Definitely the best curry I’ve had! Brilliant service from all staff. Good find for after a rugby match! Food was very fresh and cocktails were really good!

The food was amazing and very delicious , the staff are very friendly and many thanks to lakan for making us feel so welcome. We were there In Saturday night and they had a live band playing and the atmosphere was very fun and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this bar for families and we can’t wait to enjoy our weekend there again

Stopped here randomly whilst looking for a drink and some food on a golfing trip. Running out of time we ordered curry and sat down. I’m struggling to think of a better tasting curry in my memory. Very polite staff, but honestly the curry was worth the stop! Highly recommend giving the food a go.

Great Indian food in a pub-like atmosphere. Easy access from the subway and Ramada Inn. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the TV in the dining area. Eating with music videos flashing on a screen doesn't suit me. Everything else was excellent.

From the outside this is a big Victorian pub of obviously fading glory. On the inside someone has tried really hard to remove every single period feature that the pub may once have had and replaced it with cheap tables and seating. You do not go to this pub for its decor. The service was ok, the guy that service me was polite though i did have to request a glass for my bottle of coke. The coffee was very average and quite weak tasting. I asked for a latte but he was unable to steam the milk properly so as is often the case with poorly trained baristas in the UK, i got more of a lattecino than a latte. THe music in the pub was from a radio station and a little louder than it needed to be, the station dropped into adverts every few minutes which i would have rather not listened to. Surely playing constant music without adverts is not that difficult in this day and age? If this is the best pub in Hounslow, we are in serious trouble!

A hybrid fusion of flavour and pub. A must stop location. We visited on Friday night and had the best experience. Beer was cold and the food was hot. A great example of service with a smile and friendly staff.

Excellent pub, clean facilities and although we didn’t eat, the smells being emitted from the kitchen were top notch. It is an odd mix to have pub and Indian restaurant in one but it kinda works. My grandpa’s ‘never say potatoes’ attitude was welcomed in the Bullstrode.

I had a nice lunch at The Bulstrode Pub . My lamb Madras was tasty. Inch's Cider was nice. And I enjoyed my chat with Renata the bar maid.

Preiswertes Pub mit sehr gutem Essen und grossem Garten. Die Lage neben der U-Bahnstation war für uns ideal auf dem Weg zum Hotel. Das indische Essen ist sehr gut und die Preise sind angemessen. Wir hatten hier mehrmals Lamm oder Curry mit Reis und Nan. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Down for the rugby and found this surprisingly good pub by accident. English and Indian food far better than normal pub standards. A special thanks to the amazingly pleasant and hard-working Polish lady (sorry, I don't have her name) who had come in on her day off to staff the bar.

As far as venues go, the pub is quite a typical pub, but don't let that fool you. Great choice of beer and good atmosphere, the staff are lovely. Now onto the good stuff... The food is impeccable. Great price, great flavour and good portions. Curry, Naan and Rice is all you need.

Like to have a drink here as part of staying at the Travelodge for an overnight stay before our flight. Good prices, but this time we decided to eat as the menu looked pretty tasty. What a great decision the curry was fantastic, tasty starters and side, nice treat to start our holiday. Not forgetting the polite and friendly service from all the staff.

A superb curry and a couple of beers is perfect before an early night and jumping on the Piccadilly line first thing tomorrow for an early flight. Attentive service, polite and top quality food. Thumbs up all round.

I have six hours to kill at Heathrow. Its the pandemic. Heathrow is dead and I hate place anyway. 2 tube stops to Hounslow. first pub out the tube station, a real pub garden, friendly staff doing the right thing: track and trace, temp check, hands cleaned, in you go. Food is simple but tasty Indian, the owner is about - I have no idea how he's managed to keep the place going.. The barmaid is achingly beautiful and funny / smart / sharp doesn't miss a thing. The loos are clean and well-organised. Everything works - the wifi is fast, and the place is sunny. I kill four hours working, drinking, nibbling and enjoying the gentle coming and going of a small number of people. I hope you guys are OK and come out of covid... Thank you.

Indian food is really good, and i wish they had more vegan options. Staff is always friendly and they have a few screens where they often show cricket and football. Very comfortable outdoor seating. Literally seconds away from Hounslow Central tube station and 5 min walk from high street. I’m told they’re refurbishing it and will re-open soon.

Visited a couple of times in December while working in the area. Great building in the main road with a great English/Indian menu. Shows sport too. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Tried the chicken burger which is a large succulent piece of chicken breast in afresh bun with fries. Offered with a Bullstrode lager for £7.50 and really great value.Will be a regular visitor when in Hounslow

We had our annual AGM in the function room at the Bulstrode and what a great time we had. The room was convieniently laid out and was very spacious.The food was excellent, we had ordered a range of starters and mains and had no complaints at all. The service was excellent and we were never forgotten.The pub garden was well laid out and the drinks selection catered for all.We will definitely be coming again!

Good pub with English & India food and normal selection of beers for an English Pub. We had Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala which were both good though not outstanding. The Bulstrode was a good option to the hotel restaurant where we were staying. A solid four stars but not a five. Recommended.

My cricket club had their winter party/awards evening there. Karthik and the team delivered on all fronts. Good value, tasty food that pleased a demanding clientele. A perfect evening.

Went to dinner one night and had awesome fish and chips. The next night I went back and had awesome Indian food. Most nights they serve English food until 5:30 pm and then Indian food afterwards. My wife and I were very happy with the food, service, and value. Will definitely keep coming back.

The Bulstrode offers two menus; traditional English and Indian. We opted to try the Indian dishes and were so glad we did! The chef serves restaurant quality, home cooked, authentically Indian dishes of an outstanding standard.

One of the best curry houses I have been to. Naan bread is very nice. Curry’s are all loverly tasting. Would defiantly recommend. Great food great service. Best in Hounslow

Me, my mum and sisters were staying in Hounslow in a nearby hotel. Due to long delays with the tube we had an hour or so to kill. This bar looked welcoming and inviting so we popped in and we wasn’t wrong. It has outdoor seating, the food looked nice although we didn’t order any and the inside is quirky and clean.

I've been coming to this place for the last so many years thanks to its fabulous food and service. Staff like Karthik, Paulina, Aga are the best in their service and always take care of me. The owners Vijay and family have done a fantastic job of keeping the highest standards of quality and service with a smile.

Had two dinners there , one just English food , the second I had samosas from their Indian menu —- they were delicious.

Convenient tube ride from airport. Great Indian food-lamb dishes were excellent. Burgers were sub par. Staff was friendly and signage made you smile. Lovely outside seating with cool music. Could use a pigeon screen.

We went here because it is right near where we are staying and it looked like it was a restaurant with full service. However, you choose from the menu and order from the bar and food is delivered to your table. I ordered Chicken Vindaloo and my husband ordered Fish & Chips at 6:15 pm. About 5 minutes later, the bartender told us that you could not order from the English menu after 6 pm, so she refunded our original order. When we placed the order again, she told me that Vindaloo is spicy. I said I was aware of that and asked her to add a garlic naan. My husband ordered Lamb Korma. About 7:15 pm, my husband's korma arrived. The waitperson asked me what else we were waiting for and I told him that I had ordered a Chicken Vindaloo and Garlic Naan. He came back to our table and said there was no order for that meal and did I want to order it then. We had spent the whole day traveling and then waited 45 minutes for the Korma, so we did not want to wait until after 8 pm to start our meal. The bartender -- who had a conversation with me about the spiciness of the dish I ordered -- denied that I had ordered it. It's too bad that they're the only game in town.

Having read positive reviews concerning the food served up at this pub, my wife and myself decided to try a selection from the Indian menu last Sunday night before driving home to the Midlands.

Had awesumest onion pakodas at this place. Also chicken pakodas are to die for. The ale and Beer variety is amazing and the ambience has both outdoor and indoor seating. Naice for a fun tym with frnds.

It was a pub. We got food. Nothing more exciting. We sat on ripped seats and were somewhat stared at by some of the locals. We stayed at Hounslow before our Heathrow flight to Alaska. Maybe we looked out of place. We felt it.

I popped in here the other night I saw on trip advisor they did an English menu and an Indian menu. It is like a normal pub had football on tv screens all over not that I'm into football. But they had a smashing pint of London Pride had 3 of them lovely.

This place was located between the Ramada and The Tube station in Hounslow. Saw their sign for 4.95pound full English Breakfast and popped in. Pretty quiet at 11am, the only other table was occupied by a group of Parking Enforcement Officers, always a good sign for a restaurant. The rest of the day the menu is British Pub Food or Indian Food, a sign that Hounslow is an immigrant neighborhood. Good food, good price, good service.

Tasty food with good portions and with a friendly service

I've been frequenting the Bulstrode for a couple of years now and have never left disappointed. The staff are always attentive and courteous and the food is excellent and value for money.

A perfect place for both food and drinks. Without any doubt, I can say that this is the best restaurant in London to treat you with the fresh authentic Indian food. I have had many meals around London and have also spent a fortune in some restaurants only to come back over and over again for the delicious food served all fresh at this wonderful and friendly place. This place always lived up to my expectations and would say value for money Lively and friendly ambience, even on dull afternoons one can enjoy the company of the owner, Vijay.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Always happy to have a drink here after work. The garden has been improved recently and there is a nice sitting area to enjoy with your friends. You have a choice if Indian or English food. Portions are good sizes and prices are not bad either.

An unlikely place however service was excellent, staff welcoming and friendly. I had a lamb madras and it was one of the best I have ever had. Nice soft lamb perfectly spiced. This will be a regular stop for me when I am in Hounslow. Thanks

The bangers and mash were fine, and the chicken tikka was very good. Nice outdoor area in the back. Pub is congenial and steps from the Hounslow Central Tube stop.
