Brookside Garden Centre in Tonbridge and Malling

Amazing place. However, I have only shopped here for fish all the way from Essex. The quality of the fish is fantastic and worth the journey

Shopping here during the week is best. Much quieter than weekends. Very good range of bulbs etc and plants starting to come in. Makes you feel human.

I went to brookside garden centre today with the oaks college and the class I think it feels like the first time I have been with the oaks college I'm new to the oaks college We had a look at the animals there and the fish And saw the christmas decorations they were amazing I really like your christmas decorations that you have in your garden centre I think my best part of going there today was seeing the fish and seeing the outside of the garden centre Everything is very lovely about brookside garden centre You have a very lovely garden centre The staff that work there are very kind and very lovely and polite and wonderful and amazing This garden centre gets a 5 out of 5 star rating by me 5 stars all around Hope you enjoy reading my google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day

Lovely garden centre with a good choice of products and a great cafe. Easy parking too. Toilets outside and inside.

Felt like they thought I was a shoplifter the way 1 girl seemed to be following me around the store with her duster, even when I went outside to the pond plants she found a reason to come outside

This garden centre is like a tardis. It looks small on the outside but when you go in, it's an aladins cave of just about everything you can imagine for your garden needs. Friendly staff. It's a shame they don't have a loyalty system like many other good garden centres. Nice little cafe too. Well worth a visit. I like thier pre planted indoor plants. You can always find something unique.

Cafe inside, not cheap but good food. Good selection of outlets and garden products.

Well kept garden centre. Easy to park and lots of additional non gardening items to purchase.

One of our favorite cafe's for lunch, all the staff are lovely and work brilliantly as a team with quick friendly service. The food on the menu is excellent and a very good price. Delicious cakes and deserts. Very clean and comfortable surroundings, I can recommend their Quiche Lorraine with new potatoes and salad.

No hesitation in recommending this place. Have been back many times now for great food and fantastic service in the cafe. Cotton Traders is also worth a look as they have some really good deals.

Had a lovely visit here, unfortunately they didn't have what we were looking for, but that's more because we had left getting our bedding plants late, so not their fault, restaurant was cosy very busy, looks like a popular place

Something for everyone here - the garden and home! There’s an aquatic centre and decent cafe serving good quality local produce. We shall be returning!

Really lovely garden centre with ideas for indoors outdoors, fish and pond ideas as well as novelty presents. The cafe is reasonably priced and nice food, staff all very helpful and friendly as well. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely plants and very accommodating staff, we got all that we wanted in very fast time.

Carpark is very awkward if you have a long car, or care about your car, but the garden centre is beautiful. Come in a friend's car you don't really like that much.

Mostly go for pond stuff, plenty of supplies.

Went to this garden centre on a bank holiday recently. Was very busy but it's huge with loads of parking. Lovely location near East Peckham. Amazing garden centre full of beautiful plants. Everything you could want. Also lots of garden tools and garden ornaments. A pond and fish section too. Great for all your needs. The restaurant is great. They serve lovely food for a good price too. Delicious. There loads to do here and a great place to Visit with your family. Worth a visit.

Got my seed potatoes and some compost all grow so all good peat free compost no good for seeds will have to get seed compost from now on as always used same compost before

Lovely family run garden centre, has a great cafe too

Very nice would recommend. We went to the cafe which is clearly very popular. The wife tells me prices have shot up but I felt we received value for money especially the Jungle Box for kids and I enjoyed helping with the colouring book. One criticism. I liked the display by the entrance to the cafe but our 3 year old can't read he can't touch it and whatever you might think he is always going to be quicker than us. We tried our best to keep him away but it is fascinating to someone like him.

Enjoyed a walk around and then a cheese scone in the coffee shop.

Great selection of all garden and house plant products. This place is a lot bigger than it first looks from the outside, lovely cafe also inside with a nice selection of food and drinks. Staff are extremely helpful. I was looking for a large pot for a rose plant and found exactly what I was looking for. There is a great selection here for whatever you are looking for. There is plenty of parking also.

Not dog friendly otherwise I'd visit

Spotless aquariums, healthy fish, lovely staff, will definitely be coming again got my eye on some invitro plants. Fish I bought are doing well ( kuhli loach) I'm doing a Harry potter themed tank ( slytherins lol)

Took my mum to look at some tropical fish .... very clean , very professional and knowledgeable ladies that was working on this day .... after we visited here we went to another fish shop which made brookside look even better. Fish all looked healthy etc ... very happy with my visit here .

Love this place. It's a little expensive sometimes but the staff are really lovely and everything is of quality - no change. Still the loveliest people throughout the store. The coffee shop is really reasonable with tasty food too.

They don’t allow dogs, not even small ones in a bag.

I come here on a regular basis as I am plant obsessed, they have different plants in almost every 2 weeks it’s great, food is good in the cafe to would definitely recommend

Always a good variety of stock. Staff are helpful and friendly. A bonus is the super restaurant/ cafe area too. Had a lovely light lunch today, my choice from a fair size menu, and all prepared on site.

Amazing! Simply Amazing displays. Superb staff, knowledgeable and friendly- one the most stylish Christmas displays and then you discover there is a whole further section at the back. Kids love it, just the best dressed xmas trees. As well as Christmas decorations I was able to find a couple of Witty cards and a gift from the gift section. This is a friendly sized garden centre - big enough to have great choice but not oversized like some centres that make you feel you have to walk 200 yards for the WC.

So much more than a garden centre. Our grandson loved the tropical fish and Santa's grotto. There's also a cafe, which seemed popular, and a large retail place selling everything from wellies to, surprise surprise, plants.

Rather expensive and coffee shop had queue for seats over looking people eating and drinking, not very nice.

The cafe does gluten free. Excellent. Garden centre is good, everything you could need.

Always liked this Garden Centre but was amazed when i visited on Saturday and was going to buy some Christmas Decorations. I picked 4 gold and 4 red of the same decoration and when i looked at the price the gold were £2.50 and the red were £3.50 (a 30% difference). i queried this with a member of staff and was told i should expect to pay more as there was a premium for red decorations. I have never heard anything like this before. Needless to say all the decorations were put back on the shelf

Met a friend for lunch, the food in the cafe was delicious, good value for money. There's a little aquatics section great for children to look at, an array of products on offer with some at great value. All in all a great little garden centre.

Been here a few times, becoming a regular visitor mainly for the cafe, mostly for the ‘Mr Whippy’ type of ice cream that they have there. Also wonderful sausage sandwiches too! Shop is decent but the plant section outside (apart from shrubs, lots of them) always seems a bit low stocked, maybe that is just me visiting at the wrong times. Carpark’s a bit tight but always able to find a space. Cafe though, easily one of the best for quite a distance around. :)

Brought a water lily asking for help wanted pygmy water lily and was told to look for it he just sat on the till no customers just not bothered told me witch one and now it turns out it's not a pygmy water lily not happy and don't recommend this place

Absolutely fantastic garden centre for all your gardening needs. Extremely helpful staff and delivery also available within a certain distance. Plenty of parking available and open 7 days a week.

This was the first time I had been here and loved every second I was there. Beautiful layout, easy to get around, lovely wide isles. I will be going again. We'll worth the 2 hour drive to get here. I highly recommend.

Nice local garden centre. The outdoor area is nice, Indoor area is also nice. I like the fish section. Cafe has a nice vibe, but quality of coffee could be higher. Staff are quite helpful.

Friendly staff good variety of products

The garden centre itself is brilliant. A wide range of products across the board, a really comprehensive garden centre. I shopped mainly for indoor plants and the range was exceptional! The only reason I haven't given 5* is because of the café located within the garden centre. The staff were lovely and service was quick and with a smile! However the food was sub standard, sausages were dry to the point they tasted past their use by date, very dry scrambled egg and very soggy toast, all could have been much better. The 2for1 hot drinks before 10am on weekdays is a nice idea. Will be returning for the garden centre without doubt but maybe not the food. Edit: Revisited this garden centre today in a bit of a rush as I arrived 5 minutes before closing time. Prior to arriving I called up to enquire about the availability of a product which an extremely helpful member of staff checked whilst he spoke to me on the phone and confirmed they stocked what I needed. When I arrived a member of staff was by the door and directed me straight away to where the compost I needed was. Again, staff were very helpful and friendly and the garden centre alone is worth 5*.

Nice place to visit for lunch. Needs dedicated motorbike parking spaces. Menu is good and not too expensive, loved the ploughman's.

Quality plants nice atmosphere sensory plants as you walk outside. Leave husband at home next time so I can relaxant stay longer.

I’ve not been here for about 10 years as I had moved. It was still as friendly as it was then. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely lunch in the cafe which was all made fresh. A must place to visit for shopping and something to eat.
