Typical English Pub in Soho. And by typical I don't mean for tourists. The choice is minimalist, i.e. between 4 - 5 types of purée, 4 - 5 types of sausages or minced meat and 4 - 5 types of finishing sauces. Then you can choose to take 3 sausages instead of the usual two. That's all. Both the sausages and the meat are delicious and the beer perfect and we also had a bottle of cider. Don't expect luxury. No glasses (you drink by the bottle) and no tablecloths (you eat directly on the table). However, if I return to London they will see me again here!

For the meal, typical of a London pub, it was good. On the other hand, the service and atmosphere leave something to be desired. No smiles from the employees, felt bad asking the employees something. For the atmosphere, we were upstairs, there was nothing fun up there. For my part, I recommend finding another pub to spend a nice evening.

We came here to watch the Chelsea vs. Manchester game and get some food and cocktails on a Sunday. I looked up reviews on their roast to see if we wanted to order it and were a bit discouraged from a previous review and photo, though props to management for responding and sharing the disapproval and mentioning they'd be training on a more elevated / corrected Sunday Roast. My friend ordered it and it looked 1000X better than the other photo - koodos to the team! The bartenders and servers were great and provided recommendations for cocktails, though they were out of many shots on the cocktail menu which was unfortunate. I also got the fish & chips that were good and the tropical spritz which was awesome.

The best fish n chips in London! We've been there in may, the service is super correct considering that it is a PUB and they were already armoured of people at the bar. The waiters were very kind, the place itself is very cozy and the food is absolutely insane! I recommend xx

A friend was over from the US and wanted to go to a British pub so we decided on the Blue Posts as my husband had been before and liked it. First impressions were good as it is attractive and lots of people were sitting in the outdoor seating area. We got a seat upstairs which was great but my food was awful. It was a hot day so I went for a house salad with chicken. The salad was decidedly limp and soggy and not very appetising.. Then I went to the ladies toilets, one of which had no lock on the door and finally, we spotted a mouse running around the restaurant area. This probably cant be helped in old buildings but the other two issues could.

Nice old london pub. Good service. Unfortunately, the food was not so good. They clearly had a problem with the service lift, wasn't clear if our food was stuck and so rushed another order or if it had been left in the lift for a while. But food was cold and cheese toastie was undercooked.

They don't speak another language, nor do they put any will into it haha. Dishes to snack on for two, nothing cheap.

The place is really great. The service is at a high level, and the food looks and tastes great. I will definitely come back to this place soon. Nice selection of beer and other alcohol.

I came with my beautiful girlfriend and we were not welcomed very kindly / nor very warmly… not a look, not a “hi”… the feeling of not being accepted here :/ that said, the beer is good and it’s quite pretty!

Great little English pub! Got some fish and chips, calamari, and the dressed garden salad. The dressing was great! My only complaint would be about bathroom cleanliness and that the hand dryer goes off when you sit on the toilet, so you get blasted in the face with bathroom air. Fantastic place overall though

A “go to” after work pub in central, accepts CODE app so anybody in hospitality should come here for some discounted pints! Great food around locally too, perfect spot to end the night.

We grabbed lunch at Blue Posts in between shopping in and around oxford street. The food was standard pub food, and the drinks were well priced. Good spot to stop for lunch!

The food was great and the staff was friendly!

We made reservations under the restaurants website which asked if we had any kids 0-15y. My youngest is 17 so we selected 4 adults. Upon entry we were stopped and informed (pretty rudely) no children under 18 are allowed in after 6pm. So be aware- DO NOT go to this establishment if you’re visiting with family. Last night in London what a lovely way to say goodbye.

A quirky gem in the heart of the West End

Great little pub, stopped off just for drinks and got tempted quickly by the fish and chips.. and it did not disappoint… not too pricey either considering the location. Would certainly visit again :)

Good pub for sports, big place, plenty of comfortable seating with a decent range of beers. Not overly expensive for its location.

Fish & Chips' coating was too thick, it was never attentive and at £17.5 it was a poor value for money experience.

To be fair, I came in for 2 drinks. The service was great! The bar was busy. I am sure my rating will change as soon as I go back!

Entered there by chance looking for a meat pie and found a great one! Really worth eating it! Nice beer options as well. I didn’t have it, but if you are a beer enthusiast you can try some fresh beer from the tap (without pressure)

We have visited Blue Post with a group of friends and had amazing time mostly due to the exceptional service and of extremely pleasant polish bartender. Definitely recommend to visit for a beer or more :)

Came on a Sunday for the Sunday roast. My wife and I couldn’t decide between the chicken and the beef to share so we ordered both! Both were absolutely delicious and I can’t recommend it enough here. Spotlight on the cauliflower, wow. The staff were amazing and being nestled into a very cool area makes this spot a nice place to stop in for food and drink.

A quiet start to the day at the Blue Posts in Kingly Street, close to Carnaby Street. A fine pint of Amstel, good and cold. This is a pub with a small footprint and a big heart. There is a good offering of both keg and cask beers and ales as well as all those complex offerings in the fridge or on the top shelf. A most enjoyable place for a drink and a traditional pub meal (if you are on solids).

Jon and Calvin and Anna were absolutely superb! Best service, so polite, and incredibly quick.

We went because they said they made very good fish and chips, it was 8 in the afternoon, they didn't let my 17-year-old daughter in because she was a minor, so we left. That day happened, there's nothing to talk about. Greetings

The best Sunday roast in central London. Very decent half chicken roast, the roast potatoes were crispy and moist, decent portions full of veggies, and very well located in Carnaby.

The food was good place was lovely but problem is service could be more attentive and happy.

Decent fish and chips, hamburger, and beer

One beautiful summer day I wanted to taste a blessed hop drink with two lovely boys. However, the stung gentleman behind the counter deliberately wanted to thwart our plans. He didn't give us the liquid gold even though we were able to present ID as a photo. Instead we had to resort to overpriced cola. Shame.

The fish came back to life and started attacking us

Went to The Blue Posts on Kingly Street with a couple of friends. Great ambiance and music, place is very clean, food is tasty and a beer is cold and refreshing! John and Karol provide exceptional service, ensuring our visit is nothing short of memorable. From the cozy atmosphere to the top-notch beers, Blue Posts is a must-visit in London.

The food is ok but the staff., and dog friendly atmosphere makes this place a gem in the West End! drinks are great, one particular bar man, very tall super friendly with dogs, my four legged friend loves him to bits, recommend highly!!

It is a pub located in Soho, it has a room on the first floor reserved for table dining, while the ground floor is more of a pub. The fish and chip platter is very good, the size is generous but not necessarily worth sharing for two people

So, having visited previously and enjoyed a fantastic meal we returned hoping for the same. We are sorry to say, we were so disappointed on this visit. The food was not great.. The Blue Post can be found within the Carnaby Street area, a bustling location. Upon entering the downstairs appears small, however there is a cozy seating area upstairs with another bar. The toilets are also upstairs to the left of the bar. (These were not as clean as before) The menu is quite varied and they have pub classics including; Sirloin Steak, Chicken Kiev, Pork Belly, Mac & Cheese along with Fish & Chips. We ordered a Vintage Cheddar & Bacon Burger and a Chicken Kiev meal: - The beef burger was lumpy, full of gristle, very unpleasant and one of the worst burgers I've had in a long time. The Bacon was crispy (how I like it) but unfortunately there was so little of it, barely a rasher. - The Kiev, well we expected a lovely Chicken breast oozing with garlic butter or the like with a breadcrumb coating.. however, the coated chicken was more like butterfly chicken; not at all what we expected; not juicy nor tender. The service was good, when we pointed out our concerns regarding the burger we were offered a drink which we declined. It is such a shame that this did not meet our expectations, we had decided to eat here based on our previous visit.

Chicken kviv dried up and served in pieces .No buttery sauce . A vague mass of fried breadcrumbs , very little chicken . Lack of staff upstairs to complain to . S and P on table but mayonnaise etc have to be collected downstairs by customer . Up and down steep stairs . Likewise drinks . Bar upstairs but not manned . My meal refunded but that’s not the point . Worst dining experience I have had in years in London and I am here a lot . This is supposed to be Mayfair for goodness sake . What a disappointment yet it need not be ! Lovely dining room and bar upstairs . Buzzy location . Told under staffed but that does not account for dried up food .

Great service even when the pub was busy. Staff were friendly and the pub had a good atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

A nice little place with a good selection of drinks. However it was rather cold inside, would’ve stayed for more drinks had it been warmer. Not entirely sure as to why they had windows open considering it’s winter.

Absolutely fantastic team. John and Anna are lovely. Always welcoming and good fun. Dominic is a great lad and Kelvin is lovely too. Always welcoming to regulars and friendly with newcomers.

It's hard to say when it comes to the food, but the atmosphere is ok, London - the service is a bit like they had too much in the way... but overall 3+☆☆☆ but aspirations for 4 --- the decor is cool, so a full 4

At 9 p.m. we were kicked off the terrace by an extremely aggressive man wearing earplugs. We could no longer order drinks outside and had to leave the terrace immediately. They don't know hospitality here.

The blue post on Kingley is fantastic and I have been going there for years. They have a wonderful publican Carol as well as a great barman Jonathan. I’ve never had a bad experience there, they always go out of their way to find me and my dog a seat, which is especially appreciated as it could be quite busy. The spicy halloumi is amazing and my dog loves the chicken wings.

nice traditional setting where i could take my dog, was surprised by the atmosphere not pretentious nice place for relaxed drinks. there was one member of staff who was lovely and friendly tall guy with short hair who served us and interacted with my dog!! will be back!

Fantastic pub, always make the effort to come here when I’m visiting the area. The team running the pub are always courteous and the beer is well kept.

An old fashioned gem of a pub/restaurant in Carnaby Street. If you like cosy then you'll love it here. The menu is good, catering for an array of dietary requirements and good value for money. My only negative is they didn't serve snowballs!! But aside from that a really lovely venue.

One of the most delicious fish & chips we ate and the place is beautiful, warm and classic English Pub. Suggestion: eating upstairs, the living room is divine

A nicer of the Greene King pubs, this is along the main street but is a nice pub with kind staff and decently priced drinks. Good for inside or outside drinks with friends.

A great find , just off carnaby street I think. It's easy to see why it is so popular, we were here at exactly noon when it opened and within 10 minutes it was full. Only had some small, light bites off the festive menu but all four dishes, our group had, were very tasty and good value. Nice atmosphere of an old style London pub.

Visiting london today with my partner & French bulldog, went into 2 Nicholson's pubs no problem. Entered the third the Clachan ordered drinks only to be told one of the team is allergic to dogs and we have to leave !! Rude team member !! Not a good experience at all. Walked into the blue post kingly street fantastic welcome and dog treats !! Well done Greene king !!
