Visiting from Berlin, this a a great spot for some excellent food and some beer on tap! Ask for some recommendations, but the “small plates” on the menu is amazing! The steak & Ale pie is also good!!! Must go!

Delicious and affordable. We are visiting from the states and wanted a good Sunday roast. This place had a great one. We also had the fish sandwich and the impossible burger. Everything was great.

One of the best Fish & Chips I’ve tried, the crispy skin and fresh fish, thick fries, not oily, the salad is fresh but a bit sour. Just one thing I noted for no peas but still have. Warm and great atmosphere place.

Booked a table for lunch with friends here on Saturday prior to our visit to Buckingham Palace which was a few minutes walk away. Very welcoming staff, our lunch choices were all enjoyable and good value. Great traditional pub, lovely visit and would return.

We visited this pub yesterday and were very impressed. The decor and feel of the place is lovely, and good if you have kids. It's not a typical London "boozer" and so more upmarket. Nice selection of spirits and ale with great service from a friendly barman. It helps that it's next to the Gibson Garage too!!! 🤘👍🍾🍺

Amazing food and fantastic cider! We had lunch with my family, perfect break before visiting Westminster Abbey. I highly recommend it.

We dipped into Adam and Eve to escape the rain and get a pint. We left happy, full (get the steak and ale pie) and with a new friend, Sebastian. If we lived closer this would certainly be a regular place for us. 10/10 recommend.

Pub near Buckingham Palace and very nice. For us Italians it is fascinating to see and eat in an English-style pub, so it could be the typical atmosphere that we liked so much. Reasonable prices and generous portions of dishes.

Sebastian was incredibly kind and helpful. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend stopping in for a steak and ale pie and a pint.

Visited this place with my family (8 of us), and the pub was fully booked. I spoke with the waitress, and she advised that the pub was fully booked. I kindly asked if we could take a seat at a "reserved" table and promised we would be gone before the other groups arrived. We ordered 8 fish and chips and 4 pints of beer. The bill was €180, but the experience wasn't as good as we had hoped.

Service was excellent. Food was great - the bacon cheese burger was a real highlight. And an excellent range of non- alcoholic beers

Even though they all have different names, many pubs have the same menu with the same prices as if they were a chain. We also ate at The Bayswater Arms and it was the same as the Red Lion. However, we stopped here because the place was quaint and they were showing the women's volleyball final at the Olympics on TV. I got a fish and chips, a trio of small plates and a BBQ Chicken. Remember that you order at the checkout and pay immediately. The food was good, prices overall acceptable and we had a good time.

I spent a few hours sat watching the Olympics, eating and drinking whilst listening to the music, it was very peaceful and relaxing experience, would highly recommended the food, especially the steak sandwich

I had a pint of beer and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot, It seems like a typical old pub and the people going there are exactly the people you would imagine. Overall a great and authentic experience.

It was very nice experience to have our lunch here. Fish n Chips 🍟 were super tasty and fresh food. Enjoyed. Its in close proximity to Buckingham Palace. Tired tourists should keep this option for their lunch, dinner .

Very nice pub totally, authentic, very good staff a typical English fish and chips. One plate was enough for two people. Service water quickly in an emergency you can order a second plate.

Had time before Buckingham tour and found a perfect spot to drink some gin with my preferred tonic, and beer, and eat a traditional meat pie. Enjoyed the stop.

We had our first meal of our stay in London in this pub and it was a very good surprise! We discovered this place in the morning on the way to our hotel and it was a good idea to enter! The prices are reasonable, the dishes are very generous and the service is very pleasant! In short, a great discovery!

This is a typical english restaurant. It is very beautiful to vistit and the food was fantastic and not that expensive.

Our group went during changing of the guard so it wasn't crowded, fast service and lunch specials.

Exactly what an old English pub should look like and be. There were local characters enjoying a pint. There were well-dressed workers enjoying dinner. There was a father and son laughing together. Two women conversing seriously. And then there we were - a family from across the pond. Firstly, the fish and chips were perfection. The service was adorable (60 year old Englishman). We had the beef and ale pie - very interesting, and of course (my Englishman) had a burger!

OMG! I was in London and saw this and the food was so good!! The service was great and the people were so nice. Would definitely recommend if ur out/ visiting London. (just steps from Buckingham palace. )

Excellent Customer Service and fabulous food… Eating alone can be a bit daunting, but what lovely staff, especially Keith.. made me feel at home and nothing was too much trouble… I ordered crispy chicken small plates and a cheese and bacon burger, both were absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this little gem of a place and as I travel to London for work regularly… my only regret is I didn’t find this place sooner.

Great busy pub at lunch time. You have to order yourself at the cash and they bring the meal to your table. Standing room only at lunch as it was quite busy.

Food mediocre, service good, but pub was just too loud. We arrived around 1900 , was busy and loud as expected from after work customers, however even at 2100 when most people had left, the pub was too loud and we couldn't hear each other talk.
