Browns Bar & Brasserie in Kingston upon Thames

1t time at Kingston Browns. Food was really good and accompanied by a great service. The waitress (Gosia) was super chatty, helped us with menu choices - generally very attentive. Will definitely come back.

We met for a family Celebration Birthday lunch and were delighted with our whole experience at Browns Kingston . Christine served us and was so helpful and friendly which really added to our special occasion . The food was delicious, hot, and any requests to suit particular tastes were met. Service was prompt .The view from our table was beautiful adding to the atmosphere. Thank you to Christine and all in kitchen .We look forward to a return visit.

I recently had lunch at Browns Kingston, and it was an outstanding experience. The welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter, Carlos, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. The food tasted amazing. Overall, our lunch at Browns Kingston was delightful. The fantastic food and excellent service from Carlos made it a memorable visit. I look forward to returning soon!

I was pleased with the service received! The food was great, but more importantly, I felt welcomed and looked after by the waiters, who helped me decide my order. A special thanks to Esmaily for being patient and caring, which I very much appreciated. Definitely will be coming back again!

I stopped here during a walk to enjoy the sunny weather by the river. I had a glass of white wine and a bowl of olives and spent a very happy 30 mins admiring the views! Slightly slow service as i had to order my wine twice but still a great visit!

Took my wife out for a suprise dinner out. Place was lovely and we were greeted by Costas who, with his colleagues made sure our dining experience was A+!!!! We had ribeye steak and chips with margaritas, I know, it doesn’t match but it’s how we like it! And we LOVED it!!! Definitely coming back for more. Just wasn’t able to get photos as I got preoccupied with the lovely view of the river and mouthwatering food we were having.

Went for avocado on sourdough with roasted tomatoes. There was a thin scraping of avocado on the bread. Not what you'd expect of the main ingredient in a dish, paying £9.50 when other cafes / restaurants give you a generous dollop! The roasted tomotoes were just slightly warmed tomatoes. I don't think they had seen the oven. Shame as it was nice sitting outside near the river. I didn't complain but I won't go again.

Me and my family and friends always go to the branch in Windsor . Where the service and food is amazing . However Browns in Kingston was the complete opposite . The service was terrible . Where do I start . No one came to see if we needed anything (which we did), the kids food order was incorrect so as they needed to change it we were all eating and a child was sitting watching us eat until his food came , we told the waiter we were not happy and as good loyal customer we had the same expectations as the Windsor branch . They just brushed it off . The food was presented with no care and looked like a mess on a plate . I would give minus 1 if I could . Adding service to the bill was an insult . I would not recommend and I would not allow others to come if they were to ask me for a recommendation. When I told them again how unhappy we were they laughed and said they don’t care and started to argue . Disgusting humans Christine was one of the managers there . The male manager with a moustache and light coloured eyes was the one we informed about the poor service and didn’t care . Poor service , poor food and poor management attitude .

Great spot...really lovely views of the river! Food is good enough. I had a delicious mocha and some good wine. I was served by Ben who was very helpful.

Had a lovely 1st Birthday celebration at Browns, today. Lovely food, well presented, and good portion size too. The service, (having also to deal with tots of various sizes and ages), was great! Our tables were served by Artemis, with grace, courtesy and patience, and made the whole get-together work smoothly and happily. Many thanks.

We eat here a few times a year and have had very mixed experiences. Today was the first warm day of the year and the town and restaurant were busy. The food is as you would expect, a phenomenal pineapple and rum dessert deserves a special mention. The cocktails are always a little sparkle extra, changing with the seasons and with lovely flavours. What made today especially memorable though was our waiter, Carlos. He fixed a couple of hiccups (not of his making) with a smile and generosity. He was exactly the right balance of friendly and attentive without being too much. His colleagues supported him brilliantly as well. Carlos is a huge asset to this restaurant.

I’ve recently bought a pair of skechers (a bit before my time but I hasten to add, but I have a lower back issue). However today I’ve had the pleasure of having lunch here (Browns Kingston) and what a pleasant surprise to find how lovely the staff and food were compared to so many places. Mrs Browns boys would be very proud of you!

We dined here with work on the 31st Jan, so there were a large number of us. The service was excellent, I’m so sorry i didn’t get any names, but every single staff member, from bar staff to waiting staff were excellent. So helpful, hardworking and welcoming. We obviously ordered a number of drinks and the orders were always spot on and very little waiting time. Food was very good and tasty and compared to other places we have been, the wait time was minimal. I dont live locally but if i am ever back in the area, i would definitely return and would highly recommend Browns to anyone visiting. Well done all!

Wow. Went for a traditional English breakfast and it did not disappoint! Their coffee is also brilliant. Service was absolutely top notch especially our waitress Anna. Definitely would recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

Me and my fiance booked the table a month before as we knew our anniversary is coming and we will not be able to celebrate on Valentines day. While taking a booking a member of staff let us to choose a table. We choose table next to the window with the nice venue outside. When we arrived to the restaurant some other member of staff said that our booked table is for 4 People and we can not sit there. Instead of this they offered a table next to the bar... I tried to explain that this is our celebration but seemed like they did not care at all. We left as I No longer wanted to be there even. I will not come to the place where there is such a poor customer service. I would not recommend as after all, we had to look for other place to celebrate our special day.

I went with friends to Browns last week for lunch and we had a lovely experience, the food was amazing and the staff very profesional, specially Silvia who was all the time coming and checking if we needed anything.

I did not get a reserved table, which I booked a month back I do not recommend. Poor behavior of the employee Sylwia. Your translations are ridiculous. The employee who took the reservations allowed you to choose a table and on the spot after previously stitching the reservation more than a month in advance! It turns out that someone else got our table. Considering that it was an important day for us, we were treated this way. I do not recommend this place and this service. The staff did absolutely nothing. The lady with a smile on her face said that we would not get the table we booked.

Really good food and excellent service from our waitress Kezia. Would particularly recommended the Pulled Lamb Shepherd's Pie

Lovely spot in a chain fast heading downhill! Dirty tables, filthy grey net curtains ? Circa 1970? Re warmed pancakes ( but not actually warm!?) and flabby mushy tasteless lemon sole. (£28!) Redeemed by pleasant staff. Oh dear.
