What an amazing Café this is! I discovered it while on holiday in Devon and visiting Exmouth and wish I'd found it sooner! It is a bakery selling very yummy sweet treats to takeaway as well as a really lovely cafe serving good value really good light bites such as jacket potatoes, paninis, sandwiches and baguettes plus other choices all at excellent prices. The café atmosphere is so relaxed with comfy chairs and sofa, customers are welcome to enjoy time playing cards and games and chat together with other customers. I went in alone and didn't feel at all uncomfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food I had was well cooked and tasty. I highly recommend the Coffee Lounge and would definitely return.

Good atmosphere, seldom is quiet. Got a begat which I took home and put in airfrier for two minutes, I left it too long and go rather crisby. Timing is the difference, a few seconds extra made it crunchy instead of delicious. The spicy mexican was very tasty.

Food had been sat in containers for quite a while before we received it. Cold and unpleasant. Would've probably been very nice had it been delivered anywhere close to hot.

A lovely place with great options! The prices are reasonable and the quality and taste are great! I few got pastries, I loved all of them and will certainly be back to try more varieties.

Best breakfast in whole Exmouth. Always felt welcomed- Everyone is friendly and and the food quality is amazing. Food and drinks are affordable and not overpriced. Dog friendly too. Good job to all the team and keep it up.

I visit regularly and it's a lovely place to come to. The food is tasty and service and staff are fab. My daughter enjoys the play area too

The food prices were vile, especially considering the low quantities and they harassed us for using the "free children's play area".

Lovely family run establishment offering a varied choice of food & drink at reasonable prices. Seating areas available both upstairs with the added bonus of a childs play area allowing the adults to enjoy a relaxing coffee/meal and downstairs within the sister business 'Sugar Bug' which meets all little ones needs with a range of treats on offer! Friendly staff, would highly recommend 👌

All round great service The staff are amazing and really friendly. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. There is a great play area for the kids which is free to use for paying guests. Definitely worth a visit.

Such a lovely cafe, take away, bakery and shop. Great atmosphere, feels like you are part of the community people chatting to each other. Come in as strangers and leave as friends.

service was poor staff were more interested in socialising with each other than serving and my server was rude and ubrupt to me i had a toasted cheese and tomatoe sandwich which at 5.95 was way overpriced to me and they put some type of dorito style corn chips on the side instead of the normal potatoe chips that i have experienced in all other similar uk cafes which to me was very cheap tacky and insulting i wont be returning and will rather go to similar local venues that serve full english breakfasts for the same price

Would NOT recommend! I used to be a regular customer. However, the customer service has really fallen apart. Never felt so discriminated and violated against by the staff members there. They have lost me as a customer and the word has now gone around. No apologies made on their behalf which is completely unacceptable. Way overcharged prices on food/drink.

Visited late morning, fast efficient service.

The food was extremely dry. Not enough butter and sauce on the bap. And I can’t explain it but it had a gas taste to it. Such a shame. Not sure if it was a bad day.

Lovely little gem! My toddler was happily entertained with the ample play area, food was tasty and reasonably priced, service was friendly, helpful and fast. Will definitely come back.

This is a really good place to eat if you have a dog, I recommend the bacon sandwiches. The cappuccinos are very nice! Friendly staff. A relaxing atmosphere where your dog can sit and eat with you too. 👌

Food was barely warm and had clearly sat for a while and sweated as it was all very soggy. It was also 30 minutes late. The staff were polite though when I had to call to chase it.

Had large breakfast with americano and a breakfast wrap with cup of tea Service was swift and friendly. Food was nice, large breakfast was good value. The breakfast wrap was a little over priced when compared to eggs Benedict.

The food certainly exceeded our expectations. It was tasty and arrived quickly. Presentation could be improved but overall a good lunch/brunch. Take a seat in the cafe area upstairs rather than the take away as you come in.

We visited here after being refused by the café next door as they didn't allow dogs inside. This café is dog-friendly which is handy for us (we have 2). It was very quiet when we went in (it was after lunch) so the atmosphere was pretty dead. The stairs leading up to the main café are quite steep, but they've provided handrails either side of the stair well so that's good. The menu was extensive and the food was generous and good value but bear in mind that the fillings for baguettes/sandwiches are pre-mixed so no chance of customisation. The toilet seemed clean and also had a baby changing facility. Lots of seating and I noticed they had a separate adult-only lounge seating area by the windows which is a nice touch. Downstairs is a takeaway food for pasties etc. Overall, we'd come here again when visiting Exmouth.

Jacket wasn't great, but the chicken was 10/10.

Really poor!! £30 for breakfast for two… stale bread rolls, under cooked chips with hardly any cheese, a pitiful portion of Hulumi fries… you should be ashamed to send that out at over £5!!!! Worth 50p!! What a waste of money.

Once again munch lunch and brunch never fails!! It has to be the best breakfast in exmouth! Always comes piping hot with the happiest and smiliest workers! Even when going to the in to BL&M the workers/ owners are always so chatty and you can have a laugh with them. Also the pasties are extremely tasty.. especially the lamb and mint and chilli con carne (if you can get there quick enough as they sell fast) I’ll always return as a loyal customer. Thank you again guys! Amazing food and fab team!! X

What can I say apart from amazing food at good prices. The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome, always cheerful. If you go there you have to try a full monty breakfast, my mouth is watering just thinking about it, oh and the hot and cold baguettes, loads of options with them as well. I can certainly say that for a small establishment it has a very good variety of food. If it helps there is a car park just across the road.

I will start by saying the potato was hard as a cricket ball and not possible to eat and arrived 20 mins late!!! How you think it's OK to send terrible food out to customers like this I have no idea but I will never be ordering from you again!

I normally adore brunch, lunch and munch today however I was disappointed. My cheesy chips had barely any cheese and no garlic Mayo in sight. My burger was cold and on top of this it arrived 30 mins late when I had to be back at work. I truly hope today was just a glitch.

Overall, the food was absolutely insane! So fresh and tasty. Delivery was quick and friendly too! The only downside was the milkshake I had; for £3.95 I expected a lot more to be honest! It was really warm in temperature and tasteless - I got the mint choc chip one and it literally just tasted like ordinary warm milk… I ended up throwing it away, £4 wasted! Would highly recommend the food, but not the milkshakes

Was a little disappointed in how salty the bacon was ...eggs overdone and then the delivery lady said she was aloud to enter to block of flats and had to go from top floor to bottom which wasn't a problem for me but maybe they should state on the delivery options incase I or someone was disabled
