Brunches in York

I came across this lovely place on just eat.. looking for a decent brekkie. I love it.. I get my breakfast delivered with a latte.. Top notch..

I didn’t receive either of the drinks i ordered after waiting for an hour when the sandwich came it was soaked in ketchup all over the bread on the top looked like Dracula had spat one of chefs all over it bacon was burnt and sausages tasted underwhelming would never order again

Very sad. It is 9.20am and the website says this little takeaway is open from 8am - IT IS NOT. We took a leisurely stroll down to the shop, mouths watering only to be sorely disappointed. Please change the times on the website.

Amazing service ! Great value for money and wonderful communication as we use brunches for our massive choir tour to York for the three days we’re there’ this is the second year we have used brunches and I can not recommend them highly enough! They go over and beyond to ensure that all the students got their choices, clearly labeled and delivered promptly at the times agreed on. I will 100% use this fantastic business again. Thank you to all the team at brunches for making the packed lunches a great success! You are amazing! 🤩

Bread was very soggy and the hash browns were soggy aswell,, even though they were in a separate container The contents of the sandwich was lovely though

Ordered a few times always been really nice. Today was a shame as it arrived really cold, so could not enjoy it at all.

ordered a hot sausage sandwich and it was cold. asked for cheese on it which wasn't melted one bit so clearly had little to no heat on the sausages when it was made. it's gross

Food is really good and fast enough delivery time. Forgot my drink which is a little annoying but not the end of the world!

I have been at home not well and wanted a lunch take out to pick me up. Ordered one, Just eat delivered and I have just finished it. This I must say is the best sandwich I have had in a long time and am craving more. I had the full english hot sandwich and adored it. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks for the wonderful lunch.

Online ordering a bit of a mess around.

Bacon was too hard and the egg is chewy and bitty.

Wow wow wow ordered the breakfast as soon as I woke up ordered two big breakfast trays only wanted one lol and a sos and bacon bap managed to eat so full now flapjack so yummy we have eaten it all thank you so much brunches so so yummy as always your the best xx

Really poor today. Bacon was like leather. Not good for nearly £5 for a sandwich

The breakfast tray was very disappointing the hash browns were barely cooked and mushy the eggs looked like they'd been thrown in the pan and there was more mushrooms than anything else in the tray.

I don't no what's happened today but I'm extremely unhappy with the service I order from you all the time love your sandwiches, the driver left it on next doors doorstep I stopped him before he drove off , he said its got there address on NO NO NO SIR , Its my address on it , and they one slice bacon in bacon sandwich tiny portions than usual in others so dissatisfied for price

Hash browns undercooked and been honest sausages very bland indeed. Disappointed truth be told. :-(

First and last time ordering was shocking only good thing was the bread bun and lovely delivery guy. the English breakfast was disgusting what a waste of 12 bloody quid overcooked and under cooked soggy mess 🙄 don't usually post reviews but don't think I ever been so disappointed I took pictures but cart upload them for some reason 😔

Wasn’t sure if I’d ordered from here before but then realised I had because of the hard bacon, feels like you are trying to eat leather…. removed it from the sandwiches. Sausages and soft bread = good. Drinks cold which is good. Just a shame about the bacon!

What can I say. Prawn salad sandwich was nice but was looking forward to my 2 pork pies and sausage rolls. It seems you no longer make them yourself. Shop bought in. The pork pies were dry and no jelly in. And sausage roll dry too. Could tell as soon as looked at them wasn't homemade. Not good when paying £2.40 each for pork pie and £2 for a sausage roll you expect it to be quality for that price. Won't order them items again. Hope you rectify this and stop cutting corners

The cold sandwiches from here are outstanding, however this morning I opted for a hot sandwich, bacon, sausage and egg, the sandwich didn't feel overly warm, and the sausage and bacon was dry and overdone, there was also egg shell in the egg. Sorry guys whilst the cold sandwiches are fantastic, and I ordered some for lunch, I am underwhelmed by the hot sandwich I had this morning.

The chicken was extremely chewy and grainy and the bacon was full of fat in the panini. The panini and hot sandwich was cold when I got it

Left a request for no cucumber on lemon pepper chicken sandwich but it had 4 massive slices completely ruining it. Club sandwich did not state it had bacon which also ruined it for my partner who hates the taste.

Gutted, read the reviews and got a full English. The mushrooms hadn't been drain properly so the hash browns were soggy and falling apart, the eggs were way over done and the container it was in was not kept flat so the beans and tomatoes had leak everywhere. One bad experience doesn't make it a bad place but I won't be ordering from here again.

The sandwiches were excellent, thanks, I have used this place a lot in the past pre just-eat, and it's always been great, one issue would be that they didn't read the comments box to not put salad on two of the sandwiches. I know they are a very busy shop so maybe this got overlooked. I would certainly place an order here again.
