Broadway Cafe Bar in Nottingham

Went to see a film, afterwards a friend said ' you must try the meat tacos'. We did, she was right, they were outstanding! Cafe was packed but service was quick. Can't wait till the next time.

Had a Soya latte here and it was excellent, the service was very good and quick but as we had dogs we sat outside, unfortunately it was a bit untidy, next time I'll try inside to see if its any better, I did look about when I ordered and it did look clean and tidy inside

Brilliant service on Saturday. Really busy because of Pride but the staff at the bar worked really hard and were well organised. Clockwork from what I could see.

Esma was great at Broadway bar, very attentive and great service ! Would definitely come back!

Fantastic Pizzas , friendly staff & fast service

It’s ok. The food is mediocre at best. The music is often 90s throwback (think Massive Attack). The crowd is normally older (think GenX and Boomers) probably because of the cinema discount card. It’s dark inside as there is no natural light from windows.

Came for a pizza before a film and it took 40 mins to arrive. Had to leave most of it.

Very good experience. We weren't seeing a show however we popped in here last night for a bite to eat. Atmosphere and staff very amiable. I had a burger which tasted fresh. Gets very busy towards show times and became quite cramped however I suppose to be expected.

Really enjoyed my food. Nice to have a few vegan options. One of us had an issue with their food, but they were nice and changed the food

So chilled, such a lovely place to read or work on a laptop, staff are friendly and the food is cheap and yummy

Awful food , served cold and congealed, looked like it had stood for 30 minutes before being bought to the table . Definitely not just freshly plated . Would not recommend, nor would I return. In fact would advise to avoid the place

I think it's ok but it's more dedicated to youth. It's cheaper to watch movies and such like for the young but if you're over 25 then it's not so cheap. I find that most appear to be on more income than myself. A struggling self employed man in his 40s. Inclusivity is supposed to be rife in this day and age although I'm experiencing less and less of it myself. I'll stick to Sobar since I'm a little more included there. I can't watch films there but I'm only an occasional watcher anyway. It would be nice too see more fairness.

The best place to hangout in the city.

It's changed a little in layout but very welcoming and a good as pre-lockdown. Good value and excellent atmosphere.

Recently refurbished, quieter and more comfortable with a new cosy nook. Good range of tasty beers and non alcoholic drinks. Front terrace remains one of the best places for people watching in the city.

Awesome café/bar with very chilled vibes. Great place to spend an afternoon catching up on some business emails whilst having a favourite tipple. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great new refurb too.

Service was really slow. We had a movie, got there fifteen minutes early, ordered drinks to take into the movie... And was late for the movie.

Great to have a meal before going to cinema. Go early though because it soon fills up at midday.

Good scrambled eggs & bacon for brunch (although Mrs Ellis thinks the eggs could have done with more butter). Really good coffee too.

Square eatery/drinkery on the ground floor of the Broadway Cinema, Broad Street, Hockley, city centre. Prices are not the lowest although beer is reasonable (3 Nottingham Brewery ales on regularly), the tea range is quite good and there's a coffee customer reward system. Food: decent veggie range, kids' menu, different size dishes, OK quality. Can get noisy, usually periodically before film start times. Free WiFi of course, and many laptops are to be seen. It's a popular get-together venue.
