I still can't believe that they have closed. Spent many years meeting family and friends here and always looked forward to a lemon cream bun. It will be missed for a long time.

Please do not claim dishwasher damage to drinking glasses, its obvious dishwasher damage can't be picked off the glass with a finger nail. The glass was contaminated with debris from previous use. Was offered another glass in the same condition. Jacket potato should not have been served. Closing Saturday 4th May 2019. Problem solved. Suggest management consider a career change. (Is it possible you have contributed to the closure of this once thriving business)

Brucciani holds dear childhood memories of visiting with my mum and nan and being treated to a milkshake. Visited today before the business closes in a couple of weeks. There was quite a limited choice of sandwiches and cakes, but the granary roll I chose was very fresh. Milkshake was good but knickerbocker glory rather disappointing made with tinned fruit. It seems that Brucciani has still been living in its previous heyday of the 70s.

Just popped in for tea/coffee & cakes to bid farewell to an iconic local landmark. Lovely staff & great cakes & beverages. Sad to see it go.

Called in here on way to bus station after hospital visit. Hadn't been to Brucianni's since the 1980's and was really happy to come across this branch. I just bought a take away sandwich as was in a hurry but planned to return for a trip down memory lane. Can't believe how rude the person who served me was. No please, no thank you. Just announced what I was buying, took my money and then turned away. Won't bother with the return trip.

Visited here with my mum the staff have no customers service skills and bad attitudes. I requested cream on my hot chocolate and the lady was very rude to me and said it would be another 40p I went to pay on card to be told we don’t accept card. I said the lady never asked if i wanted it and she said if I didn’t ask they wouldn’t how rude. The staff mainly look unkempt and they act as though they are something special. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would as I feel 1 star is far too generous. Also don’t try and use your pensioners discount card here as they really don’t like you using them and might make up some excuse as to why they can’t accept it like the time on the till saying it’s 12 o clock when in actual fact it’s only 11.45. Staff have no manners and nor does the management of this branch he’s equally arrogant and lacks customer service skills. Won’t ever be visiting this branch of bruccianis again!

These guys do great food, reasonably priced, they do cakes, pasties, pastries, the amazing “lemon split”, hot/cold drinks, cream soda’s, icecreams, hot chocolates to name a few. Two branches (that I know of in leicester) and they are both well maintained, clean floors, tables are cleared regularly, friendly staff, it is usually pretty busy inside which is good, worth the wait if you have to queue (which isn’t often or for long) Would recommend this cafe, I love it!

Marvellous place for coffee and the traditional iced buns they have been serving since my mum was a child, atmosphere wonderful, the best Fox st behind marks and Spencer’s a must visit to Leicester

I don't often buy sandwiches when out as prefer to prepare at home(I'm a scrooge!!) but was in Leicester when hunger struck! I was just passing Brucciani and on a whim bought a Ham & Cheese Sandwich. Brilliant for such a simple combo. I have never tasted fresher bread other than from my own kitchen. The Ham was really succulent with a full flavour accompanied by a nice chunk of mature Red Leicester. They didn't skimp on quantity or quality and was worth every penny. Would definitely return and recommend.

Yes both the shops are dated and quite basic, but that’s the charm of Brucci’s. I visit regularly with different friends, the smokers love it for the outside seating, everyone says hello and chats... the staff are so nice and friendly. Other friends love it for the booths inside and milkshakes. The doorstep sandwiches are great, and the lemon splits are notorious.

Stepping inside took me back to a time when I would go for Saturday cake with my grandparents, although I’ve never been here before this place took me back to my childhood, looking around there were couples who I imagine visit here weekly for the same coffee and cake, It’s dated decor and booth seating was a real nostalgia trip but it was clean and comfy and made you feel welcome, the staff were friendly .The food and coffee was great too

Nice visit. We each had a topped jacket potato which was good. Service was friendly and relatively fast.

Although the interior looks generic and staid, don't be put off. Service was delightful and the food on offer of an excellent standard. Avoid the chain stores and use this local business.

Good value for money, quick service, Nice selection of sandwiches, pizza and cakes. Sat in the back which was okay.

The decor is dated but there’s nothing wrong with the sandwiches and cakes. It’s part of Leicester’s history. It’s important to support local businesses.

Lovely coffee and cakes and pastries that are hard to resist, all at reasonable prices. Pity the seating is deliberately basic.

Recently visited Leicester after some years away and couldn’t resist taking the kids to Brucciani’s. The Lemon Splits were just as delicious as I remember and the kids adored the ice cream sodas - beautiful ice cream.

Was in Leicester for a meeting and saw the large sign saying Coffee Shop and as I prefer to go to non coffee chain stores I decided to give it a go. The staff very friendly and helpful, I opted for a snatch pizza and a latte. I found a table and they brought the pizza over. However the pizza was not a pizza but bread with the pizza topping, I opted for the pepperoni however I could not taste it, a bit of a disappointment, the latte was average could have done with another shot of espresso. However it was good value and the food and coffee was hot.

Like this place, staff are pleasant. You get same menu every day. Their soup which may vary, otherwise their coffees are good too!

He estado viniendo a Brucciani's durante muchos años como un regalo para mi Godchildren y estaba deseando que nuestro almuerzo ligero. Por desgracia, será la última. Habíamos estado un par de días antes y no estaba como de costumbre, pero esta vez servida por alguien que era muy poco acogedora. Leicester es una ciudad incluido nunca he tenido problemas usando Notas escocés, yo no tuve problemas de unos días antes, pero esta persona rechazó mi dinero, diciendo que "todos son forjadas" cuando le dije que no era el caso, ella importaba sobre "típico jocks".

Wonderful visit after so many years. Traditional Milkshakes and Ice cream floats. For me it was the cakes and Malted milk...just like coming home!

Después de vivir lejos de Leicester durante 7 años volví para una visita y no podía dejar sin visitar Brucciani. Todavía tiene que sentir encantador y acogedor y amable, y el café es insuperable, y en esta particular visita tuve una patata chaqueta y chili que era simplemente deliciosos.

Realmente me decepcionó que el café que visitamos en el pasado no ha mantenido con la legislación. Muy empinadas escaleras y por un 87 años que está en una silla de ruedas no es divertido. Ella caminamos como fue un lugar favorito de ella visitó su fuimos hermanas y hermanos. Por desgracia los inodoros también están arriba para añadir insulto a la injuria. La parte positiva es que ella disfrutó su té y huevos y la esposa berros contaminados mazorcas y disfrutó su división de limón. Que eran demasiado para mi svelte figura. En general visita té normal, a pesar de que ya está bien de colocar la leche y me tienen siempre negro y ya nadie siquiera pide. Obviamente han vía láctea clientela de té.

Buena selección de sandwiches y pasteles. El pan es fantástica y el servicio suele ser muy bueno. Bebidas caras. La otra rama a pocos minutos a pie de la puerta de la iglesia es mucho mejor y puedes comprar el pan que incluye panecillos, baguettes, ciabatta y soft rolls todos realmente fresco y sabroso.

Es un tiempo que visité aquí, pero sigue siendo un buen lugar para un bocadillo rápido. El personal era servicial, el té y pasteles que compré eran muy buenos. Por desgracia, los baños están subiendo un tramo de escaleras empinadas que no es fácil si eres anciano o enfermo. La decoración parecía un poco triste - decorar mejoraría el ambiente enormemente. Un buen lugar para un aperitivo rápido. m.

Fuimos con mi madre el año pasado. Pedimos 2 patatas de la chaqueta. Las patatas y la chaqueta era quemar el queso estaba seco que consumimos un par de bocados. Las mesas eran asquerosas que no fueron limpiadas, además de los cubiertos no fue lavado correctamente. Pedimos un reembolso, pero me rechazaron. El lugar está anticuado y es caro. Nunca volveré de nuevo.

He estado disfrutan un café y un bollo helado durante años en Brucciani's.

Aunque gran parte de su comida y helados puede ser bueno, la calidad de su café deja mucho que desear. El énfasis parece ser de servir caliente, frothy milk with coffee leche para personas mayores que no les importa que hay muy poco real café. 2,10 libras para dicha café significa que los clientes están timando. Además, aunque algunos de su personal son amables y agradables, otros son secos e irrespetuosos, especialmente para la gente mayor que creen son sin comprensión de lo que está sucediendo y acepta nada sin ninguna queja.

Cada vez que vengo a Inglaterra me llevaría a mis Godchildren por un helado soda y tarta a la Fox Lane Cafe. Esta fue la primera vez que el almuerzo. Buena comida caliente sencilla a precios muy baratos ... bien barato comparado con Aberdeen. El buttie de tocino de bairn debe de haber sido bien cerradas él por todo el tiempo que comimos y mi tattie horneado con frijoles fue justo. Estoy ansioso por volver más tarde en el año.
