Brunch & Brew in Ashford

Experience seemed ok at the time, good service and menu. Within an hour my child was violently ill from the food. Will not be returning.

Fab food and excellent service. We have done breakfast and brunch. It was all excellent and well presented, too. Lilly and Nicola were delightful in tending our table.

A huge congratulations to Brunch and Brew. They have moved into a larger venue which used to be Prezzo. We had an excellent brunch on a very busy Friday. Staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere and decoration is lovely and the food is just the best. Spot on! Brilliant menu, tasty drinks. As leaving queues out the door, always a great sign. Don't take our word for it, go and give them a try! You will not be disappointed, I'm already looking forward to my next time!

We visited Brunch and Brew a few weeks ago with a friend over from Australia. We had a lovely breakfast, very friendly attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. We returned today to find Brunch and Brew had moved to a new premises further along the street. We were shown to a table in the large back room, fairly busy and very loud, low ceiling. Breakfasts were good but the sausage sandwich with sourdough bread was difficult to eat as the crust was so hard, there was no option of white or brown/granary bread. Tea was served in a mug with a teabag in, previous visit we had a teapot each!! Service was not great, no cutlery for the breakfasts. It was so obviously so different from our previous visit, new management was just not as good as the previous owners and it just didn’t feel good. Won’t be rushing back!!

Ordered a breakfast. Over 30 mins later and nothing arrived. Cancelled order as I had places to be. Whilst I can wait for an order at dinner, it just isn’t an option in the morning. Hungry and disappointed.

So have been coming here for a number of years. On the wall it states “if you have any questions, allergies or food intolerances, please let us know before ordering” So I requested a ham and mushroom omelette due to an intolerance to cheese. I was informed they don’t change the options (by the owner). Options are: Four Cheese, Cheese and Ham, Cheese and Bacon, Cheese and Onion, Cheese and Mushroom or Spanish Omelette. The restaurant was not extremely busy and as the food is meant to be freshly made I is as surprised they couldn’t cater. Even though we are often in Tenterden I doubt we will be back as there are plenty of other places to eat. Disappointed.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had the veggie breakfast and my partner had the classic full English. Great value at under £10 each. The staff were happy for me to swap a fried egg for scrambled. Delicious. Will definitely be back!

Excellent coffee and food - better than expected - loaded breakfast bun was the best thing! Very friendly staff too, which was an extra bonus.

We were in desperate need of coffee on holiday, found a High Street and Brunch and Brew, with its inviting menu board that said dogs welcome. We were lucky to get a seat, as many people came in after us. Lovely waitress who took our order and patiently waited whilst we chose. They have colouring pencils and paper to keep us entertained. Then the most delicious bacon roll arrived, some sour dough toast, a cheeky chocolate torte and a little chocolate milkshake for our daughter too! The coffee was so lovely we ordered another round. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

A very tasty, well cooked breakfast, but please can you warm the plates before serving. The plates were stone cold and the food not far behind. It would make such a difference…

We initially just had take away coffee in the morning (very nice!) But after a stroll around the high street went back for lunch. Food was delicious and fresh, great service and all very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

I wanted to take my husband out for lunch for his birthday to somewhere that did lovely food but not at break the bank prices and Brunch and Brew did not disappoint. I read reviews to other places nearby but this had the best reviews and I can see why. They were very busy and had to wait for a table it was worth the wait. The welcome was warm and friendly the price were great and the food fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Service, Location and Food! I sat outside with my toddler, we enjoyed brunch whilst watching the world go by. Great menu variety and very well equipt for children - activity colouring in, kiddy cultery, etc. A great dining experience! Will 100% be back.

Our first visit and we were very impressed. A friendly greeting and good choices on the varied menu. The food was excellent, together with the service. We will return again very soon.

Best brunch place in Tenterden!! Has everything on the menu you could possibly want. Staff are so friendly & food is delicious. My go to for a lunch out! The Cuban toastie is delicious and the breakfasts are to die for. Nikki, Claire, Molly and Rachel are all such friendly waitresses and all the chefs cook the food to perfection. Alex is a great owner and always makes us feel welcome! Would definitely recommend.

We go 2 - 3 times a month now for breakfast and brunch and every time we have been made to feel very welcome by staff, and the food is perfect! Couldn’t fault it at all. Well done all!

I love this place. In these last 5 months of living in Tenterden I've made Brunch & Brew my go-too.. the service is wonderful, the food excellent & as for Alex & Nick they have always been so engaging, friendly & a delight to see & chat to every time I've been there (which has been pretty frequently!). I thoroughly recommend you visit them, & I will miss them very much when I head back overseas. Big Thanku to Alex, Nick & all your staff :-)

Fantastic food, service, and location. Claire and Alex are wonderful hosts, and the chef is excellent. The quality of food and service, and the range of options on the menu make it feel like a bistro/restaurant rather than a café. Well done! Highly recommended!

I had the Chicken Gyros and my Husband had the Cuban Sour Dough Toastie. The meals were sublime the care taken in the creation of both dishes was just exceptional. We had both never had food like this, and it was just incredible.. the flavours mixed with presentation was bespoke. The service was 5 star.. the cleanliness inside and outside was on point. The waiting staff were tentative and made such a fuss of our dog and even gave him some biscuits that he enjoyed. The chef, a woman with short hair who we didn't catch her name, came out where we throughly enjoyed giving our opinion. All in all, over all what an absolute gem on the High Street. Will 100% be back.

Visited at the weekend. It’s a traditional cafe and tea shop but they had some Mexican specials so we went in. Incredibly friendly service, very reasonable prices and good food. We will definitely visit again.
