OMG this place is a tip dirty tables food all over the floor puts me off my food it’s empty so no excuse no wonder why terrible won’t come back disgusting

First and last time that i shall be visiting this place. Ordered a double burger 🍔 with onion rings firstly they were cold. Started eating the burger and the bun started to disintegrate tried the best I could to eat it but the bun just turned into breadcrumbs I was so annoyed I took it back to the counter and asked for a refund. The so called manager Sean laughed and said no way was he refunding it as I had eaten some of it. The bun felt very cold and crumbled as I tried to eat so not sure if it was frozen or stale eventually he refunded my money.

slow service, smells disgusting, not very clean at all. was waiting 20 minutes for an ice cream, horrible customer service. didn’t wear hair nets. absolutely horrendous.

The food was decent, not bad prices either but you need to sort your staff attitudes out. The girl who served me was rude and couldn’t even hear what she was saying. None of the staff look bothered to be there.

Ordered from here on just eat and never received my order today I’m so disappointed as I have to mess about getting my money back now and I have rang the shop numerous times and no answer.I will never order from here again

All the other food outlets were extremely busy, so we decided to eat here. The service was ok but the food was not good. The double chilli melt burger consisted of two buyers in a liquid cheese concoction with a jalapeno slice to give it some heat. The bun was stale and falling apart. Won't be visiting again.

order came on time by just eats. when it got it unpacked there was a drink and a burger missing tried to phone no answer several times so bad service wont be ordering from here ever again

Dirty. Extremely dirty. I suspect this place is very understaffed so not their fault. There's no music playing so no Atmosphere either. Expect Long wait times

Rubbish don’t waste your money . Shorted staffed so had to wait 20 minutes. Place was dirty and run down . Was cold inside as front door was faulty and kept sticking open . Staff looked like couldn’t be bothered . And to top it off chips were cold , well the 8 chips I got with my meal . Myself and wife and 8 year old daughter thought it was rubbish . Usually like Burger King but not this one

In the last 6 years I’ve been here 3 times. I live within walking distance to this place & have on all 3 occasions been amazed by the lack of staff, the terrible hygiene standards & lack of service. Never again will I waste money in this place. How it is still open us beyond me. When I complained last time I was advised that an ‘area manager’ would make spot checks to improve the poor quality/conditions. Clearly that has not happened or the area manager has very low standards. Walk over the car park & get in KFC or McDonalds.

Well, it was my birthday, and the daughter was up from her studies in London, as a consequence. What did she want to do? Well, she needed shoes and a bag apparently, so it was that I was treated to a shopping trip, which commenced at Junction 32, Castleford, and was to close, some hours later, at White Rose Centre in Leeds. To be honest, she did not have particularly rich pickings in J32 so, with little more than a carrier bag full of chocolate from the Cadbury shop, we made our way over to Burger King @ Xscape. I had a Big King meal and daughter, I think, had something called a Big Bacon or a Bacon King. We were served by a very friendly girl, the meals arrived within but a couple of minutes, and my Big King was absolutely fine; also the fries, to me, appeared better than you get from a certain rival burger chain. Look, BK ain't fine dining, but it's fun food, in a basic surround, which you can enjoy once in a while and at a reasonable price. I have no complaints!

Well what can I say we visited Burger King tonight to find the staff member they had on the till could hardly speak English had to keep asking another member of staff questions about what we was asking her and then to find out 5 minutes from home near goole that our order was wrong my son can’t have cheese as he has a protein allergy his burger was covered in cheese my burger had pickles on and my daughters had mayo an lettuce all of we had asked that we didn’t want ok and missed off the chilly cheese bites I asked for iv now tried to ring the restaurant back 11 times to complain for no one to pick up the phone ...... I’m now currently making my children food before they go to bed what a waste of £25 what be going back any time soon was one of our favourite places to eat for an on the go meal

I am currently at Burger King, waited 30 minutes to order food. Justeat has priority and was causing a huge delay. Michelle on the till was disinterested, and kept putting her hands on her head and sighing. When I ordered my food I couldn’t hear what she was saying as she was so quiet and not bothered. When paying she said ‘where the f*** has the tray gone’ to herself. 10 mins later I am still waiting for food. Suppose to be ‘fast’ food. Now I am scoffing my face to finish in time for the movie I am watching. I will not be returning. End of.

Was what one expects from a National chain. Food served promptly, hot with all choices available. Decent value for money.

Where do I start ...... The staff looked scruffy and brain dead. As I waited in the long line waiting to be served the lady behind the counter serving food did a big sneeze on her hand and then continued to touch the fries and other food. Needless to say I walked out totally disgusted. Yes it’s a fast food place not fine dining, I accept that.

We were after some food and I looked at the time of closure. Online it said 10pm. At 20 past 9 we went for it to be already closed

Visited on a Wednesday in half term holidays to be met by a 20 minute wait from walking through the door to receiving my food. No apology for the delay, people were constantly coming back to the front with missing food queries, very slow service, only 2 members of staff taking orders and working with one credit card machine so you were going backwards and forwards, could only see one person cooking and another floating around trying to get the trays back to start all over again. For a small unit as this one and being school holidays would have expected better service, will never visit again

Slow service, Rude managers and cold food! Total waste of time and money will not be returning and would advise others not to either

As said in the title, the service was very slow and run by children. They would rather talk to their mates than actually serve customers.

We visited here Sunday just gone and wish we hadn’t bothered. Waited 30mins to have a Rude lady manager with short hair serve us with no smile or apology. There was no ergancy to serve us which is shocking for “fast food” definatley would not return!

The Burger King was moderately busy but was keeping up with most customers orders without a problem. Our Fish King "special" was cooked a quickly as you would have reasonably expected

Me and my husband decided to take our 3 year old little girl to try burger king for the first time costing us over £20 for something that was barely edible.. staff were very miserable and not very welcoming and took 20 minutes for them to do the order with next to no one in!,ALL the food was cold and could tell it had been stood for a long time, chips rock solid, my little girls KitKat milkshake was sour and they also missed things off our order. Upon complaining to staff they were rude about correcting the order with what they had missed off making a sarcastic remark.. worst experience I've had by far.. it felt like the staff were purposely trying to drive people away and the food was made appalling on purpose. Really shocked and certainly won't be ever visiting again, no refund, no apology, and certainly not a very welcoming place to eat. AVOID if you don't want to be greatly disappointed.

I’ve never know staff look so depressed ! They worked so slowly it’s unbelievable! Been here 3 times now and always the same

We waited quite a while for our take out order but to be fair the restaurant was very quiet. The food was cooked to order and fresh.

Went to get takeout Friday evening about 6pm. Wasn't particularly busy but still took about 15 minutes to get 3 burger meals. Burgers were wrapped in incorrect wrappers so couldn't tell which was which without opening wrapper and lifting bread off. No barbecue sauce. All in all a very poor experience and won't be going back.

Service was terrible, no smile from server. They missed items from order. When we came back to ask for this rectifying, there was no apology. Staff moaning about the managers in front of myself. Would not return.

We went to Burger King which is a great restaurant with burgers chips and more. The food was very hygienic and I hope you are influenced by my review

waited ages to be served when the place wasnt even busy, there was plenty of staff but only one girl seemed to be doing any work. Place was very grubby and not clean. Lock on toilet was dangerous.

We was stood queueing for 15 minutes because the till staff way very slow. Whilst they could see people queueing to the door they kept coming from behind the tills to close the doors and not washing there hands after closing the doors.

Fuimos para una jugosa hamburguesa, y que lo que me dieron. La bonita chica rubia (los gérmenes) me sirve con una preciosa sonrisa en su cara y parecía con orgullo de la empresa! Typing this as I wait it's that slow. One member of staff serving and doing chips etc. Been exactly the same both visits. Awful service.

Poor service! Rude employees! Told to sit and they will bring our food over...they did... 40 minutes later!!! Rubbish!

If you like queuing for about half an hour and then standing around for another half hour before you get to eat, then this is the place for you. When we arrived, it was quite busy but there was only ONE person taking orders and handing out the meals. The poor guy was running round like a headless chicken. When I eventually ordered my Angry Whopper, I was told there were no Angry onions to go on it, as shown on the menu. I accepted this but was still charged full price for my onionless burger. No serviettes, had to ask for them. They were hidden under the counter along with the sauces. All in all, a poor experience and we won't rush back. McDs and KFC are far superior, in my opinion, and better value for money.

Just popped in here, on Friday Night after we arrived, looking for something quick and cheap to take back to the premier inn. Man behind the counter was very helpful. We got really large portions and did not cost a lot at all. food was nice and filling.

I visited this place about two years back, I had to actually complain about the service, quality of food and the toilets.The service was extremely slow, the food was cold and the toilets were disgusting.... the staff just didn't seem to care at all...The shop needed a clean up as tables and the floor was littered.Act a little more responsible BK, no wonder many of your places have shut down or are not busy as you were at one point many years ago.

Slow service and I was surprised at the amount of people being told certain burgers were not available whilst waiting for my order. Quality wise then it is standard Burger King quality; decent enough and consistent with other Burger King restaurants. Restaurant was clean enough and the staff friendly and polite.

The establishment is situated at Xscape at Glasshoughton which is an indoor ski slope and has many bars and eateries to contend with. As Burger King goes it follows the routine menu you expect across the board.

For a large Fast Food chain like this the service here is poor, very slow and cold food. Its had a refurb so does look cleaner as it was a bit of a dive before but the service is what needs improving. On saying that went to the one in Bridlington recently and thats even worse, don't know whats happening to Burger King but theyre going down hill Fast !!!

It was very popular and I queue'd for about 10 minutes to get served. The food was hot and decently presented when I got served and represented good value for money. It was just that it looked over used and a bit run down, getting a bit shabby looking and the cooking and serving area was small and dark yet the restaurant had glass windows the whole way round. Definately in need of a re-design. Toilets were overused too and were a little unpleasant on the day I went in.

My last BK experience was courtesy of a Big Whopper in Brighton - and I enjoyed it. Admittedly I was a little squiffy, but I still think it was a decent burger. Fast forward to this week and I noticed that this BK "restaurant" - a VERY loose term here - has, in recent months, undergone a refurbishment. Lured in with the offer of a £1.99 bacon burger, we decided to give it a go. I wasn't expecting opulence. But solid wall-to-wall plastic with absolutely no atmosphere or comfort was not what I was expecting either. No consideration has been given to the customer's experience here. Basic would be embellishing things. These guys need to take a look at Mcdonalds, who have taken the customer experience up several notches in the past few years, providing comfort and ambience. Maccy D's manages to create a pleasant eating environment even when it is crawling with kids. Anyway, back to BK where the food also disappointed. The burger was tasteless and the bread stale. Basically, it bombed. There will be no return visits for us to any of this chain's miserable, cold, plastic eateries (I just cannot bring myself to use the term "restaurant" twice in this review). They seriously need to step up their game in the wake of the rapidly increasing number of quality burgers joints popping up and McDonald's sexing up of their restaurants - or they are going to disappear forever. Just like Wimpy, who also failed to take account of Britain's changing tastes and expectations. If you want an enjoyable burger experience, peeps, than drive straight on by when you see a Burger King....

Came here for a quick bite to eat. Stood waiting for 20mins while 2 incompetent and extraordinarily slow staff served 5 people infront of me. Eventually served me (grumpily). Want mayonnaise with your dinner? Forget it, they don't stock it. Horrible place

We descended as a large group of 2 families. They gave us party hats and the chairs and tables were close to each other so our children could sit at one table and be close enough to us. The food for the kids was just the right amount and reasonably priced.

Food is ok, what you expect from Burger King but be prepared to wait for it.WIted 20 minutes to be served, one person serving on Saturday at 12pm! Then waited another 25 minutes for the food to be ready.No room to move and very difficult to get a pram from one side of the restaurant to the other.Not enough seats.Basically under staffed and under prepared, no sign of management. Staff friendly enough but over worked

After a day shopping my daughter wanted some lunch. I have eaten at Burger king before and it was ok. The place was almost empty apart from one table and as soon as we opened the door I knew why. The smell was dreadful and hung in the air along with grey smoke.Someone must have burnt something. We ordered and had to wait and the food was luke warm. Our whooper burgers were floppy and only chargrilled on one side. I left mine. The chips tasted of what ever the smell was. Really disappointing. The staff just didn't seem interested and never smiled. It was the biggest waste of £16 ever. Also the table had something nasty and sticky on it. We will not be returning.

For a food Chain such as a Burger Place I think Burger King is really great. The Burgers are very tasty. Good.

Food was ok and warm, but, extremely slow service, by staff who appeared not to care. Queuing out of the door and some customers walked off to other restaurants.

Burger King Castleford is a very nice restraunt (especially for dinner or tea). It is a clean restauraunt with very nice burgers. The kids meals come in a nice bag with a toy as well.
