Me and my friend were working around the corner and have been for 2 weeks now. I found this place 1 week ago and we have been going everyday. The food is very flavourful. The amount of food for the price is much better by far from the usual places I go for food. I had lamb bhuna with rice and my friend had sticky BBQ chicken with rice. My friend enjoyed it very much and he is hard too please. If I am working anywhere within 15 mins of spicyshack we both agreed we will be coming here everyday

Lovely family run business. Foods always freshly prepared. No waiting around. Very good price. I go there pretty much every day for a fast lunch. My go to is the lamb bhuna, salt and chilli chicken and egg fried rice.

Was warmly welcomed when I visited and straight away was introduced to all the food that was on offer and what my options were. I ordered the bbq chicken wrap and OH MY GOD it changed my life. Since then I’ve craved the same wrap and will continue to come back regularly for it. I can’t get enough! I also need to try the noodles as every week they keep catching my eye and smell incredible! Love this place so much! My new regular spot.

From the local mom who comes with her son regular. Absolutely halal. Chopstix put alcohol into 3 of the chicken toppings. The chicken in halal not the marinade. They stick halal on their window and...? The staff are very passionate. It's perfect. Also recommend the nutella paratha roll, they have a biscoff version haven't tried it. All the toppings are running. Rice us more flavorsome than noodle.

Awesome service, authentic food.

It was my first time trying food from here and it didn't disappoint 🤩 The portion sizes were great, the food was hot and tasted amazing. The man & lady serving were really friendly and even recommended what I should try because I couldn't decide what to get as everything looked really nice. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be back to try more of the other options soon ☺️

I can't really rate the food as I was refused it. I asked for noodles separately from the toppings as the toppings I assume would be spicy and wanted to share the noodles with my daughter who doesnt eat spicy food. I was told I can't do that. How hard is it to actually put these separately. I wasn't asking for extra noodles. It would of been whatever the portion size was. Felt awkward so I just walked out.

The most precious and wonderful restaurant, I have ever seen in UK. They are very much friendly and the food was fabulous. Everyone should try their food definitely.

I could smell the Food from down the road and could not resist popping in for some dinner! Instantly greeted by a very polite chap in a very smart and up to date establishment was very impressed visually. Now the Food.....Wow!! Egg Fried Rice & Sticky BBQ Chicken with a spring roll......No word of exaggeration some of the best take away food I think Iv had too date. Overall I would give the place a 10 star review, definitely will be back thanks again.

Really lovely people working there. Very accommodating for dietary needs. Sorted out gluten free food and made very clear what was safe to have and what was not. Also super super tasty

The noodles I ordered were flavourless and basically just oil, and the chicken, which was supposed to be a highlight, was just fried batter. The chicken toppings were incredibly hard, making them nearly inedible. The overall meal was such a letdown that we had no choice but to throw it away.

Amazing halal restaurant near Cardiff’s city center! The food tasted amazing and the beef teriyaki in specific was very tasty! The price is also extremely reasonable. I would definitely like to visit again and would 100% recommend

All Good! The taste is superb , and it is HALAL, come in hungry mode, out from this place with full of food, alhamdulillah. It's also close to the center, you do not need to think twice to try , can't remember when my boy could eat that many in the UK. Syukran !

15 minutes to closing myself and 3 super hungry boys came for our first visit! We were warmly welcomed and received our food without any delays. I was extremely impressed with the flavours and we all absolutely loved our meal! Portion sizes were generous and defo hit the spot. We have found our new favourite! Highly recommend if you want authentic home cooked comfort food and fantastic service 👌🏽

I have ordered from Spicy Shack for my family and I a number of times now, and honestly the food is fresh, tasty and delicious. The customer service is amazing also, Spicy Shack has become a family favourite!!!!

I ordered a size medium box and the portion is very small. However the food is seasoned well and tasty

Halal ✅ Ordered through Ubereats. Ordered 2 medium boxes. The taste of the food was great, however, we were disappointed with how little chicken was given, quite appalling really. The portion of the noodles and rice was not an issue, please have a look at the photos. 4 tiny pieces of BBQ chicken and 4 tiny pieces of salt and pepper chicken. With the rice, only 3 pieces of chicken tikka given and 3 tiny pieces of beef? The ratio does not match at all. Comparison made with chopsticks as they have the same box choice concept, and they defo provide more main toppings. Also, 4 wings for £5+ seems very dear.

Great food and the chai tea is fantastic! Great for a quick quality indian snack after a stadium game and only 5 mins from stadium wet into grange. Cant criticise everything (speed and quality)

Very Friendly family run buisness. I always have a great chat with the owner always spend usually about 30mins talking lol. Their Samosa Chaat is the best, very well priced and tatsty.

Very nice owners who are welcoming and make conversation. For the price, the serving sizes are reasonable, but most of all, the food is delicious. I recommend getting the Chicken Jalfrezi and BBQ Chicken as toppings as I devoured them in seconds. All round a great experience, will be back soon Insha Allah.

This is one fantastic takeaway. Simply chose your base (chips, noodles, egg-fried or basmati rice) and then your sauce (curries, yakatori) and a side. The box you get it cramped with the most incredible flavours - the curries and sauces are made by the owner's wife - it's an incredible taste sensation. Can't recommend it enough!!

Was greeted immediately as I walked into the shop - the gentleman who served me was attentive and friendly. Ordered a large box and a small box to try, with chicken tikka, lamb bhuna and chickpeas (?). Really tasty! Good value also - would recommend.
