A great welcoming traditional cafe. Called in early in the morning as an alternative to a ‘corporate’ hotel breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. Blown away by the nostalgic menu. A great atmosphere of ‘workers’ banter while filling up on breakfast and tea. Service was accommodating and friendly. The food was quality and filling. Definitely well worth a visit for breakfast

One of the best for value cafes in Bromley. Good service with a smile, I believe this is family run. My go-to for bacon rolls! Go on, you know you want to too!

Had brunch from here via just eat. So good!! Will order again. My other half loved the buddys breakfast even though he's usually very fussy!!! The chicken wrap and panini with halloumi spicy sausage tomato was lovely & really tasty. So impressed by the food service & delivery time. 👍

We ordered from here via deliveroo, a Sheppards pie and curry and rice. OMG absolutely amazing!!! I'd give Buddys cafe a rating of 12 out of 10. Good quality food. Hot on arrival. Delivered in the exact time stated on order confirmation. Seriously good food. Compliments to the chef.xxx

What a great cafe! I went with my wife and our son (2 years old) and from the start the service was excellent. The menu has a large selection to choose from. If you want a cafe, look no further. Great food, great service and a great price. Thanks, our son loved his babyccino. We will be visiting again when we are next down that way.

Staff are so down to earth, helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure to see them. It’s well worth finding a parking space.

Came across this gem by accident but have used it a number of times now, food is great and so is the coffee! Never had a bad meal and the choice on offer is great, my sons both love it to! Staff are so friendly and go out of there way to accommodate any requests.

This is a great traditional cafe, I eat here regularly. They have a good menu based around the full English type breakfast, plus healthier options as well. You can have any of their set options or create your own breakfast, no matter how small or large. They also have good range of other meals like, chili, curry, shepherds pie and lots more. The food is also always good quality, well prepared and consistent. I always get a good meal there for a good price. There is a mix of people who use the cafe, from local residences, local business people, residents from local hotels. The staff are friendly and make all customers feel welcome. It is the sort of place where they know your order and your name. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.

Lovely family run local cafe with the usual range of greasy spoon menus but also a lovely range of healthy options. Buddy and the team are always so good to our kids treating them like their owner family.

Once more we couldn't fault Buddy's Cafe London Road Bromley.We breakfast here while staying at the nearby Travelodge. The staff are great. I was even offered a glass of water when the waitress noticed that I had tablets to take.There is a vast choice of cooked to order food and drinks all good value for money.

We visit Buddy's every lunchtime from work. i must be one of there fussier clients as I always change the items on the menu to suit me, they do this without fuss every day.. The menu is large and there is nearly everything you would need for breakfast and luch with large portions for even the most hungry..

I gave thus cafe a 5 star review a couple of years ago and I would say it's even better now. The prices haven't gone up at all since so the value for money is even better now. The portion sizes are very generous and the staff are always very friendly and attentive. I visit more than somebody should visit a cafe and I've never had a problem with any part of my dining experience. Can't reccomend this place highly enough.

Called here rather than pay £10+ for a hotel breakfast! Nice enough little place with very friendly staff. Food was fine and not expensive.

Great value, a stone's throw from the Travelodge hotel and good simple food. Breakfast was infinetly variable and the welcome was warm. A hearty breakfast for 4 came to £17.

Always a great breakfast and very well priced - it's quite a cheap brekkie. The staff are very attentive and they accept card payments for a 50p charge which is great because I never have cash.

I've been here loads of times when working in bromley, the choices on the menu are endless. It's a busy place just opposite brewers. Tables are full at lunch time but turnover is ok.I had helloumii and ham panini with salad yum. Check this out.

I visit Buddies every time i come to Bromley for a weekend . Not many times , but always look forward to Buddies for superb food . The breakfast are sensational , plenty of choice , and excellently prepared and very reasonable prices . Also the staff are friendly and welcoming . Great place

I have been visiting this cafe at least once a week for the last six months and I have never had a bad experience. The food is of a really good quality and is very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this cafe.

We visit Buddy's every couple of weeks and have done since it was Mazzi's. We have always had great service (they always remember us), the food is 'what you order your get' cafe food - from a greasy fry up to a lasagne - it's all honest and hearty!! The staff are great and always give out kids a lollipop before they leave, and last week they added a Kit Kat too!! It has a family feel and we love it.

if you fancy a good old traditional greasy spoon cafe then this is where you come. Big portions at a good price and you certainly won't walk out feeling hungry. No frills or spills just your good old nosh up.

Went twice over a weekend stay to Bromley Travelodge in early August and have to say it was very nice. Vast menu, great fresh coffee and lovely service. English breakfast was fresh, hot and very large portions. Good quality sausages and bacon

Just spent a weekend down in Bromley visiting family .We always stay in the Travel lodge over the road and have our breakfast there .This year we decided to give Buddies a try .What a pleasant change this made .Wide selection of breakfasts to choose from.No complaints whatsoever .Great value for money as well.Staff are very friendly and service was excellent.We will now make this our regular cafe for breakfast when we come down to Bromley .

Had pie n mash which was not at all authentic, despite poster in the window advertising Goddards pie n mash which I know and love. Pie pastry was like a brick and liquor was thick and gloopy. Sadly the meal was inedible. Mashed potato was a bit better but just didn't work altogether and for £2 cheaper I can get the real deal elsewhere and not have an uncomfortable dinning experience, where locals stare at anyone they've not seen before!Milkshake was clearly a cheap mix and not ice cream or syrup based, yet again, over priced. Waitresses seemed smiley enough and people obviously like this place, just not my cup of tea.

Had breakfast here twice whilst staying at Travelodge down the road. Very friendly staff, great service, amazing breakfast and huge menu. Very popular with locals and hotel guests so that speaks for itself. Highly recommended.

I visit this cafe at least once a week. The portions are generous and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great breakfast and lunch. It is always busy so that's a good sign.

We use Buddies Cafe for breakfast when we stay at the Travelodge every couple of months to visit relatives. We are welcomed by the friendly staff, there is a vast menu and they are prepared to meet any request. The food is freshly prepared, so is always hot. Brilliant mug of tea, just right to set youup for a busy day.

Buddys cafe. Where shall I start. Been coming here for years now. Previous mazzi cafe. Staff are still the same. Which is good. There's one thing that bugs me is the waitresses don't give you a chance to sit down. Can't say this is there fault though as the manager is always telling them to go serve etc. Straight over to take your order. Sorry!! Can we sit down and at least look at the menu. Food always cooked with perfection. Presentation is perfect! Can't say this is a bad cafe. It's great!! Downside is the service, let us sit down and take a look instead of pouncing on us. What ever you do don't ask for a fresh coffee. Absolutely disgusting!!!! So so weak and no taste and more expensive. Always go for the Nescafé. Tea is too Milky so if you want a tea ask for separate milk. Other than that cafe is good.

Buddy's cafe is an amazing cafe to go to. Been coming here since may 2014. I go in the week as I work near by. Have breakfast every morning. Full English. Nicely presented. Cooked well. I also go on the weekends too with my wife and 2 kids for breakfast. Great food again. You can walk through the kitchen. Always tidy. Chefs very friendly. I recommend this cafe as a family meal place on the weekends for certain as you see more family's there.

We visited Buddys cafe earlier today as our regular cafe, the excellent Georges in Downham was closed for a holiday.This cafe is on the site of the vastly overrated Mazzi's cafe and the new owners have certainly kept in the mazzi's spirit of low quality and overpriced offerings.Me and my son had egg, bacon, suasage, fried slice and mushrooms with toast and tea. The bill came to a whopping £15.60! This is 30% over and above for the area.The eggs were ok-ish. Bacon was fine. Sausages were the lowest quality possible and the fried slice tasted like it had been deep fried for 10 seconds and then served without even draining.Tea's were typical of a foreign owned cafe. Weak and milky; yuk!Avoid at all costs if hungry in Bromley.
