Totally overated food & small portions, service was rude & prices ridiculous! Below average takeaway chippy would be better than this ! Can’t believe people rate this highly 🤣 never again

Worst teppan yaki dinner in my life. Having been to over 15 teppan yaki restaurants worldwide (including Japan), I must say that this is the worst experience by a mile. The overall quality of the food is below average, frozen fish fillets drenched in salty soy sauce. Low quality steak cuts grilled in butter alone. Even the duck fillet was below par. Even worse was the fried rice. Something that is near impossible to mess up on a teppan yaki plate: The rice hand only one flavor: Butter. The chef clearly added way too much. But the absolute cherry on the pie? The whole meal started with the chef throwing 2 kilo's of sliced potatoes on the teppen yaki plate. Potatoes? There is only one reason to serve that: To fill your guests up with the cheapest possible ingredient. There is nothing Japanese about sliced potatoes. They were also undercooked to add to the overall failure. The owner of the restaurant defended that fast with "other restaurants do it as well".

Excellent food, guy in the kitchen is very friendly, keeps good conversation and banter.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Would defo recommend going there 👌

Go to place for eating when in Chester. Everything about it was and is a pleasant experience all round.
