Great beer selection, great Indian street food and friendly staff. Delicious, would recommend. The mango lassi dazzler pale ale is a must try!

Excellent and bustling place. Couldn't choose, so went for the combo and it was all delicious and all dishes were very different from each other. To have amazing craft ale with it was the icing on the cake. Brilliant!

Consistently amazing food and great service. Whether popping in for a pint and a snack, or going for a full blown meal, the food is always incredible. The paneer tikka is a favourite.

What an experience! First time eating here - the recommendation came from a local so we knew it would be good!! We had the platter for 2 and whilst we didn't really know what was on the platter it was fantastic!! Also, the locally brewed beer was amazing! Overall a fantastic evening!

Really liked the food, the staff was really lovely and patient. Just for awareness the music is quite loud and and there are mostly benches and stools to sit on so not the most comfortable.

Near instant service with some of the best vegetarian street food snacks I've ever had. So many delicious tapas style snacks to share. The combos are very good value and are generously portioned. Our food for 4 could have done 5 probably.

We had the paratha and thepla, okra fries, bhajis, and aloo and dhal kachori. Everything really nice. Recommend getting the dip trio with the fries! 4 plates between 2 of us was the perfect amount for lunch time. We sat on the little seat at the window at the front, perfect people watching spot and didn’t feel crammed in. Bag of spicy nuts were very good. Really nice to go somewhere and be able to eat everything on the menu 🥜🖤🍲

This place saved us on a busy Saturday night out in Leeds waiting for a club to open. Delicious food, cute decor. Order at the bar-type layout, works well and you get your food super fast. Pictured is the vegan combo for 2 - so much food I'm sure it'd suit 3 people! But delicious!

Visited on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Just wished I had the capacity to have been able to dispose of more than 3 dishes. Great buzz in there and excellent beer to go with it

We got served and unsustainable plastic and foam Tupperware. This is really bad for the environment you would think for an Indian company they would know better. I’m not very happy about this. Please do not eat here and pay into the system of killing the planet and the food wasn’t so good, neither I had deli belly.

Great food and friendly staff. Interesting beer selection and great mango cocktails. Bit cold by the door because closest heater was broken and really cold weather but staff were keen to help and found a solution. One of everything was perfect for 7 of us. Would definitely come back

As always amazing food service and drinks. You can't go wrong with the vada pav everytime. Will always love okra fries too, we will just never get sick of them. Always spot on and great food. Some really great beers on lately too.

We visited to sample some excellent beers and have a bite to eat whilst we were having our beer.

1st visit so didn't know what to expect. If you're wanting a romantic meal this isn't the place, it was quite noisy and the seating is basic BUT the food was amazing my wife is Vegan I'm Vegetarian so we were pleased to have a full menu to choose from. It was really busy for a Wednesday night so glad I'd booked a table. We'll definitely go again.

A fantastic restaurant in the centre of Leeds. There is a great selection of classic Indian street food which all tastes incredible. There is no meat on the menu and that is not an issue as all the dishes are filled with flavour and you are spoilt for choice. A great place for food in Leeds and you will have to book to ensure you can get in.

Nice atmosphere, variety drinks, and delicious Indian fast food experience.

The stars speak for themselves really. Everything was excellent. If they managed to improve upon anything next time I visited I would be astonished as every aspect of this meal was superb.

Bundobust is a cool, Indian, vegetarian tapas restaurant with the casual atmosphere of a bar. My friends and I are of the opinion that it’s a great venue for a first date. The only issue I have had with the place is that on my first visit some of the food came to our table cold, however, from what a friend told me this is quite unusual. The assortment of beers and drinks are really nice and I would definitely recommend the Okra fries (provided they turn up warm) and the Mango Lassi Beer.

Entering I sensed a warm welcoming atmosphere as if i was on the beaches of Mumbai (honestly if i took my shoes off i would’ve expected sand) I was greeted by a plethora of beers, each of which offered distinct character traits that tingles my precious tongue. Behind the bar laid several smiles that whispered promises of hearty conversation. Not to mention the food! The deconstructed samosas (bhel puri) whisked me off to the streets of Delhi, a divine dance that activated the senses reminiscent of an Bollywood classic. Overall decent! I literally BundoBUST :)

Always good food! It's often very busy so don't forget to book. They do an NHS discount which is very much appreciated too! The menu is all veggie and will come in little paper bowls/plates. You order 3-4 per person and it's good to try a range of Indian street food. Can be spicy!

The food is surprisingly quite authentic. They have nice cocktails too. The vibe is quite nice and upbeat

Great food and choice of drinks, as ever, with the added festive choices during the Christmas season. But the downside is they have a limited time for each table - only around an hour, which is hardly enough to have a good time and enjoy all the choices they have to offer. And the manager kept reminding us of our time and that we had to leave - very annoying and spoilt our experience in the end.

We ordered £60 worth of various food to share between 3 of us. It came promptly and there was plenty to go around. I tried a lot of things I hadn't had before and it was fantastic. Nice casual vibe to the restaurant, heartily recommend.

rubbish food, expensive drinks, watery curries, supermarket Bombay mix. uncomfortable bench seating. I don't like to give out low marks but this place deserves it. there are better curry houses that do veggie in the city.

For the first time coming to Budobust, they do a great variety of Indian food, mainly gujrati, despite being a gujrati myself, and I ordered a samosa chaat, and the taste was not too bad but the portion was small and it had less ingredients in but the chai tasted great

I rang to book a table and they said you can just walk in. I walked in asked for a table and they said they’re really busy, can we seat you outside.. to which I objected. They then found me a table for 2 inside large enough for a toddler! They recommend 2-3 dishes each, by this time there was no room for drinks or extra plates on the table and had to move things away from the table to make space. The food wasn’t to my expectations either.

Excellent dinner spot. Casual restaurant with a good range of vegan options. We had a celiac in our party who was very well catered for. Definitely book,as so many people were turned away while we were there. Good value and good service.

Went here on an evening out in Leeds with my wife who is veggie and a very good cook. Rarely do I hear my wife say things like "this is very, very good". Bundobust is an Indian tapas restaurant. This was our first visit and we went for the combo for two - several small dishes of deliciousness. The spicing was excellent and no grease, not landen with gee and no salt overload you get with most Indian restaurants. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Please bring out a cookbook. Well done Bundobust for a memorable foodie evening. Will 100% be returning.

Just amazing!! came here with my partner on a busy friday night and we were greeted by the friendliest of waitress. Big smile, was on it and incredibly helpful. We hadn’t eaten here before and so the waitress explained the menu to us, walked us through a gluten allergy ( lots of options) and suggested the combo for two ( which was the perfect amount of food and was all delicious). She came to check everything was alright with the food, asked how our night was going and was so attentive. The beer selection is also fab with lots of different things to try. Was so impressed with this place (have come to write this review the night of!!) , food and service is amazing, will definitely be returning! thankyou bundobust leeds!!

Absolutely love a good Bundo! The food is always absolutely delicious regardless of what you order, the service is fast and friendly, there is a cool atmosphere, and no animals were harmed in the making of this incredible restaurant chain - perfect 👌🏻

If you like traditional Indian food, do not go here. They served Puri as a flatbread, not a puff? I was so shocked, It was smothered in oil and so heavy and hadn’t risen which comes from not cooking it in hot enough oil or rolling the dough properly. They put cumin in my cocktail but far too much it was awful, they had no vegan chai left but no other hot drinks on the menu (masala tea??) which is weird and disappointing. They sat us outside in November and we asked if a table becomes available inside please could you move us - they said they’d have to add us to a waiting list and “see” which I didn’t understand if we were already seated in the restaurant why would we have to wait again? There’s no cushions on the benches outside so they are rock solid to sit on and super uncomfortable. The chole is BARELY spiced which is not traditional at all, should be spicy. They serve everything on paper plates which is bad for the environment throwing away every day but also hard to eat. In standard Indian restaurants they serve on metal trays/plates so you can mix food and eat easily with your hand which wasn’t available here. I think if you never eat traditional Indian food then this place could be nice to try as some of the food flavours were nice, but they should really advertise it as fusion English/Indian cuisine not “traditional street food” as the waitress said to us when we sat down. My suggestion would be to hire some/more Indian chefs who can advise on proper spices and cooking as well as devising a better menu.

So, i ordered online.. from deliveroo. Unfortunately, the paneer I had was a big disappointment. It was overly tough and lacked the expected soft and creamy texture. The flavor was bland and didn't have the delicious smoky or spicy notes I was hoping for. The thepla lacked the traditional flavors and was surprisingly dry and chewy. It lacked the aromatic blend of spices that usually makes this Gujarati dish so delightful. As for the paratha, it was overly greasy and heavy, making it difficult to enjoy. The lack of proper filling or seasoning left both of these dishes underwhelming and far from satisfying." "Gobi Manchurian is usually a favorite of mine, but the one I had recently was a complete letdown. Gobi munchurian made by crushed cabbage and carrot.. while it is made from whole cauliflower florets they were overly battered and deep-fried to the point where they were greasy and lost their texture. The sauce lacked the right balance of flavors, with an excessive sweetness and not enough of the expected tangy or spicy notes. Overall, it was a disappointing dish that didn't live up to the usual standards of Gobi Manchurian." Please identify the ingredient and choose them wisely... Please keep in mind that the quality of these dishes could be better by employing a right person as cook.

Best place to eat - period. Always come here when we're in Leeds and Manchester. Great food and great beers. Been so many times and literally never had anything less than an amazing experience! Please open another branch in York!

Taste good but it’s not authentic Indian food. Like samosa chaat, it was made with some papdi only mixed with boiled potato and topped with yogurt. Also kachori, it was more fried Aalu tikki topped with daal mixture.

Average.... but certainly not too bad... good for one time visit.....

A truly authentic experience for the tastebuds with a great atmosphere. What’s not to love? The service is friendly and the advice about what to have was amazing. Then the taste! It’s just like being in India. Thank you so much for such an unexpected treat. The beer is ace too. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS FOR YOURSELVES TO APPRECIATE IT. Enjoy 😊

Excellent spot in the centre of town, fun decor great for groups or couples, even a courtyard at the back. Vast selection of authentic Indian dishes, very reasonable prices. Amazing selection of their own beers, perfectly pair with the dishes. Want to try their cocktails next time! Recommend booking for guaranteed table. Not to be missed!

We are meat lovers so this place could of turned out bad. I am pleased to say we left very impressed. The tapas style food portions are an excellent way to sample the many delights on the menu. The Bundobust own beer range is also very refreshing and makes a change to your normal every day brands. The joint has a real vibe going, full of people and noise. We love it and will defo return. Expect a little wait for your table but nothing major, grab a Bundobust beer while u wait.

Wow what an absolutely super place. Got to admit wasn't sure what we'd get as my wife and I love Indian food and good beer but combining it? and a chain? and always suspicious of the term 'Street Food' as too often this is code for 'small portions'. Straight away the welcome could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely range of super beers on draft, about six I think. Didnt know what to eat or how many to order and the lovely waitress suggested we try a combo. Wow was it good. Every single dish was really tasty and although didn't look huge we were both full by the end. They had a great cucumber dish and when we asked what the dressing was the waitress went in to the kitchen and worte down the recipe/ingredients for us! My wife just mentioned in passing it was my birthday and the waitress told us we got a free beer.... How good was it all? We cant wait to go back..

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan Indian street food here. Every dish is packed full of flavours. Great atmosphere, very relaxed and a friendly welcome. Definitely will be returning soon.

Food is always great, and the cocktails are worth it too! Portions might look small but they’re more than filling. Only downside is each time I’ve been, I’ve been squished next to a stranger which doesn’t leave much room.

Friendly staff. Nice vegetarian Indian food and good beer. The food is street food style so the portions are smaller but priced appropriately. It means you get to try lots of different dishes.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was just outstanding, every dish surprising in its own way. I don’t go often to vegetarian restaurants but I was SO glad we did this time. Literally every bite was a little party in your mouth. And the staff was just so nice and easy-going, loved it!!

A bust of a meal! I've been here numerous times and all have been good but this visit was terrible. Firstly waiting for a table when there were many free tables is clearly a way to get people to buy more drinks at the bar. After buying a drink a table at suddenly appeared despite being told the wait was 15 mins. The food was cold or lukewarm and clearly someone got a bit carried away with the salt. I don't think I'll be back here again given all the other options in Leeds.

What a juicy little find this was! Beautifully pit together Indian Street food with a wide range of options, no meat! A grand selection of beers available too. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Fab atmosphere, well worth a visit!

Superb vegan food and drinks. Try the chole saag for amazing depth of flavour (served with excellent puri too). Or the rajma. And definitely the bhaji. Or anything really. Great beer and drinks too. And the staff are super-nice. Best vegan place in Leeds city centre? Yeah, I think so.

This place is spot on! The beer, the food and location is fantastic.... don't miss meat on the menu here because flavour and choice take over... Great choice of beers and drinks, with helpful staff that dont mind showing the offers to be had.

Absolutely love the food here and staff are lovely. It gets very noisy when full at busy times so if you struggle to hear, aim for a quieter time of day.

The booking system is miserable and the staff is very very rude!!!! AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE FOR SURE! We went to enjoy the special day but the staff didn’t made our booking and they have been extremely rude to deal with it!! AVOID AVOID!! We (11 people) went to next door restaurant!!!

Visited this place for the first time today - it will not be the last. It is a combination of very tasty vegetarian/vegan Indian foods and a bar with excellent beers mostly from Bundobust brewery in Manchester. At the bar they gave tasters of the beers. The Indian food was amongst the best I have ever had.

Stunning. Love visiting here when in Manchester. Dishes are really reasonably priced. Food comes in good time. Love that they do a decent selection of mocktails as well as the normal alcoholic beverages because I’m not a big drinker. You might have to share tables with other diners but that’s the vibe.
