It is what it is. Quite tired really. Same old same old. But some great real ales.

£17 for 2 vodka and redbull. The glasses used were small, red bull was flat and warm and no ice. No respect for the drink or customers. No wonder the pub is usually empty.

A good pint of Carlsberg and at a great price too, and they do a good Karaoke 🎤 night 🌃

Good service but seemed a bit flat for Xmas day! No Xmas music etc.

I'm no beer expert, but we spent a good chunk of our evening drinking Birra Moretti's in the Webb Ellis nearby. When we arrived I was asked if Moretti in a Carlsberg glass was ok? "Sure" I said, no problem, I'm not a difficult man. But these were definitely not three pints of Moretti. They were something else. Maybe Carlsberg? On moving on to the Lawrence Sheriff further down the road we were back on to proper Moretti's. Don't treat us like mugs, serving us inferior beer! Just tell us it's off!

Never ever had a decent still cider, the nearest was Old Rosie vile cloudy cider , only good for summer music festivals and apre surfing. Either way ,has no relevance in Rugby .😱

Visited The Bull, Rugby, Saturday 10th June. I went to hear the amazing beats and mixes from one of Rugby finest DJ’s. Unfortunately my experience was ruined by 45 mins of football commentary. Luckily for me, a Champions League Final only lasts 45 mins, at which point the DJ was able to bang out all the hits, with an amazing light show. From being incredibly busy for the first 45mins, and having difficultly getting served, the place soon emptied. I was able to enjoy the DJ all to myself, as it was only me, the DJ and Bar staff, what an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Visited after the refurbishment. Great pub, well organised. OK selection of beers. Music was far too loud for a Saturday afternoon, or any afternoon. Turn it down so its in the background and you can chat with your palls.

Passing by I popped into The Bull and was greeted by a comforting sign, the Cask Marque certificate on a bank of a great selection of cask ales. I tried 2 of the guest ales whilst there and both were perfect, had a chat and banter with some of the other patrons and really enjoyed my visit. Would definitely recommend

Cheap pint of Abbot, well kept. Was there at lunchtime, and only a handful of pensioners in there moaning about the local council... not exactly welcoming, but top marks for the beer.

A lovely pub ... Absolutely fantastic staff , very welcoming and very nice.. An obvious choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages .. Lots of screens for sports fans a pool table and a variety of machines for your entertainment. I will definitely go back to The Bull when I'm in Rugby again ...

If you are looking for a proper pub then this is it. It had a choice of ales and plenty of TVs for sport. The staff greeted us when we arrived and had us complete track and trace. There was sanitiser available and the pub felt safe. We had a great time

Been in here a couple of times. Always greeted with a friendly smile. Service was great, even though it was really busy. Plenty of seating and the beer was good too. Next time I'm back in the area, will definitely nip in.

Nice to see that in a country on it’s knees you can still get a proper pint in a proper pub. Special shout out to one bartender in particular- Jess, and whoever DJs on quiz night.

Nice boozer if a bit intense on the tv screens

This place is still much as it has been for many decades. There's a few newer furnishings, but it's still got an old feel to it. It hasn't really kept up with other modernising pubs and drinks were a little pricier than other pubs, but by no means expensive. I had forgot about the two steps on the way to the toilets, and though driving and sober still managed to trip on both of them. Toilets were significantly below standard, stinking of urine doesn't encourage one to keep drinking there. The place was fairly busy though and this perhaps came down to the saving grace of a pleasant and attentive barmaid. The place had a calm atmosphere, I'm guessing this is more of the local regulars pub we would normally appreciate.

i diont often use as a local was there for a pool match, great bar staff and homely atmosphere live tv sports etc really enjoyed my evening.

Use the bull quite regular called in for my regular pint and a coffee for the wife, got my pint and told by the lady she would bring the coffee over, waited for the coffee for a while and sign of it even being poorer.went...
