It's full of builders in the mornings and lets face it, they tend to know what a god fry up is. And breakfast here is very good. Nothing fancy but covers all of the major food groups - sausages, bacon, eggs, beans or whatever else you like in the morning. It's quick, generous portions and the staff are friendly. Great for a take-out too.

Just had the best pie I've had in ages! I was gagging for a gravy meal and saw they did pies! I wanted steak but unfortunately wasn't to be lol ended up with the meatiest home made beef and Guinness pie with chips peas and Gravy! I have to admit I couldn't work it all as their was just too much :) and the amount of meat in it was overwhelming :) wish I lived round here! I'd become a right fat but content git lol It's also a very clean and reasonably priced cafe with great staff! Hope to be back in the area again!

I used to live in this area so was surprised when someone recommended this place for lunch as it was never a venue I would have thought of. Glad I listened Although the pub was quiet the manager/barmaid/waitress was lovely & attentive & all 5 of of us enjoyed our meals & desserts. Will definitely visit again

123 High StreetWell run pub. Clean, tidy and good service. Football on TV and a range of pub food options. Parking also on site.

11-13 Thames RdEaten here several times and generally the food has been very good, as well as the service. The stall pie on my last visit was particularly tasty and I would highly recommend. It had a good crust and tender well flavoured tender yet firm beef.

11 London RoadA good place in an interesting location. It felt a bit unpromising on the inside (although I can see other reviews stating a revamp and I did visit last about 18 months ago). Really enjoyed it and it was part of a good crawl through Brentford. Visited again on 21st December 2024 and it hasn't been notably revamped. Table are like those in a Munich beer garden - but much shorter. A couple of handpumps I believe. Still a very nice place.

479 London RoadThis coffee is lovely. Has good coffee, slightly overpriced sandwiches (but delicious). But like any drink, needs to be made my staff trained well. Whilst the ladies were lovely, notably one ?new women, was overwhelmed by the small order load. And they have scorched the milk to lava, the coffee is burnt to high heaven and now my lips are on fire. I will be back, because it is a good coffee shop.
