Disappointment that the seating closes at 7pm so you have to eat in your vehicle the person who I asked at burger was just rude just said no was quite taken back by her blunt and unkind attitude will report this due to Burger King not closing till 10 pm so why can’t they close down a section of seating 30 minutes before closing?

Went there for a double whopper meal and was very warm, delicious and better than most burger kings I’ve went too, chips were warm and salty and drink tasted lovely

Ordering was easy but the service rep only handed us one dip rather than the two we purchased so had to prompt him on this. We should have known to check the rest then but were too rushed. We then took our meal away to eat locally and realised that the cheese we had purchased for the burger and a portion of chips were missing. Really disappointing. As we were too time limited to go back I emailed customer services that night and a week later have no response. CHECK EVERY ITEM YOU ORDER as they certainly don't!!

There are no words. The whole place was empty and for good reason. We were served by someone who had the customer skills of a nat. We paid £16 for two burgers and shared a chips, of which we wouldn’t have minded if it was edible. The food was warm, when I say warm, I mean barely warm, more cold. The eating area was filthy. Both burgers looked as though they had been in the heater (that had not been switched on) for hours. I understand that having Mc Donald’s opening must have effected business but no wonder if this is the service!! We always clear up after ourselves as we have been in the food industry and don’t get me wrong we left it all in the bag but we did not put it in the bin as a sign of protest. I would have complained but it was two young lads and it wouldn’t have got me far. Genuinely horrendous experience and we will never ever be returning! Wouldn’t be surprised if I saw this services closed down soon.

Arrived about 7.15p., ordered food, it's was then cooked. Didn't get sauce as we ordered with share box. Sat at one of the few tables that was available as most of sesting area was closed. It had not been cleaned. People then came in at 7.30 and were told they were not allowed to sit in and eat. Very disappointing amount of cheese on fries.

It used to be far better than this. I dont think we will be going there again in a hurry. Surely it doesnt take much effort to check food temperatures are adequate . Our food was too cold

Went to my local Burger King in saltash at 7pm. And went to order a vegan royal meal for my partner and another meal for myself. I was told they couldn’t make the vegan royal meal as they had already cleaned down the kitchen. Even tho they are open for another 2 hours. I think this is completely unacceptable to discriminate vegans and not making it due to they had already cleaned the kitchen! But they were happy to still be making meat meals! We won’t be going there again and I would advise anyone that’s also vegan not to bother wasting your time.

I had a double cheeseburger with bacon,the burger was warm so the cheese didn't melt it's the worst burger I've ever had I'm annoyed i didn't take it back,Burger king was the best i thought,the restaurant is also very drab and the surroundings are in need of upgrading

looked good value in the phot with the cheese sauce melting out on both burgers-however only small amount of cheese sauce put in the middle of the two burgers not enough to taste let alone see melting out from the bun. Chips were very nice dry and crispy and the price was v good

I have never visited such a disgusting service station/Burger king in my life. The burger was dripping with grease, the bun was stale and the chips were cold. I asked for Halloumi fries to be told the restaurant had stopped serving them but they were clearly on the overhead menu “stating” New Halloumi Fries”. The restaurant was shut and there were no toilets in the service station. This has put me off of Burger King for life. I would say this restaurant is on the verge of closing for good.

We popped up to Saltash industrial estate to get a motorcycle serviced and walked around to find somewhere to grab some food. I saw that there was a Burger King next to a Travelodge and as Burger King aren’t easily accessible in Cornwall since they got rid of the one at Chiverton many moons ago it’s a bit of a treat. The place was a ghost town due to the pandemic. Walked up to order and the staff members were great. Very amicable and friendly. Talked to us through the order and explained certain things weren’t available. My fiancé isn’t au fait with Burger King and they were great with getting the food she really wanted. Paid and waited for the food which came quickly. Staff wished us a good day and we went to have out food. The restaurant was closed so we sat outside in the sun and ate our food. Chips were superb, always a fan of BK chips over another brands chips. I had a halloumi burger which is probably a rare order at a Burger King and it was fantastic. Coke was the perfect mix of syrup and water. The staff made the experience. They were great! Will definitely make an effort to stop by again due to this!

Long wait, cold food & the toilets are horribly dark wit no lights and looks like they hardly clean it. The taps are horrendous, you can’t wash you hands for even a second without being scolded by burning hot water. The taps don’t even run for longer than a second so again u have to keep pushing down to get water out but wit the burning water it’s almost impossible to wash your hands. They have the slowest hand dryers I have ever come across aswell. It really needs some modern renovation.

Decided to try again at Saltash burger king for a meal after telling the wife it should be ok this time. Waited too long again, staff utterly disinterested in serving, especially after serving the couple in front of us must have left them exhausted. With McDonald’s just over the road I would think that Burger King would try a bit harder or take more interest in the lacklustre staff they employ. Maybe the staff don’t need jobs or are employed to run the business down as a tax loss or something. Ijustcant think why thy bother opening the doors. We went to McDonald’s and had a great meal and good service

We would call in here occasionally and it was fine. It was starting to look a bit tired but the food used to be OK. They've spent a huge amount of money on a refit, the place looks great. Three times we've attempted to go, twice they claimed they had sold out of everything. They were cleaning up. This was hours before they were due to close. Third attempt now, its 3hrs before they shut. All the staff are cleaning down the kitchen. Three out of the four menu screens are switched off. They've 'sold out' of everything except chicken royal and basic cheese burgers. We've ordered anyway, we've been sat here watching the customers turn up get told they've sold out then sod off to Subway or McD. The burgers were reheated and cold. The chips were under done. The coke was flat and tastes of chlorine. The coffee was undrinkable bad. There's food waste all over the floors and the tables are sticky. The toilets are appalling. We've really enjoyed our visit, it's like something out of a sitcom. Great night out take the family, go grab a McD after cos you won't eat what they serve even if you can get them to serve you. We are sat here seriously discussing if the new McD over the road is give the BK staff a backhander to be this bad 😂

Went for a breakfast. They had just opened. The day before chips squashed into the floor. Ketchup smeared on table tops. Smelled of old food. No cleaner in site. Had to ask for a cloth to clean my own table.

We went to Burger King for meal and the price of the meal was very good the service was very good as well It was so much better than McDonald’s download the app to get even better deals for Burger King me and my wife had food there for 8 pound and she had a hot chocolate as well

I swore never to come here again after the last time, before the refurbishment. I had been out doing some errands and it took longer than expected and being diabetic and very hungry I decided to give it another go as it has had a refurbishment. What a fool I am!Three members of staff stating about chatting and the one who was working doing the serving had a look on her face that would sour milk. I had a Double Bacon Cheeseburger regular size meal and the burger was very small and lukewarm, the bacon not cooked properly and the chips were also lukewarm and a tiny portion. The coffee is just about OK. The toilets, which i ascertained are the responsibility of Subway and BK are disgusting. The stale smell of faeces in there would just about knock you out. An absolute dump and a disgrace.When McDonald opens it will finally kill this hellhole off hopefully.

Never meet such unhelpful staff that never smile and certainly need training in customer service. Two customers waiting and staff totally ignored us for nearly 5 mins would rather stand around talking to themselves than providing service to the waiting customers. Won’t be going there again unless service improves.

No interest was shown what so ever from the staff when we placed our order. The food was serverd by bored peeps who couldn't care less what they served. The food was luke warm and bland. We paid £13 for two diet cokes and two cold flat double cheese/bacon burgers and small chips - all flat as hell. We were really hungry following a hospital appointment at Derriford where we had been delayed. We had not eaten for several hours. The food at this Burger King was dreadful. VERY poor value for money, Do not go here unless you are hungy and desperate.

We thought we would have a lunch time treat and visit Burger King in Saltash. I cannot ever remember having a bad or nasty burger king in my life. We today changed that.It was the first time we had visited since it has changed and the premises are improved.That was the best bit, oh and the service is much quicker so I thought this is OK. UGH UGH. One Texas BBQ King and a Bacon King. Both were the worst by a mile. The bread was gooey and when I unwrapped my Bacon King the wrapper was full of grease and wet. Not a lot of flavour either. At least the Fanta had a taste. So not all was eaten, I have been visiting this site for over 20 years and this was the last time. Not like the food is cheap and you can shrug it off. By the time I paid for the bridge toll and the food the best part of £18 was gone.

We stopped at the services for a quick bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised by the new upgraded fit out. Then it happened, the worst part of the services was always the toilets, they have spent a great deal of money on the main area only to leave the toilets in the same sad, Sorry, and extremely dismal state. Who ever planned the refurb shame on You! If it's supposed to be welcome to Cornwall you have let the rest if the traders down as I wouldn't want to travel any further if the rest is like that! Thankfully most other places have higher standards, phew!!

We stopped off here on our way home,an absolute disgrace,although Burger King was closed it was filthy behind the counter (wouldn't of eaten there if it had been open) sub way was equally as bad although it was open I wouldn't eat there, the whole place was filthy and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time ground in dirt everywhere, overflowing bins and car park littered with rubbish,I would love to know what their hygiene rating is, disgusting.

Had a wasted trip to Burger King at Saltash Services to find that Restaurant had closed without notice Shocking Show where are their management team. Oh well looks like Burger King at Saltash are no longer all of fitments have been removed and looks derelict

Went into Burger King today for something to eat to find it closed until further notice if it’s closed down then why are they still advertising? Absolutely disgraceful I feel sorry for holiday makers stopping to find such a dump

We stopped off here on our way home hoping it had improved since my last review , sadly not , toilets dirty ! Wasn’t busy when we came there , worse thing was we had chips with out meal that were caked in salt , if I want salt I will ask for it ! My partner is on blood pressure tablets and couldn’t eat them ! Don’t bother !

This branch is a disgrace. We ate here today and the place was so forlorn. The floors were sticky, the window sills covered in cobwebs and dead flies. Outside the picnic benches were all broken. The lettuce in my chicken royale (how do they have the nerve to call it that?) was slimy and the grease dripped out of my husbands' burger and made a pool in the paper wrapper! We know this is fast food but we have eaten at Burger King before and not been disgusted.How does such a big company get away with this? Add to this a non flushing toilet and broken hand dryer and the lunch time experience was complete.

Can’t believe a big company hasn’t spent any money on this DUMP it needs staff training, complete refurbish, it felt like I was walking into derelict building. The guy who served me was a chav and he didn’t want to be there as much as me. While eating I was constantly looking around praying I wasn’t going to mugged by the strange looking customers or even the staff. I highly recommend this place if your common scum

Poor service and expensive - closed at the moment with a bit of luck it'll stay that way. Trouble is that there is little other choice in Saltash unless you want to pay for Parking in Fore street car parks.

BURGER KING £$£$ MASSIVE COMPANY

Last time i went there it was terrible and should never have gone back. It has been shut for a while thought it was being refurbished but not a lot has happened. Children were desperate for burger king so went back. As usual not a lot to shout about. I ordered 5 meals so meant 5 drinks, being on my own had to carry this lot, there were no drink carriers so had to make 3 trips to the car, which by the time we ate it was all cold. There was no salt, no toys still,no sugar and so it goes on. Really need to avoid this place like the plague.

Have been here many times with my grandchildren as they love burger king and the toys, this particular burger king has not had any toys for months and it is a shame as thats why the kids like to go. The place is dirty and the staff are like zombies. I would rather travel to Plymouth than visit this burger king again. It shut at the moment for a refurb i think they should keep it that way. SHUT

Not much to say about the food, it is what you'd expect it to be. Staff are very poor and you will have to ask for everything you want from dips to trays without being asked. I asked for a tray, was given the impression that I was asking them to go beyond their job description and was then handed one without the paper liner, so had to ask for one of these too. Every time we go they never seem to have toys to accompany the kids meal. Painful visit.

Could do with being cleaned more often, bins were overflowing both inside and nearly every table was covered in rubbish. Food was fast and mostly fresh. The car park and outside entrance area were overflowing with rubbish, it was strewn all over the floor and thrown around by the overflowing bins. More could be done to keep this area clean.

2 stars because my burger was pretty tasty. Apart from that, it was thrown together. This has to be the most depressing, unappealing, soulless place to eat in the universe. Cold, loads of blown double glazed windows, broken glass doors and last decorated about 20 years ago. If you really have to eat, give it a go. Otherwise avoid at all cost.

a lot of people queuing for a BEEF burger-but NO they have no beef-as much as i like wasting my time could a member of staff not put a sign up to tell people??? no too obvious--didn't think it could get any worse in this branchthey won't run out of beef when the McDonalds drive through is built soon because they will have NO customers

We stopped off at these services hoping to get a coffee. In front of the counter at Burger King was a huge pool of spilled drink that the staff were doing their best to ignore. I then stood at the counter to Subway (part of a joint franchise with BK) - one member of staff was serving a woman in front of me (very very slowly), while the other member of staff ignored me and disappeared out back. In the end we walked out - and yes, the pool of cola was still there. Dirty premises, non-existent service - AVOID

This place is a franchise (I am assuming) and both the BK and Subway are run by the same owners.The staff sure do often seem bored and unwilling to go above and beyond, but it's clear there is no direction or motivation from management. That said, I wouldn't blame the manager at store level, because by the fact the ice cream machine is always broken, there is no support higher up.Owners need to go in, hold their hands up to the staff, appease them (some of them been there a long time) then put right what's wrong.Clean the area up (staff would be willing to help if their original complaints are heard and believed that something will be done) then a cleaning roster for toilets, outside areas and constant changing of bins.Maintenance to fix machinery and more rigid checks food wise to stop the problem of cooked off at wrong times (bringing stale cold food) and better ordering.Let the manager be proud of his job, let the staff be heard, sort it out.It's literally a goldmine. Sadly at the moment the owners are just sitting on the gold until it's all gone. With little return for staff or customers.

Fast food, fast service. Exactly what you would expect. Friendly attentive service - what's not to like?All the food was as expected except the onion rings which were overcooked and chewy - really not nice. Couldn't complain as we had ordered to go and didn't discover it until we'd left.Our biggest disappointment was the state of the premises as we left! There was rubbish all over the verges leading back to the main road. The whole area looked grubby, unkempt and uncared for. If it is like that where customers can see it then what are the areas like that customers can't see? Won't be going back.

This is the second time we've tried here and there won't ge a third. The teo young lads that served us so wanted to be anywere but were they were i wish someone from head office would pay them a visit and see for themselves just how they treat customers. I ordered chicken tendercrisp and he just mumbled they didn't have any snd stood looking bored while i decided what i wanted instead. My partner asked for a large coke and was told no coke so had fanta instead but was given a small instead of large. We then adked for ice cream but was told the machine wasn't working. Think your staff defiantly need some training in how to speak to customers.

The young lady that served me asked me to repeat my 3 meal order 5 times, there were no alterations to the meals she just wasnt switched on.All 3 burgers had stale buns and were not nice to eat.Worst of all the place was dirty and sticky and obviously hadnt had a wipe down for a while.This is what happens when all the staff appear to be under 20.I have written and complained to BK and they say they are looking into the store.

Fast food it is not. Along long wait was certainly not worth it. The spotty youth taking the orders was totally out of his depth and contributed to the delay. The nap was limp filled with some mushy object. Don't bother is my advice.

For a service station, it sucks. Very very small and shares the seating area with the Subway store that is separated by a small partition. Food is great and store is clean but it is very small. In fact, Burger King and Subway are the same restaurant but split into two.

This burger king really is the worst. The staff are slow and they can often have food and drinks advertised that they don't actually sell. The indoor seating area is fine but the outdoor seating is frequently dirty and rubbish strewn. Its worth the trip into Plymouth city centre if you'd like a Burger King where the staff are far more "switched on" and they sell the full range as advertised.

20 minutes to order food, then another 30mins until my food arrived. Awful service and awful food, worst Burger King I've been too..

2nd time I have been there and they have got my order wrong. I had to wait over 15 minutes and was not going to wait another 15 to get it right. Not again.

Arrived here about 11am, queue out the door, ordered a Double cheeseburger meal with fries separately, waited about 12mins for food. I asked if i could have superfries instead of normal fries and got told by the rather young goofy looking lad 'no ive done the order now and would need to cancel it then start again'. Slow service, staff arent knowledgeable.

Don't bother, twice we have been here now and food been cold, wasn't busy 6.45 pm. Food on floor , tables dirty , bin over flowing, been here before and exactly the same ! Shocking ! I have been to burger king all over the country when we have been away and they are all spotless , and food is hot, this one lets the whole lot down ! Won't be returning !

Only go here because my son wants to.Unfortunately I go here regularly. Just about every time I do go the tables are dirty the floors a mess and the service is very slow.The toilets which are shared with the attached Travelodge is always dirty and smells.A real overhaul of this place is needed.

The gas was nearly out on the post-mix coke so that was not 100% right either.Very hungry made the mistake of not just walking out.Asked for replacement hot chips and coffee - as did the couple in front of us.This building looks like a 1970's leisure centre on its last legs.In all honesty:-The staff need basic customer service courses. They need to be shown how to cook.They need to be shown how to keep a restaurant clean (yes the full bins even had a roll of black bin liners on top).I'd have had more satisfaction from burning £15 in the car park.Please, manager, franchise holder - do something to improve standards or hand your franchise back. If this is the first port of call for visitors to our beautiful county - you should hang your heads in shame.We will not go back

They got the order wrong. The coffee was luke warm and replaced. The chips were cold and replaced which was when we noticed the servers filthy nails. The burgers were tepid and the coke was flat. At this point we gave up! A terrible first impression for Cornwall!!!

I appreciate burger kings a fast food joint but my God I have been to the Saltash one a few times and everytime they forget or give us a wrong order, I ask for cheese and extra cheese every time they forget I went back 3 times today!! How can you be that thick:Me "extra cheese Please"Cook "hmm I know they want bacon not cheese"Me " exscuse me this burger has bacon not cheese could I change it please" Cook " I know they just want it plain"You can see where this is going. Aswell they just slop it in the bun it looks herendous. People say you have to be unintelligent to work in fast food and I disagree but christ you Lot make me want to bash my head off the walls in there please learn to read and please learn the menu it's kind of your job and it's not exactly the cheapest one going.Get a grip.

Visited this restaurant 4 days and every visit was told NO EGGS available for breakfast....3 months without eggs!!!Poor customer service and disgraceful that a fast food outlet get get away with being allowed to open for breakfast with no eggs!!

No complaints about the food, the coke tasted awful, nothing like Coca Cola at all, The staff need a little customer service training to, or at least to look interested in what they are doing, But the biggest complaint about this place is that the seating area is always left dirty, nothing is tiedied and the whole place is left feeling un cared for. It feels like the whole Burger King area looks like it needs to be totally ripped out and re-done

All the usual items, staff are pretty welcoming it was late and the restaraunt was empty but can't fault it

I drive passed quite a bit and call in about once a month for a take a way. Service is always good - can't fault at all. The food is just as you would get in any BK. They have recently done the interior up and it des look better. It is also warm now!!! Good thing is there is rarely a queue and they do cook the food as you wait so it s fresh.

Handy for visiting when travelling with plenty of free parking onsite.The restaurant is quite large but lacks atmosphere & is in need of some refurbishment.Not one of the best venues I have visited whilst travelling!

Attended with my partner as we fancied something to eat whilst travelling. The burgers were ok but nothing better than ok, they sort of fell to pieces whilst we ate them, not good. The chips wernt great. The restaurant was cold!

Eaten here a number of times as I live in Saltash. My last visit was not a good one. The food was fine it was the service. It was really busy there and I had my two children being children. They had forgotten my order so I was there waiting just under 30 minutes which was ridiculous especially with two children. They did apologise and gave me an extra portion of chips which I presume that's the company standard. What they need is a number system on a screen, they currently call out the order on what you've ordered and not many people remember what they ordered or can't hear what there saying. Need a better system guys.

Was quite shocked when I saw the cleaner sweep the tables with the broom he was using to sweep the floor! The place looks like it has never received a good clean, service is also quite slow.

Waited 30 minutes for my food my partner went to subway beside it and ordered hers and ate it in the time it took for me to order mine and they weren't even very busy! Other people ordered before me and got it before me! I ask where my food is to and they say they gave it to somebody else even though I had been stood at the counter the whole time. No apology or anything won't be returning! And from what other people said they won't be returning after today either!!!!

Absolutely nothing to redeem this place . stale bun, burnt fries, and most of all the staff are just so unmotivated and useless

It is an easy stop beside the A38. It is generally quiet with rarely any queue but you usually have to wait for cooking from scratch. Every part of the public areas and surroundings need clearing and cleaning. It's as if the franchisees for Burger King and Travel Lodge have lost interest or can't shake off the limbo of low trading against basic unavoidable overheads. It could be brighter and more welcoming.

Well what can I say the most dirty over priced load of rubbish.I don't know how they are still open if front of house looks like that I would hate to imagine what out back looks like.

Service slow and unhelpful but i was amazed by the amount of rubbish at the front and rear . we stayed in the travelodge for a couple of nights the same litter was still at the back of the building. Front waste bins emptied once a day . Really awfultravelodge staff says they loads of complaints and the building is owned by burger king.

Dirty eating area and the toilets are unfit for use. They are rancid. No toilet paper. Broken stalls. Nappies everywhere. Approached burger king staff about this and they blamed travelodge. Spoke to travelodge who blamed burger king. point remains the place is vile and I'd never come here again.

Remember when eating out in England was a biological necessity and not something to be enjoyed? Well come to Saltash Services and be transported back to a grimy hell hole that was 70's motorway services.The place is filthy, the car park is covered in litter, bins overflowing and dog mess on the grass. There is a nursery next door which has kids coming in and out clogging up the entrance and the whole area is dilapidated and shabby. It needs demolishing urgently. The food in Burger King was as you would expect but the tables were filthy and covered in food and a dead horsefly. I'm usually positive but this place is absolutely disgusting. Just drive on

Just been for a burger king in saltash services and what a dump it is over there,the whole of the site is covered in rubbish from the car park to the seating outside.The eating area itself is very unclean with trays left on many tables the whole time we were there and food remains all over the floor,we went out the back to the seating area on the patio and then decided to go in the car instead,all in all a crap eating experienceIf I was the franchise owner I would being making drastic changes to my staff !!!!

Recently visited this place on the way to the New Forest and what a shambles , the bacon double cheese burger was an insult to the advert , its little bigger than a marshmallow and nearly cold , the chips were disgusting, my wife had the chicken burger and chips and the whole lot came to £12.50, and what did we have to show for it ? still hungry afterwards, I will never call here or any burger King franchise ever again, absolutely disgusting value.

Went there on the way back from a trip to Plymouth for the day. One worker, I think his name was Paul, who I also guess was the manager or supervisor or something appeared to be so rude and talked down to the other two workers who seemed to be doing all the work... The food was average but incredibly expensive. If we realised how much it was going to be we'd have gone elsewhere. But seeing Paul not respecting his workers was awful and set a very miserable atmosphere in the place

Advertised brownie on menu so ordered one of these to be told they dont sell these. Then I asked for a coffee which they took payment for then to be told five minutes later that they were out of coffee. Friends ordered burgers which were luke warm. Floor was filthy, whole place looked disgusting. Staff were arrogant and have no customer service skills. The guy had more interest checking his tattoo than to give a good service. Would not recommend this place at all.

Thought I'd travelled back in time to the 70s. Grotty restaurant and reception complex. It appeared the caretaker has been given the month off or could even be dead behind one of the overflowing bins.

the wait takes the mickey out of the fast food idea. Food is always good, hot and staff are friendly BUT ... the wait?

3 adults and one 3 year old popping in for a quick lunch. First impressions were not too favourable, as it didn't look fresh, and tables still to clear and clean. No milkshakes!. Then requested a chicken salad but none available. We had a child's meal and 2 cheap cheeseburgers with fries, which was average to say the least. The staff were very apologetic, and pleasant but were rushed off their feet.Went to the toilets, which were just outside, so unsure if part of, but they were disgusting.Will not be coming back here again.

Stopped off the other day to grab a burger and chips on the way home for lunch and was pleasantly surprised.I only live 5 minutes drive away, but this was my first visit here.The burger and chips were exactly what you get in any other Burger King, so were pretty good. Plus I didn't wait longer than about 5 minutes.I have to admit the place itself is pretty strange, like a hanger with tables in it, but hey that's OK. I wasn't expecting Claridge's.It's not as bad as some people say, but I don't think they have a big kitchen which I could see leading to delays.

Ive been to this bk many times over the years but omg its getting really bad now .It needs a clean inside and out .bk haven't been able to serve cold drinks for weeks now so you have to go next door to subway to fill your drink ,saying that subways hot drinks were not working so their customers had to go to bk for their hot drinks .it also seem much more expensive compared to others ive been in .well lets talk about the outside .......hum maybe a skip for the rubbish is needed ,I know its not just bk who is on site but he outside as you drive around is horrendous ,so much rubbish its embarrassing

Awfull place with officious and offhandedly staff. They are so blunt and devoid of any expression. Probably the most expensive burger chain food in the south west. Tasty and nicly prepared but oh so expensive. Grubby table food all over the floor and very long wait for food once you eventually get to the counter. Use wait rose restaurant over the road, food is cheaper too.

I should have realised there was a reason why subway had a long q and burger king had none !! The food was ok, has become very expensive .. However it was more customer service host that bewildered me. His name was Barry and wow he looked as if he would rather do anything but serve me. He was very surley I wonder if he was the same person who served the previous reviewer. The other staff I saw and heard appeared to be very pleasant and smiled, The building is much better after its refurb in the summer however, no q and I counted 6 staff yet the bibs were overflowing.

We luv Burger King but the food has changed and is so over priced! This place was dirty and the staff were very rude. I asked where their 99p menu was and the answer I got back was "it's on there ain't it?!" Meaning the full menu (which it wasn't as I had already looked) the situation of the place is rather odd and not comfortable at all. Me and my husband both felt like we were on a different planet. It was filthy and very uncomfortable, the windows were full of condensation. I've seen a morgue with more life than this place, it felt so depressing.

Subway in the same place ... we decided to choose that instead. The Burger King is quite expensive whilst the more trendy Subway is right there and so we prefer to do that instead.

No kids toys, but staff tried to be great, with a day that overwhelmed them apparently. Services BK with shared dining area.

As with the majority of these reviews I have to agree. We stopped off from a great day at the Cornish Maze and wow!! What a mess this place is. Tables never cleared or even wiped . Waste bins bursting to over flow.Food on the floor etc. These problems could so easily be resolved with a regular walk through by at least one member of staff. We queued for a good 25 mins for food and add that time to the time we spent eating no one bothered to clean. Food was fine - always better than Mcdonalds - but the state of the restaurant is no excuse

Well, I've just visited the subway which is the new one that has just opened (it's next to Burger King in the same building). My feet are aching because i've just waited in a queue for 10 minutes. (there was about 4 people in the queue). The building is filthy, there is dead flies on the window ledges and the food.... well, I hope your prepared to re-morgage your house for a sandwich. I've just paid £14 for two subs that were dry as hell. I wouldn't feed them to my dog. The woman behind the till said "are you paying together?" I looked around thinking "have I grown an additional head?" Then she says are you paying separately. Are these people having crack for breakfast or what.. jeez. (my partner had sat down at the very back of the restaurant). She also asked me twice what sauce I wanted, despite already having put it on the sandwich. Avoid at all cost, unless you have all day to wait for a sandwich that tastes god awful.

When I visited this place the floors were dirty with food laying in places. The table were dirty and needed wiping. Some tables had used trays and packaging on them and the catering staff were serving food without wearing gloves. Next door behind a partition building work was in progress. To be honest I am surprised the health and safety dept hadn't closed them down.

We are local so didn't stay at the hotel however we have used it's Burger King several times when passing and despite it being a localJoke decided for convenience to pop in when passing with the kids - big mistake although the staff were friendly the building was dirty and old fashioned, the toilets filthy as if they hadn't been cleaned in weeks it looks as if it is closed down.Will avoid in future.

Out of the way. Slow service. Strange layout. Expensive. Nothing positive to say really? An odd Burger King in almost every way.

Going to this Burger King is literally like stepping into a time machine and hitting 1987!!This place is just epic! It's like time has stool still!! Ignore everyone who says it's a dump!! Its deffo no dump, its clean and tidy, nothing to complain about here!The food is typical Burger King, big burgers, big chips and slightly overpriced but thats expected!I freaking love the 80's, I love this place!If you want a burger king that time forgot then check this place out, the building should be listed, don't ever tear it down!!Overall good quality food. Friendly staff and an atmosphere from back in the day :)I'm digging out my hits of the 80's when I visit this place next just to get me in the mood haha :)

Only eat here occasional has there as it is convenient.The floor and tables are disgusting. Staff are just stood doing nothing when they could be cleaning... Mold covered dirty windows makes it look rank. This place needs shutting down. Vile place.

The place smelt of rotten eggs. The service was dreadful. The eating area needs a complete refurbish. Would never go here again!!!!M
