The atmosphere is very relaxed and the atmosphere is mainly made up of local ladies.Enjoy the local beer served to you by hand. Compared to downtown, pints start from 4 ￡, which is very reasonable lol

My favourite pub in Sheffield. Great team always friendly and welcoming. Eclectic mix of clientele you can hear a diverse range of conversations that are interesting. No food but fantastic selection of bar snacks. Great well kept beer. Nice new McKee prints adorn the walls. And it’s open late.

We visited on a Sunday evening for a couple of drinks. The Moonshine bitter was in perfect condition and the bar service was excellent.

Broomhill Tavern, what a place, what an experience. Every time I come in I’m greeted by Darren, Alex and the regulars and I love it. The homely and warm feeling overwhelms me and instantly I’m comfortable and feel at home. There’s no one I’d rather give my money too then Darren, the man of the Tavern!!!!!!

I was there about 16 years ago from Australia visiting a friend of mine who worked there Rose and was one of the best places i visited. The owners and everyone in there were just fantastic treating me like a king and i hope everyone is in good health and doing well miss all the friends ❤️ I made especially Rose i still think of you all often.

Overall, my experience at this pub was nothing short of excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a diverse drink selection and a pleasant atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you are a local or a new student. It has the perfect balance of comfort and atmosphere between the quiz nights and showing the sport (which can be seen anywhere in the pub). Very reasonable on the drink prices, and I've never had a bad pint poured in there. The Guinness especially is top quality compared to other places in the area if that takes your fancy. The staff are great as you can have a good laugh with them as well. What more do you want in a pub? You honestly won't find much better in Sheffield.

BEST PUB IN SHEFFIELD! Couldn’t recommend this pub enough. Great atmosphere and ran by a lovely family. Bar staff are very accommodating, sad that the lovely lady behind the bar has left but the rest of the staff are lovely too. This will be my new regular! Good selection and very reasonably priced. Puts the other Broomhill pubs to shame:)

Sheffield is justifiably famous for its great pubs ,we visited so many great pubs on our three days in the steel city ,The Broomhill Tavern was one such great pub we visited. This is a fantastic looking pub,a very nice interior, multi roomed, tv's to enjoy the sport, pubby decor and furnishings, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Glossop Road. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, I ordered up at the bar and chose pale ale's from Kelham Island Brewery, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this very traditional pub. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish, a big hit of hops, on a really hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and served by staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their pub. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Broomhill Tavern we had a great time. The Broomhill Tavern is easy to locate along Glossop Road, a road with some fantastic pubs along. Opening hour's are; Monday to Sunday, Midday till Midnight. A fantastic, traditional pub,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Broomhill Tavern is a large pub that offers an excellent food menu and a good beer range and is located on Glossop road. A very well kept pub with an enviting exterior with outside seating.The inside is multi-roomed and is again well kept and spotlessly clean with brilliant seating options throughout the pubs interior and is reminiscent of a good well kept chain pub thats usually associated to Wetherspoons or a Greene King style of pub. This was another pub that I instantly liked as the staff were very friendly and the pub itself was so clean and inviting.As we where waiting for a craft beer bar called the Itchy Pig to open we decided to have a beer in here. When here we had a few glasses of Kelham Island brewery Pale ales which where fantastic and well priced for a pub of this quality. The Broomhill Tavern is well worth a visit as is this area of Sheffield as the staff are excellent and it has a superb food and drink's menu and is really easy to get to from Glossop Road/Ashgate Road bus stop it's a minute walk.(This is my first review of the Broomhill Tavern). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-00.00. Nearest Bus Stop. Glossop Road/Ashgate Road bus stop.

Been around in Sheffield for a few years and this is hands down the best pub I've been to. Such a great atmosphere, very 'pub' like vibes and great selection of beverages (Birra and Guinness are a personal fave). Overall, a 10/10

Good atmosphere and excellent choice of beer. I highly recommend their Guiness and when the food is back on you can order one of the biggest chip butty around. The Kelseys are great craic and excellent hosts.

We were lucky enough to get a table for 2 on Friday night 25/09/2020. Very friendly & efficient staff serving us at our table, social distancing in place, hand sanitisation etc. Sadly some people were turned away but they were sticking to the rules, not their fault. Announcement made to remind customers of last orders & would be closing at 10pm. All in all a great night, we were out by 9-30pm to pick up a takeaway. Thanks guys.
