Arrived 10.30 am and was already busy. Was served promptly and with a lovely smile. Had the best sausage sandwich ever with a lovely strong cappuccino. Very well priced. Will definitely be back again.

Wonderful location, however I paid for 3 cream teas a while ago for Mother’s Day. After an illness this was my mothers first time out, we gave our voucher in and didn’t wait long as we were the only ones there, first plate for my father was lovely, large scone with pot of jam and cream. One other plate came out with two scones and one pot of jam and cream. I said I paid for three and was bought another empty plate which I put the other scone on but no pot of jam and cream. The girl explained that there was extra in the other pot . Yes there was , but presentation is everything. I didn’t expect to have to share this with my mother. Nor did she. Why make an effort with one plate and not the other?

A lovely, relaxing tearoom, just a short walk away from the woodland car park. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, particularly Sam and Jane. Excellent, quick service, always with a smile, even when we call in just before closing! Nothing is too much trouble. Superb decaff tea and coffees and the best cream teas I've had (never upsets my GORD or IBD, unlike some places). The scones are so fresh! Cakes look wonderful too. Very reasonable pricing. There's a good choice of indoor and outdoor seating plus they are very dog friendly. Baby changing facilities are excellent. Love this place!

Went for tea & cake ! Very disappointed to be told they had no cake left even though it was only mid morning . The lady said its been a busy easter week & seemed stressed & annoyed at us for asking about cake even though the main thing people visit a tearoom for is tea & cake . I believe its now been taken over by new owners afraid won't be returning . Shame as its in a lovely location .

Revisiting, last came 3 years ago and really enjoyed it. This time we had a Luke warm long black, awful, so had a hot chocolate as a safer option and that was also luke warm! We had the Cornish Brunch to eat, tasty, but the bacon was so overcooked it was impossible to cut, the toast was also so hard it couldn’t be cut easily. Should have been so nice but was really disappointing overall. We’ve spent nearly £50 and left feeling we won’t be back.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Fabulous evening meal. We had the fish pie and the steak. Proper wholesome food. Tasty, fresh and well presented. Great atmosphere (or vibe for the kids). Highly recommend.
