks!

El servicio en este lugar es grave. Personal por irregular adolescentes con cero experiencia de cualquier cosa menos de todo el servicio de atención al cliente. sorprendentemente lenta, inexacta e incompetente. Sólo salvar la gracia es el puro entretenimiento factor de verlos Cock cada orden, dejar las cosas, viaje sobre el otro y grita abusos de cada uno. Sin duda alguna la peor comida rápida en el que he estado.

Not open late enough would be my only criticism of this place! Otherwise its completely as you would expect from a burger king!!

It was as if they'd closed for the evening, I just wanted to grab some chips as quick snack for the kids, they weren't fresh and were cold. The guy serving was very nice but they had no change left in the till

El peor Burger King! Sé que es una estación de servicio de la carretera, pero no hay excusa para lo malo que es. Nos varían rara vez ir aquí como lo preferiría el McDonald's en Chichester. Nosotros sólo fuimos aquí como Chi McDonalds está cerrado por reformas.

Fuimos para un bocado rápido el viernes pasado, qué cuchitril! Sólo 3 mesas para comer todo sucio, y basura de comida todo el piso y rebosante contenedores. Teníamos que esperar años para nuestra comida y cuando lo conseguimos fue bastante deprimente, bollos rancios de hamburguesa y una hamburguesa muy seco. Comer allí en su propio riesgo!

Food was fine. What you can expect from any Burger King. Facilities ok and in good order. Served quickly.

Consistent in their usual dismal standards. Slow, disinterested, disorganised teenagers serving cold food slowly.

Paramos aquí para tomar un aperitivo, el restaurante estaba sucia, muy escaso, lo que se traduce en un servicio lento, la orden estaba mal una vez que recibimos, secador en mi comida, personal de cocina no estaban usando sombreros y podridas lechuga en la hamburguesa. No volvería a esta toma otra vez, muy pobre en todas las zonas.

Whopper tastes good as usual. However nobody had wiped my table (or the other available tables) after the previous visitors to it. So just take along your own water and paper towel and do it yourself.

Quick service, hot food. Much better than the awful omelette at the Hilton . Don't visit fast food restaurants very often but this one was very good

Me volvería a llamar esta lucha comida rápida. Como todo el Burger King size, la comida es buena (mucho mejor calidad que McDonald's en la opinión) y los batidos están vendiendo en el momento son preciosos en este clima caliente (estuvimos en la calle Cappuchino) ... Sin embargo, el servicio es ridículamente lento. Fuimos en un miércoles a las 4:00 y había sólo a nosotros y 2 otras personas (eh ya habían servido y estamos esperando su comida). Todo lo que quería era 2 batidos pero herramienta unos 10 minutos para que ellos (y 2 miembros del personal). Esto es bastante ridículo para una "comida rápida" el establecimiento. Era el mismo en nuestra última visita, el lugar estaba vacío, pedimos 1 niño la comida y que también herramienta las edades ... Es difícil entender por qué!

Good for local travel lodge(s) busy at night and to be honest you get a better meal / value at the integral Little Chef

Every time I go West I try to have a Whopper at the Fontwell Burger King and every time I am NOT dissapointed. And the staff is very friendly as well.

Sip, Burger King. todos se sienten lo mismo, como McDonalds, etc. excepto este en Fontwell, que realmente se destaca. He estado un par de veces y, anómala, tiene super rápido, servicio agradable. Las hamburguesas genuinamente parecido - un fotos primero! - y el enfoque global es de una super dedicado y centrado outlet al cliente. No es lo que esperas. Así, digno de una revisión. El entorno está en mal estado pero impecables. casi no hay sillas o mesas izquierda. Ellos conviven con un Little Chef. No obstante, la calidad y la atención al detalle es coherente y de primera clase para esa comida basura. Disfrute!

Esto era como estar en una zona industrial con vehículos pesados de mercancías reversión con el techo abuhardillado advertencia sonido. Aparentemente este ruido emitido por los fryers cada 30 segundos para la salud y la seguridad. fue una cacofonía constante de ruido en un restaurante muy deteriorado. Aunque Acepto este es un establecimiento de comida rápida, está lejos de barato. Me siento por el personal que tienen que soportar las inadmisibles los niveles de ruido a través de su turno - ahora que es un problema de seguridad y salud!
