staff are lovely, drinks were great and didn’t take forever which is good for a bubble tea place because a lot of the time you can be waiting for up to 30 minutes and it really only took about 2 minutes. great 🫶

My friend recommended I try bubble tea, so when I saw some bubble tea places during a visit to Cardiff earlier this week, I decided to give it a go. I told the server that I’d never had it before, so she talked me through it. I ended up choosing an oreo bubble tea with popping tapioca balls. It was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for another visit as I left early the following morning, but I will definitely be back when I next visit Cardiff.

I wanted to try a new drink for my birthday so I came here with my friends. The server/maker was ever so friendly and answered all my questions. I chose the Taro and it was great. When I'm next in Cardiff I will come here again and try more flavours. They do have the best tapioca pearls!

Been here multiple times now, trying various combinations, and every single one has been amazing. The staff are friendly and great to talk to, and the drinks taste amazing. They are also decent prices for Bubble Tea

I am obsessed with bubble tea from here. I was scared to try it in case I didn’t like it but I’m hooked and every time I go to town I have to get one! I normally get the mango base with strawberry bubbles which compliment each other beautifully. If you are unsure what flavours to get though, the staff are so helpful so will be happy to help you!

Took my daughter here to try the drinks, I must admit I was curious myself. Once you overcome the weird sensation the bubble tea is nice, strawberry bubbles bursting in your mouth. One of the drinks wasn't quite right and the staff immediately changed it with a bonus large drink, very good customer service.

My little girl was desperate to try bubble tea after seeing it online. She was not disappoint. The staff were really helpful in telling us how it works and recommending the flavours. It's was yummy but strange at the same time. Once we got used to the popping bubbles it was amazing. Unfortunately we l8ve over 100 miles away but we are back in Cardiff this weekend and the first place we will visit is here.

I really love Bubblebase, the drinks taste great and they have a huge selection of flavours and bubbles to choose from. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming which is great. Whenever I'm in Cardiff, I always make sure I get a bubble tea because they are so good. They made my drink really quickly so I wasn't waiting for ages like another bubble tea place I went to in Cardiff who were very rude and took forever to make my drink. If anyone is in Cardiff, I highly recommend Bubblebase as THE place to go for bubble tea. LOVE IT!!! <3

Had a very nice bubble milk tea here, bubble was kept in a nice texture, which is tender chewing. Enjoyed my drink, highly recommend.

Nothing but good things to say about bubble base, best bobo tea I've ever had. Lovely range of choices, milk, fruit, even coffee bubble tea - which is amazingly relaxing. Very friendly staff, happy to talk and give advice if you feel overwhelmed. Going here many more times.

What an awful experience I had today with your staff! I ordered my drink I was waiting 15 minutes before I received it and everyone else who ordered after me got there order first, I was given my drink and told them thats not what I ordered the staff replied rudely that thats what I asked for and thats what I'm getting, I told them exactly what I ordered and they then told me that you don't do this drink which is strange considering I'm a regular customer and have the same every time, I asked if they could re do the drink I ordered as this isn't what I ordered or wanted, they replied back saying "thats what you ordered thats what your getting" the man who served me was extremely rude and said your not getting anything else and continued to be extremly unpleasant towards me, I continued to say well thats not what i ordered if your not gonna redo my drink can I have my money back instead please? He then continued to be extremely rude to me and told me I wouldn't get what I ordered and payed for or my money back shouting in front of other customers as well! The customer service at this establishment is absolutely disgusting so not only did I not get the drink I ordered I didnt receive any money back and left with nothing. The owner of this business seriously Needs to look at the staff members you've employed as it was the most awful customer service I've ever experienced. I will not be returning and giving any money to you again after this!! Left feeling angry, upset and out of pocket! Please address your staff issues for the sake of your business!

I love bubble tea & if a plave has it I will seek it out. I always have the classic milk tea with tapioca & this place served a great cup. Will definitely visit again when I am back in this city.

I love bubble tea and this place didn't disappoint. It's not cheap but is worth it. Takes a few mins for them to make your drink up but it's all done to order

A great selection of teas to choose from. The service was quick, and it was the cheapest bubble tea we’ve come across, so we opted for a large drink. We regret not choosing the Special: Raspberry Lemonade option! Will have to return to try it.

A large range of flavours and variety of products. The bubble tea was as good as I have had in other places. One rude member of staff but the others seemed pleasant enough.

It was my first time having bubble tea and I had no idea what to get, the till worker was more than friendly and willing to help me find my perfect drink. I was given recommendations and I finally picked. IT WAS AMAZING best thing that I have ever tried. An amazing drink and a service with a smile you can't get any better!!!!!

Found this scanning through the trip advisor app. How cool, boiling hot day and a really refreshing kiwi tea with strawberry bubbles.Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely worth a visit. Pink lemonade with lychee was kicking to. All in all two freezing cold lush drinks for 7quid. It's a busy little place with loads of options. Thanks trip advisor and thanks bubble base will be returning ✨

Mango fruit tea with passion fruit bubbles is my life! I've never been to Cardiff without a visit to this place - my sister is as crazy about it as I am!

We had previously read about Taiwanese bubble tea on the internet and so when we came across Bubblebase in Cardiff we had to give it a try. No one can tell you exactly what bubble tea is, as, like the Matrix, you must experience it for yourself.... save to say our passion fruit with mango popping bubbles was gorgeous! The staff were super friendly and extremely informative, taking time to explain the numerous options available in depth. It's obvious they love their bubble tea, and so do we! Excellent!

I discovered Bubble tea a few years ago at The Abergavenny Food festival and have been hooked ever since. I was delighted to find Bubblebase on just a random stroll through Queens Arcade. The Matcha frappe is delicious and much better than any matcha I've had at Starbucks. The Black milk tea is also great, but I'd recommend you try the coconut or the Rose Milk tea which is a limited edition. kids love the frozen yogurt too.

Love their selection of cool drinks, although have option for hot beverage. Always visit this place whenever we are in Cardiff. Kids just love it.

I absolutely adore this little place. I've been a regular visitor since the day they opened, and I am more than happy to recommend their products to everyone I know! Whenever a friend visits me in Cardiff, Bubblebase is always the first place I take them the minute they step off the train. The staff members are wonderfully friendly, and their social media presence is super lovely, too. The prices are a bit steep, but considering this is one of very few places that serve bubble tea (and delicious frozen yoghurt, too), I'm pretty happy to treat myself to some rose-milk tea every now and again!

First off, the staff here are super friendly, and if you're new to bubble tea they're more than happy to help you find something you'll like. There are so many options and the price is great for the amount you get and the freedom of choice. Definitely going to return again and again!

I loooove Bubblebase. Everytime I go to Cardiff, it is a must to drop by and order something yummy! Not expensive for the amount you get and never had a bad drink from there. (Except maybe the warm almond one?! lol) Give it a try, so good!

Not only do they serve the Tea quickly but they provide great service along with it. The staff are all friendly and I can kill time til work starts just by talking to them! As a fan of Asian Culture i wanted to try Bubble Tea when i first heard about it and then I found these Guys, Now i'm just addicted and I go there whenever Money Allows!

As a fan of Asian food and having travelled to the continent numerous times the thing I missed the most was bubble tea. I've been going to Bubblebase since it opened and they never disappoint! The milk tea is authentic and I love how the menu has grown since opening. I see a lot of Oriental students here too which can only back up how good these guys are. I really couldn't be happy without my milk tea!! They do a good range of fruit tea and froyo for those who don't fancy trying boba, but I would recommend you try it because it's amazing!!

I absolutely love this place! The cherry fruit tea with no milk and strawberry fruity bubbles is amazing!! Excited to try the other flavours too! Such a great idea and the drinks taste amazing. It's also not incredibly expensive and really hydrating.

So glad that there is now a Bubble Tea place in Cardiff! It's so conveniently situated as well.I adore the wide range of flavours and the hot and cold options, the people serving were cheerful and knowledgeable, and the company is very student friendly.

This isn't the only place to get bubble tea in the city because it the best, it's because no where else sells it. Even though it isn't the worst bubble tea i have tried they do not sell decaf. they have a wide range of different flavors that are non traditional (more a fad) which im not a fan of. the staff are always friendly and pleasant.

Well, this ain't a restaurant, but what the... my wife &amp; I have been drinking Bubble Tea, Coffee's and frozen yoghurt from here for quite a while.Very friendly staff you can take you through the many options.My favourite is Banana bubble tea with tapioca &amp; jelly.

Waited for a while to be served on a Saturday afternoon. We were going to look around the centre so took the tea with us. I didn't start mine for a while cause I was on my phone. When I tasted it it was very very sweet and sickly. My Mrs said she ordered apple and mango for me I think but I didn't like it sorry. Don't think I'll try it again.

The fruit teas are the best I've only started going there recently and Love it mango and passion fruit has got to be the best. I will continue going there. The service is great and very quick everyone who has served me has been very polite and helpful.

Not a tea lover, so didn't really know what to expect. However, extremely surprised and pleased with the friendly service and advice provided.On a few other occasions have sampled the Yoghurt Smoothies - excellent every time.They also do reasonably priced good coffee to grab when you're in a hurry!Great products, and with excellent Customer Service cheerfully provided, this is a place to visit.

Really fun and with so many choices I was glad of the advice and help of the person who served me. The 'bubbles' are chewy - I think that they are tapioca.

The staff at Bubble Base are super friendly and always engage in conversation and ask about your day. The service is fast and they're always so polite. Their products are really amazing! I've tried pretty much every thing and I've never been disappointed, I love the bubble tea, frozen yogurt and their winter hot drinks! Its not your normal cafe and the drinks can be a little bit different but it's good to experiment with new flavours or even ask the stuff to make a drink of their choice for you!! As well as Bubble Tea they also have normal hot drinks too. It's good value for money. I would recommend Bubble Base to anyone (I've already done so to pretty much everyone I know!!!)

I have had bubble tea in manchester and in London but it isn't the same at Bubblebase. The drinks I have had in Cardiff really are flavourful. Wish I still lived in Cardiff to have them.

Great idea for a twist on an everyday drink, lots of different flavours to choose from and it's all vegan! Nice range too for a small place, frozen yogurt, tea, hot chocolate, it's all lovely.

Tried one of these drinks last week whilst doing some shopping. I have to be fair that I didn't like the texture of the pobbles or their combination with the tea. I am giving an average rating because the staff were friendly, I just didn't enjoy what I tried.

The staff are wonderful and so helpful, especially many months ago when I decided to try my first Bubbletea. They gave me suggestions and I'm so glad I gave it a try! Perfect pick-me-up on any day (I usually get a fruity tea with strawberry pobbles, love the pobbles! haven't tried anything else yet but I will eventually) and the staff are really just delightful. Try it!

I've been buying bubble teas from Bubblebase for a while now, and their staff are always friendly and informative. They have an excellent variety of flavours in fruit and milk teas. Bubblebase are all round amazing!!!

I absolutely adore the fruit tea at bubblebase and always have double pobbles. I was sceptic at first but everyone should try this! I now buy multiple drinks everytime I visit. I just wish there was seating so I could stay and drink it all day!!!
