Burger & Beyond in Southwark

La hamburguesa de Navidad es una empanada de Woodland Turkey & Sage y una empanada de carne de cerdo de Norfolk con queso americano doble y brie frito. Esto fue único, ya que realmente no como hamburguesas de más de 8 libras a menos que sea algo realmente elegante. Sabía que me iba a gustar porque la empanada de cerdo era como una empanada de salchicha. Lo mejor son las dos cuñas de brie frito, salsa de arándano picante y salchicha brillante que lo complementan bien. La empanada de pavo estaba un poco seca, pero eso era de esperar con la naturaleza del pavo. En general no estaba mal, pero probablemente un poco demasiado salado. El personal no tenía suficiente personal en la sucursal del Puente de Londres solo fue porque era conveniente de lo contrario habría visitado el Soho. Los platos estaban en el lado pequeño y la sala de estar estaba estrecha. El menú de Navidad no se refleja en su sitio web ni sus redes sociales responden cuando comentas. Teníamos 2 hamburguesas en la versión individual. Cuando el camarero te pregunta qué tan cocido quieres que estén y te responde que en el mejor de los casos lo hacen "medio" esto es un engaño terrible. La carne de hamburguesa de mantequilla de tocino estaba... por supuesto... cocinada. No había suficiente tocino. La hamburguesa bougie sufrió el mismo problema con respecto al cocinero de carne. Salsa de carne 2 . 0 aunque interesante no fue fantástico. No probamos el queso en hamburguesas. El bollo era bastante engañoso (bueno, simplemente bien) y las patatas fritas estaban bien. El camarero de la recepción es un poco indiferente y simplemente toma el pedido (aunque parecía más curioso a la hora de interesarse por las dos chicas jóvenes que tenemos al lado y, sin embargo, el restaurante también estaba vacío de principio a fin)

Mi marido y yo estábamos por Borough Yard y decidimos probar las hamburguesas en el restaurante. El restaurante estaba bastante ocupado un viernes por la tarde y nos sentamos muy pronto. Pidió una hamburguesa de Navidad mientras yo tenía la hamburguesa Bougie. Compartimos los tots sucios como lado. La comida se sirvió poco menos de 15 minutos y tanto las hamburguesas como las tots sucias eran sabrosas y agradables. La factura total fue de aproximadamente £ 44 incluyendo los 12. He estado siguiendo a esta compañía por un tiempo en instagram, así que he estado ansiando una de esas hamburguesas con queso, así que fui a almorzar cuando estaba en el mercado del condado de cualquier manera. Pedí mi hamburguesa con queso y una coca-cola, sin cebollas en mi hamburguesa porque no soy fan, compré la hamburguesa y estaba muy sabrosa, pero le faltaba algo, ¿quizás fueron las cebollas las que completaron la hamburguesa? ¿Puedo sugerir que el restaurante pruebe a ponerle ensalada de pepino? Eso es lo que siento que faltaba en la hamburguesa sin cebolla 😊 pruébalo, te encantaría 😍 Para el postre me dieron el crumble de manzana, y maldita sea eso estuvo bueno, necesito más manzana y menos helado, pero pase lo que pase, el sabor fue genial. Sin duda volver allí de nuevo cuando en Londres de nuevo.

Vino para la comida rápida antes del teatro y disfrutamos mucho de nuestras hamburguesas / pollo. Servicio muy eficiente y amable, gran menú de bebidas y hamburguesas muy sabrosas con mucho sabor. Volvería.

Really enjoyed the burgers, and the location is great with a good vibe. Decor is very urban and fits the style of restaurant. Servers were efficient but could be a little friendlier and although we enjoyed the food think it was a little overpriced. All in all though a good meal and would go back again.

Come da titolo. Locale della nota catena. Sito in zona strategica vicino al mercato Borough. Disponibili vari tavoli esterni sotto ombrelloni e sala interna. Menù classico con panini i piatti semplici. Hamburger molto buoni d ben cucinati. Mi sembra solo che hanno ridotto le porzioni … :( Patate disponibili in vari modi. Prezzi nella media.

There were 4 of us, we called ahead to book a table but we're told to book on the website. Any restaurant that won't take bookings over the phone needs to rethink! We arrived on time but table wasn't ready. Service was mediocre and server didn't know what was gluten free. Food arrived in bits and pieces. Food was tepid. Disabled toilet on ground floor wasn't clean and had to ask for toilet paper(reminded me of school when thee teacher rationed you to sheets!) Music far too loud.

Chilled and nice vibe with decent service. the oso yaki burger dripping in way too much teriyaki sauce- made me and my mate feel slightly sick afterwards which was a shame because it was quite expensive and sounded nice on the menu.

Omg THE best burger my tummy has ever had. We will be back soon. The chips were absolutely outstanding too. Thank you so much xx

I visited for an early lunch on a Thursday. The restaurant was fairly quiet at the time. I tried the Bougie burger with a side of truffle tater tots and some homemade lemonade. The burger was pretty decent, but the tater tots were probably the highlight - these were very moreish! I did enjoy their lemonade as well. Overall a solid burger venue with a bit more menu variety than some competitors, although pricing is above average…

My partner and I visited on Saturday 21st January - booking is essential, it was very busy. Tucked away in one of the arches behind Borough Market it was a haven away from the bustle of the crowds. Industrial chic, great atmosphere and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. I am gluten free so to find somewhere that recognises this and provides top notch nosh is a bonus! We both had the Bougie (boojee) burger and it was delicious! You need plenty of napkins as it's a wonderful slippery experience wirh the divine gravy. The truffle tater tots were a perfect accompaniment. And as for thr milkshakes - heaven! We'd definitely go again. Very much 5 stars.

Saw the vids on Insta and TT (with wide angled lenses) and decided to give the Bougie Burger a go. Nice, but not great. It had a lovely bone marrow taste too. Service was great and very efficient. What let it down was what's called in the trade Amercican "jack cheese", which is basically a layer of yellow plastic. You know, you buy 15x slices at the supermarket for 85P in a pack! Then of course the size, really small served on a tea saucer size tray. Bit messy to eat by hand, so wash your hands first and tuck in. Take some wet wipes for after, as the burger has lots of sauce. Nothing great, just the typical sugar laden bbq or whatever it is. Nearly £30 for a tiny burger and a Aussie glass of vino... Next...

Burger & Beyond WOW well you certainly go beyond. Situated by the river wonderful restaurant. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and very helpful . From Mossarella sticks Bougie Burger (never tasted such an amazing tasty burger) truffle tots bone marrow gravy fries to die for to choc brownie delicious. We had an amazing evening well worth a visit. Thank you again to the staff for a wonderful and memorable evening will certainly being going again.
