Went for a quiet dinner.Steak wasn’t bad,slightly tough.Giving four star for side dishes.Will give a try for other main dishes on my next visit.

Just had a couple of fantastic 11oz Anchos with my brother along with a delicious bottle of Malbec. Simple, unfussy food where the emphasis was on quality steak and lovely hospitality from the manager Christian. You can over-complicate life, but great food, great wine and great company = recipe for a memorable night out. Def going back 👍

I was warmly welcomed upon arrival, which set the tone for a great dining experience. I ordered the Ancho (rib-eye steak) with chips, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. Afterward, I enjoyed a rich and smooth espresso, followed by a mouthwatering Argentine pancake with dulce de leche for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal. Overall, a fantastic experience, with great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Service was fine. My wife’s steak was fine but my ribeye was undercooked for medium rare but was warm but while we sorted out the watery creamed spinach which was really poor the steak had cooled and along with the inedible fat on a ribeye steak made it impossible to eat. When the waitress collected the plates she said you should have said! Don’t waste time or money on a Malbec source as it doesn’t have any taste and is far too watery and had to be exchanged for blue cheese. Cocktails were great even at £11 a pop. They knocked off the watery spinach and said that you should have said about the steak even though I left half of it. I have been to Buenos Aires restaurants before but not this level of service or quantity of food. Overall very disappointing. Avoid

The waiter gave me the wrong dinner, and when I pointed it out he argued that I was wrong. I had rump steak, the other 3 with me had fillet, so it was plain to see he dished it out wrong. My steak was undercooked so went back. All four of our dinners were very salty. To their credit though the bill was adjusted at the end. Its a shame because we had been many times before and always had a good meal, but this time was very bad.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. It's not the cheapest but more than worth the money. Even attended with my partner, who is a vegetarian, and they had reasonable selection and beautiful cooked. Will never go back to Miller and Carter

I have been wanting to visit Buenos Aires for years but for one reason or another I haven't been able to. This year for my birthday I made sure of heading here for my birthday meal, and what an amazing meal it was. Firstly as soon as we stepped in the restaurant the manager (who happened to be looking after us) made us feel so welcome, like we were old family. We had two kids in our party and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after. Between us we had fish, steak and burger and all the meals were superbly presented, tasted delicious and portion sizes were perfect. Two of the party had the steak sharer with the malbec infused salt - the manager gave excellent advice on the correct level of cooking for each of the cuts, and made sure we knew which cut was which when serving. We thought the salt could have been a bit of a gimmick but it really added a lot to the cuts. Desert wise our party tried a couple of the different options on offer and they certainly didn't disappoint either. From a drinks perspective the restaurant offers a good range of wines, and great mocktails. If you have the chance I would definitely recommend trying the limoncello as well. Personally this meal experience for me has been the best one for quite a few years, and I am very glad I decided to push on with my desire to have my birthday meal here this year. I just hope I can return again soon.

My partner and I went for dinner and had the empanadas, king prawns, sirloin, and rump. Everything was brilliantly cooked and service was great.

Steak (what they are now for) for me meh I have my steak blue so thjs review won't affect the average person Overall as follows Ordered blue steak Rare arrived Made them aware and they replaced the steak. It looked no different to the steak they took away still rare I'm with family I'm not gonna keep asking. They did say what they gave me was the legal limit on blue steak. So the legal limit is rare. The advertise blue steak. They cannot cook blue steak. Also I enjoy the taste of my steak so no sauce. I don't know if they use a chemical on their grill but my steak had a strong taste of a chemical I have been to this restaurant often but the last 3 visits have had issues but this visits was one of the worst cooked steaks I have ever had at a restaurant

Disappointing Dining Experience. My recent visit to left much to be desired. Despite its promising reputation, the overall experience was underwhelming at best. The food was strictly average. The steaks, which are supposed to be the star of the menu, were poorly seasoned and average quality . Side dishes were bland and uninspired, lacking the flavor one expects from a restaurant specializing in steak. For the price point, I expected a much higher quality of food. Service was another significant letdown. There was no warmth or effort to make diners feel welcome, which contributed to a rather cold atmosphere. One of the most frustrating aspects of the evening was the severe lack of toilet facilities. With over 30 tables which can accommodate over100 customers and only one toilet available, the wait times were unacceptable. This oversight led to an uncomfortable and inconvenient experience, detracting significantly from the enjoyment of the meal. In summary, it failed to deliver on multiple fronts. With average food, impersonal service, and inadequate facilities, it is not a place I would recommend. There are many other establishments that offer a far superior dining experience.

Some of the best steak ever. They know their way around a grill. Delicious Malbec. My mother had a “Groucho” steak salad and was very happy. Excellent service. Bit of a hidden gem somehow in Reigate.

Again visited this restaurant tonight and although it was busy we had the most amazing service! Food so tasty and wine well advised. We have been here so many times and they go above and beyond to have fun and give attentive service every single time. Look forward to next time

Had a voucher to use, so gave it a chance, well so glad we did from the moment we entered the service was friendly & professional, but the food was amazing 8oz sirloin cooked to perfection & 14oz rib eye was just a mouth watering dream, steak at its best. Side of spinach just perfect. Great value would highly recommend, well done to the front of house & all behind the scenes, thanks will definitely return.

I was looking forward to dining here for my birthday meal. We both had the fillet steak and a starter. Starter was a little bit on the small side and the serving of chips and salad were incredibly tight. The steak was succulent and tasty. I did mention the lack of salad and chips but nothing was done to rectify this. Otherwise, staff were great, albeit a bit too tentative except, of course, when I stated my disappointment at the portion sizes. To conclude, I won't be in a rush to come back here. I went home hungry and ate more at home which totally defeats the object of having a meal out.

Quite expensive, toilet...male one was dirty, a lot of dust, broken toilet seat, stain everywhere, water taps already change colours from silver to stain patina... Steaks- almost £19 , Steak it self really nice , but toppings was like on pizza Fries - that only thing what was really brilliant Two meals ( steak ) 2x fries , 2x starters ( 6 calamari rins and 5 King prawns) , one coke and one beer was cost £74 To sum up , if it will be £20 less it will be great 👍

Went with my friend who came from the USA yesterday evening 21 March food was fab wine and starters I had ribeye medium rare , cooked to perfection, succulent just the right amount of fat . My only gripe and I told the server Lewis that the mango cheesecake was a bit dry for me but I would come again and would recommend it as a great steakhouse my friend was impressed with everything and we even took pictures with the server and there was a lady serving us too . Thought also sauce for the steak would be included but wasn’t and could have been slightly thicker .

Love this restaurant! It was our first date as a couple and we’ve been going back ever since. The service, red wine and food never fail us. We highly recommend it!

Lovely little restaurant but can be very noisy depending on where you are sat. Biggest disappointment was the food, started our garlic bread arrived burnt and the steaks were hit and miss. Some burnt in the outside while others perfect. Overall a nice experience but nothing special

We went here for a meal, as well as other BA restaurants and OMG is it worth visiting. The vibes they create with the background music are spot on, the grub is also like eating at a 5* michelin top of the range establishment and the staff are also very respectful and welcoming too! The aubergine and goats cheese starter topped the feast off for me

A real treat - delicious steak, excellent creamed spinach and one of the best house reds I’ve had!

I’ve never felt less impressed at a plate of unprepared, unrested steak in my life. I ordered medium to well done fillet steak. It came out rare, I asked for it to be cooked and rested a little longer. 5 mins later it came out as medium rare and zero rested, so I ended up with undercooked meat for my taste and a plate swimming with blood. My wife asked for medium rare and received it blue, she also asked for it to be cooked a little longer, just for it to be slightly seared on the outside and still blue in the middle. Neither of us were able to eat our meal. All of that for a £136.58 Needless to say, I do not recommend Buenos Aires in Reigate.

Had the best 12oz fillet steak in a long long time!! Tender, perfectly cooked and no fat whatsoever, simply amazing!!

Excellent meal at the Argentian steak House. Steak and sides were all perfectly good and the service and friendly and efficient. Thank you to Luis, our waiter who made our visit so enjoyable. Reasonably priced for the meal we were served and relaxed comfortable restaurant. We would recommend it and will come back ourselves

Great friendly service and nice restaurant that’s very clean, but unfortunately the food is just not worth the price. The steak was over cooked and was quite tasteless. The meat needed more seasoning (we couldn’t taste any) and didn’t seem like very high quality.

Booked a very very last minute/late reservation for my birthday. Food was great and overall the vibes in the place were amazing (though the music choice was... Interesting). Got the steak and it was definitely worth the cost. Service was some of the best I've had too, speed was ridiculous.

Had a great time here. The place was clean, the food was awesome and the service was extremely friendly. There was a little bit of confusion with one item on the menu and this was quickly cleared up. The starters, mains and desserts were all tasty and very generous sizes. We've wanted to go here for quite a while and on the strength of this visit I would definitely go again. One of the best restaurants in Reigate, easily.

Came for my Grandad’s 90th Birthday today and the service, hospitality and food were all incredibly. Truly made all of our days, especially Grandad’s. I am Gluten and Dairy free too and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

A bit more pricey than your average restaurant, but this is not an average restaurant, and you get what you pay for.

Cannot fault the actual steak ordered but other elements mean a lower rating. The house red was also delicious. The side salad cost £4.50 and can only be described as “most basic”. The leaves were of very low quality - the type you’d be happy with if you’d bought a “basics” bag from supermarket. This undermined the whole meal because the sides make the steak shine! The service was nice; very pleasant staff. But the restaurant itself feels and looks grubby. There was visible dust and grime on ledges and windowsills. I also don’t appreciate establishments that add service charge for what is actually just “what a restaurant does”. We were a table of 2 - no special treatment - being asked to pay 12.5% extra for what was a essentially a highly priced meal. I would have tipped of my own will if not patronised.

Very disappointed with the food last night. We went there for a birthday treat meal at 6.30pm. They had already 'run out' of lamb so my wife had to order the chicken schnitzel as she doesn't eat beef. It was rock hard and impossible to cut. She persevered for a bit as we don't like to complain but it was impossible to eat so we had to inform the waiter who was very apologetic and arranged a replacement. This was much better but what was the chef thinking serving up the first one as it was inedible. Expected better from a meal that cost us £120 for 3 people. Waiter and waitresses were nice and attentive.

GCSE results night. Seems we always find an excuse to eat here, and we're never disappointed. Food and service are great.

The service was mediocre/ OK but the whole vibe was terrible. Sat by the window which had a cill covered in food which had been flicked from the table during the three squirt, wipe down clean. Wine was nice and starters turned up quite quickly but the mains, which were simple steaks, took over 60 mins. Ended up leaving without having our main course as we had been waiting for ages. The waiter was great but the venue and general attention to detail was way off the mark. The gentleman’s toilet was a mass puddle of piss and the whole venue felt a little shabby. I remember when Buenos Aries was something special, now it’s totally lost it’s way - this is what happens when the management turn their back on the establishment. Purley restaurant used to be great, if only Reigate could come close. James

A nice meal in a lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Steak was good but the last time I ate there it was a better cut of meat. It's a shame they've also stopped doing their special offers such as BOGOF on steaks on a Tuesday or a free bottle of wine on a Wednesday, etc. Would recommend.

It started well with a wonderful cocktail but overall unfortunately it has declined since we ate here last year. There was a mix up in the kitchen in regards to the doneness of our steaks which they quickly tried to correct but even then my steak was over peppered with too little salt. The creamed spinach tastes oddly floury. Lovely fries and sauces, the starters were good but the tomato salad was quite basic. The staff were very nice and attentive.

The Buenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse in Reigate is an outstanding restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the steak is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. It was the best steak I had in uk so far. The wine list is extensive and the side dishes are excellent. Highly recommended!

Good food, decent service, but a little pricey - not astronomical by any means, but enough to notice the difference to other local places when feeding 4. Would go back.

It is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Reigate. But it is fair to say that it says more about the other restaurants than about Buenos Aires Argentina Steak house. The service when I was there was somewhat botched (waiters seemed lost, food coming to the wrong tables...). The steaks were very good. But I found the prices a little high. The children's menu (hamburger) was a let down: burger's bread with a dry hamburger.

It was a nice evening, food was average. For a place in reigate, you may expect a bit more.

The best ribeye steak I've had for a while. Cooked to perfection just melted in the mouth. Fab Arginine wines very highly recommend. Try these guys and you will not return to the steakhouse chains ( you know who they are ).

Wine is excellent, good service. Just my 2 lamb pieces which I asked for as medium rare were like 2 different orders. One dry as a bone the other medium well. Maybe I should not have expected good non beef mains at a steakhouse. Probably my error.

Every single item, from the tomato garnishing the provoleta to the creamy spinach was seriously tasty. The steak, goes without saying, is fabulous, however you'll have it; the real surprise was the vegetarian options. Divine provoleta and portobello burger. Everything is always delicious! Even for a business lunch, everything is cooked with heart. The waiters are helpful and smiling.

The staff went out of their way - beyond the call of duty- to provide us with a meal on New Year’s Day and the food was excellent.

My first visit to this great restaurant yesterday, early evening ,Sunday 30th October. I went with my brother and friend who had always raved his good the steaks were. They were right - the rump steaks were delicious. Service excellent and we had highly entertaining conversations with the staff. Thank you for a great evening. I have already recommended a work colleague to go there!

My wife and I had a lovely meal here last week. Christian, the manager, was a very warm host helping to make the night enjoyable. The steaks are not thin like you get in a lot of restaurants. They were actually thick and so were cooked as requested - medium so were still pink on the inside with a good char on the outside. Exactly the way it should be. The vegetable side dishes were not over cooked and still had a bite. Only criticism is that they were slightly over salted, but this is minor. Staff were happy and overall the place had a good vibe. Overall highly recommended.

Mediocre at best. Sauces were grim. Steaks were just about OK. Chocolate fudge cake was so so dry. Sick the next day, so best check their food hygiene rating.

My wife and I went to dinner here on Friday 22nd July. I have to say that the food was fantastic. What let the place down was the service. There didn't appear to be anyone supervising the staff, who were all young people. We were given the wrong wine (we are not really factoring this that much in the review as we enjoyed the wine and we could have said something at the time which we did not). At one stage I had to get up to get the attention of staff so we could order some deserts. They came over with the menu and after around 10 minutes I had to get the attention of the staff again to order who got someone else who brought over the bill. Although the food was extremely nice I do not think we will be back as the restaurant is not cheap we do expect much better service.

I’ve eaten here a few times and can’t recommend it enough. The food is good, the staff are well-mannered and exceptional. If you’re in the area or in the surrounding areas; I’d recommend here.

Really lovely food and great staff - restaurant jam packed on a Friday night. Only downside was having to suffer a table of four youths who had no manners or consideration for other customers. Best beef empanadas I’ve had!

Absolutely remarkable food experience out of this world

We had a nice meal for Father’s Day but very overpriced for what it was. The sauces that usually come with a steak at a small price were just under £3 each, we had 3 different ones and they were tiny pots. There was pink rock salt on the plate which if you didn’t realise what it was made your dish very salty which is what happened to my husband, the salt should be served separately as not everyone likes salt. There is also an added 12.5% tip on the bill which I believe should be a discretionary amount that each client should have an option of paying, ours was just under £18 which we thought was really high. We always tip when we eat out but we decide on the amount, I don’t believe it should be the restaurant’s decision!

We loved this place . . They squeezed us in at almost 9pm when we had a disaster with our hotel . Food was Amazing Service was welcoming and just perfect . Somewhere you just can't afford to miss !!!!
