Terminal 2 isn’t great for food offerings and this is the best of the bunch The bacon muffin and cappuccino were decent although nothing that you would rush back to if you had a choice.

Terminal 2 is generally very poor for food and I’m afraid this place doesn’t help. Stopped here for an early morning breakfast and ended up regretting it. We found the service quite slow, had trouble finding a table and thought the almond croissants were rubbery. We wouldn’t use again.

An early morning flight at Manchester Airport terminal 2, requires coffee and sustainance... A very welcoming Eileen showed us to a table. Such a warm cheery individual at 6.45am makes all the difference. Lovely coffee, very nice hot bacon and egg barm. Friendly and efficient service from everyone. Lovely start to our holiday. Thank you

We checked out a few places to eat in terminal 2 but decided on Broderick's as it had something on the menu for us all(including fussy kids). My husband ordered a bacon sandwich instead of sausage by mistake and staff happily changed the order once we realised. Food was lovely and my son loved his chocolate milkshake. A nice spot and far cheaper than the other food places in terminal 2.

We make it our stop off through T2 on every trip now. After the appalling experience of security at T2 (MCR need to do something about this as you get treated like an animal) it is a welcome relief to see Brodericks as soon as you exit. The service is always quick, the breakfasts are superb (particularly the egg and bacon sandwiches), they are always fresh and piping hot. And brought to your table. All the staff are always jolly and polite. Eileen is a national treasure - she cheers everyone as they pass through. Eileen for Mayor of Manchester 🤔

This is what airport food and drink should be. Big chains take note! Quick service, clean environment and very reasonable prices. Food came quickly and was piping hot. You even get a discount if you buy a coffee refill. Staff couldn't be more helpful. My big worry is that with the T2 redevelopment the big chains will take over and smaller businesses like this will be squeezed out.

This is our 'go to' cafe at Terminal 2. The coffee is great and the food is lovely. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and the place is clean. The prices are right and we never even bother to walk past and look for anywhere else. Thank you for a great start to our holiday.

We don’t usually fly from T2 so weren’t familiar with this outlet. The cappuccino was ok as was the blueberry muffin.

Bacon and egg barm or sausage and egg barm for a fiver and they do a decent cup of tea! Staff are friendly and efficient. Favourite stop off point at terminal two, especially when on an early flight. Clean and bright though can be a bit draughty but I guess that's due to where it's situated, still enjoyable though.

An unbelievably positive experience at Terminal 2 this morning. Good coffee and incredibly welcoming helpful staff. Not only offer to take drinks to your table but go the extra mile. Helped one lady get onto the WiFi.

We always stop here as we leave the UK. Great service, nice people, excellent coffee and the best bacon butties around. Always reliable.

Served by a miserable girl who abruptly told me they didn’t accept American Express , a sorry would have helped. Latte was good but bottle of water 500ml was £1.65 but cold not like the ones being sold in Boots opposite .

Absolutely fantastic brunch here. Their classic full English hits the nail on the head with the homemade hash browns, and the Vegetarian full English is superb, being its own dish and not a vegetarian replacement to the classic breakfast. The coffee was also really good and all the staff were very friendly. It's also a great spot for drinks on an evening, and I would highly recommend it!

Update: Location seems to have changed hands, and many old menu items are missing from the menu such as burgers and sandwiches. Replaced by hot dogs which were not available when visiting. Food was not piping hot when served and barely any cheese on the cheesy chips which were not made fresh like before. I don't personally see what was wrong with the old menu, but hey, we have dumplings now for some reason??? Old review: Atmosphere is really nice and food is excellent. All food is prepared fresh.

What a great place! I had a wonderful experience at this bar. My first time here was during their bank holiday weekend music event! The event drew a lot of people and the outdoor space was perfect for it. The bartender Alex, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. She’s the best bartender I know! The owner, Andy is very friendly. The music during this event was so good as well!

I recently visited The Firbank Pub & Kitchen using a dine-in voucher that was kindly offered after a disappointing Uber Eats order, where the food had arrived overcooked and not great quality for the price. I appreciated the gesture and thought I’d give it another go, especially as I’d heard good things about the Sunday roast. Unfortunately, the dine-in experience didn’t really change my opinion. I ordered the Sunday roast again, hoping for improvement, but was left underwhelmed. The meat was overcooked, the plate was missing stuffing, and overall everything was lukewarm—not what you’d hope for from a roast. My partner had the chicken goujons, which were quite salty and again just not great in quality. While the portion sizes are generous, the food still didn’t live up to expectations. That said, the staff were lovely and Simon in particular stood out with excellent customer service. It’s clear they care about the customer experience, which is really appreciated—but sadly, the food just isn’t enough to bring me back.
