Popped in for a swift drink, very busy, everyone was enjoying themselves and an excellent pint of Young's original.

Cozy pub, friendly staff. We had the Sunday roast (lamb, pork and beef). The food was good and the drinks.

Best fish and chips in London and great service. The chicken pie was a little bland but still very good.

We had a brilliant time as a party of 10 with 4 young children. The staff was very accomodating and made us really welcome despite the unevitable chaos created. Great traditional pub and decoration and delicious food too, 5 stars

Beautiful place.. An environment that makes you feel like you're in the London area. Really very beautiful. Excellent table service, the girl was very smiling, courteous and kind. Really excellent appetizer. Hamburger sandwich not exceptional in my opinion gives value to the place. Another dish we tried instead was with mashed potatoes and a pie filled with stewed meat.. With a truly exceptional accompanying sauce.. Really excellent. We didn't have the opportunity to try the fish and chips but from what we saw I must say that perhaps it will be one of the strong dishes of the place... Absolutely worth trying. For dessert, a brownie accompanied by a very good salted caramel ice cream. The only flaw that absolutely needs to be corrected is the waiting times, we finished our meal consisting of a shared starter and another course with a dessert to finish in more than 2 hours and 20 minutes. In my opinion the waiting times are too long. A special compliment to the kindness of the waitress

A great atmospheric pub whose history dates back to 1780. Delicious food and an incredible plus in my case was the Gluten-Free fish. Fast and friendly service. Despite the very central location, next to Buckingham Palace, I noticed that there are a lot of local customers, which only adds to the atmosphere. If you're looking for a nice pub that isn't a tourist trap, I definitely recommend it!

Our first Sunday Roast experience and honestly could not be any better. Great, relaxing atmosphere and the food was just wow, we shared King Roast with my partner and I think it’s a great value. It is a big portion so keep that in mind. Will visit again for sure! Great service from Bruno, Maddie and Giovani! Thanks guys!

Very good Young's pub less than five minutes walk from St James's Park underground Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I last visited. There has been a pub on this site since the 1720s. The current building was constructed in 1898.

Amazing Pub! It was my first time on a London pub and I loved it, the staff was great and very kind, and we loved the food, I ordered a lam pie, everything was great, next time I’m in London I will come again for sure!!

The food looks good but is completely tasteless. I'm sure there wasn't even salt in my dish. The staff was very rude and treated us as if we were stupids. The beer was good.

Buckingham Arms is a fantastic classic pub. The service is excellent and fast, with excellent products and atmosphere.

Went for their Sunday dinner and was not disappointed. Almost like Mom makes.

We had a concert with the Scots Guards and the men's choir in the Royal Military Chapel. Afterwards we went to the afterglow with the men's choir at Buckingham. It was a great evening. Great atmosphere (also in front of the restaurant) and a good beer. Thanks again for the great souvenir.

Perfect place to eat local dishes, although it is in an area that is very busy with tourists, it remains a place for local people (which is a very good thing). Very good food and very friendly staff, recommended!

A typical pub close to the Wellington Barracks. Drinks are good, prices for beer are ok, others higher. We couldn't order any food, because they die not let us. Sorry guys, it's your money lost...

The rump roast, was amazing!! They made it gluten-free for my allergy, so I skipped the Yorkshire pudding. This was by far the best meal I’ve had on holiday for 16 days. The meat was so tender and juicy. The potato and carrots were cooked to perfection. I don’t know what they did with these carrots, but somebody took a lot of time and making each individual vegetable taste amazing. The kale and cabbage mixed in with the herbs and juices. It was phenomenal. Just add a bit of salt and pepper,, Walla masterpiece! The chef is incredible!! I’m here three more nights, definitely going back. The beer and wine was great too. My husband had a couple of beers. I had the Cabernet, went really well with the meal.

We went for the Sunday Roast . The place was packed, and we were told it could be a long wait for food. We decided to wait, and we were happy we did. It didn't take as long as they warned after all.

This is a really well run and friendly pub. Bookings are always dealt with thoroughly and the food and service is excellent. I have organised a number of business events at the Buckingham Arms and I shall continue to. Many thanks for a special evening yesterday.

I have been coming here to the Buckingham Arms once or twice a year since 1985. The decor is almost unchanged but that makes me feel at home. The lads that work behind the bar were exceptional. Service and banter was great and the food and beer matched the service easily. As I mentioned at the beginning I may be a bit of a creature of habit but there is one simple reason for my nearly 40 years of patronage. I bloody love it. The location, the locals and regulars. It’s what I call a little bit of alright. My Scotch Egg and Fish and Chips were top notch as was my Tiramisu. Of course I’ll be back. Maybe this year (most likely) but definitely next. My new friends from Poland and Brazil will ensure my pint will be well poured and I’ll ensure to make short work of it. Come here/ Drink here/ Eat here. You won’t regret it!

Booked a table on their website for 6 people which was a good idea as they were very busy. We were welcomed with friendly staff who were very accommodating in seating all 8 of us. We had the sunday roast which was delicious. It was the perfect sunday afternoon to rest our tired feet after a morning of site seeing. Thank you to all at the Buckingham Arms for making us and our Canadian family so welcome and we will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

This is a great place tucked in behind Victoria station. Lovely atmosphere and the bar staff was really helpful. But what really stood out was their Sunday roast, the best I can remember having. The meat was melt in your mouth delicious and the vegetables were cooked to perfection.Top quality, an absolute delight!

Took my mum here for her first Sunday Roast after watching the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and am so happy I was able to show her what a proper English roast is all about! Great atmosphere, service, and the roast was the best I’ve had. Whether you’ve never had a roast or you’ve had 1000, I would highly recommend trying this place!

I could not have asked for a better place to have dinner on my first night in London. Food and drinks were excellent and our waiter was great! Walking distance from my hotel was an added bonus.

If you are coming to London for the first time or even a retuning guest, you absolutely need to check out the Buckingham Arms pub in Westminster. Every time we’re in London, this has been our go to pub. But something has changed in the past several years; in a good way! The food was good but now is exceptional thanks to new management and a new head chef. The staff is friendly and inviting and pub is something out of it Dickens novel. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

Such a fun place to stumble upon. The workers and consumers all had incredible vibes. The food was amazing, and the drinks were fire. They had a nice arrangement of beers and I loved their aperol spritz. 10/10 recommend if you are someone visiting London for the first time or a local stopping by after work.

We had a great meal at Buckingham Arms this past weekend. It was very close walking distance from Buckingham Palace, and easily accessible by public transportation. We immediately loved the vibes and the selection of beers available. We ordered fish and chips and shepherds pie, and both were delicious. Our server , Karol, was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We were visiting from the States, but we will definitely stop back in here on our next trip to London!

Had all of the classics here at the Buckingham Arms before a walk around Westminster. The Polish gentleman working there was great and took the time to talk about their cask ales and speak about the city of London as well as dhare his passion for food with us. My wife & I are from the US. We have been trying local pubs and restaurants while in the UK. The Buckingham Arms was probably one, if not the best pubs we have been to. The atmosphere was amazing. I usually don’t do well in small spaces that have a lot of people, but this was something great. The food was good, but there service and staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a little local vibe. Our server was extremely nice and accommodating. He even took some time to talk with us, even though it was pretty busy with the soccer game going on.

Being my local pub I frequent quite a lot. A Sunday roast here is magnificent, but be sure to book a table! Pub gets very busy at the best of times and tables are reserved most nights for the local office workers which irritates me as I like to sit down for an ad hoc pint. The staff are the best in London, effective, welcoming and friendly. My go to pub if its not heaving busy.

Fantastic traditional pub near Buckingham palace. Ordered the scotch egg, bangers and mash, and fish and chips. None of it disappointed. Solid cocktail menu + traditionally pulled beers. Great way to wrap up our trip to the UK. Highly recommend.
